We selected Weber’s as our anniversary destination this year and I was overall very happy with the experience! Since it was also the local high school graduation thus taking away all of our babysitter options, I was nervous to bring our 10 month old baby along to our dinner, but the staff treated us royally and things went well! I had let them know it was our anniversary, but sadly there weren’t any special things added in(we’ve gotten free champagne at Aventura in the past!), but that’s ok. There was a live piano player(this was a Thursday night) which was awesome! He was playing contemporary cover songs and I loved it! Our server was super kind and accommodating. There were other kids there… about 4 kids and 1 other baby at our early dinner hour of 630pm, just FYI! Their wine was priced very fairly, and I think the entrees were as well. I selected the Atlantic salmon which was good, though I wish that there were two sides allowed instead of one! My mixed veggies on the side were a bit sparse, I was hoping for more! The first two dishes that my husband requested from the menu were sold out or unavailable, so that was disappointing. He got filet with crab meat on it, but said that the crab meat was sparse as well. This seems to be a special event kind of place, so I wanted to mention that a neighboring table brought in a small birthday cake, and seemed to get some trouble from the manager about it, so check with them if you want to avoid a cringe-y situation! Overall, it was a good experience, and I was happy to be there!

I gave my experience 4 stars due to a bartender I think his name is «Tim.» Some friends(professional band members) and I came after they had a show. The food was good, my waitress Alex was great and the band playing was good as well. Upon leaving I said«excuse me» and I asked the bartender Tim for a bag for my container. No acknowledgement while I stood there so I had to «ask again» he replied«I heard you the 1st time» REALLY? Is this how you speak to customers? Just RUDE! You don’t want to cry RACISM each time someone white acts a fool — maybe they’re just ignorant. IDK but that’s NOT how you treat people especially a BARTENDER. Overall everything was good except for that sour taste of a bartender! I tried to switch my experience to 3STARS after I had posted but couldn’t.

Awesome service, phenomenal food, great day! I took my mother here(5÷11÷16) for a late Mother’s Day dinner(I know, Shame on me). I travel all over, and host conventions for those in the hospitality industry. Our server John /Jon(didn’t have a name tag) was excellent ! He was very attentive and personable on top of already being great with his service. He helped us decide what wine to drink with our meals, he brought us extra salmon pâtéè which was really awesome because it was so tasty! The only downside was that our waiter seemed so stressed that it truly bothered even me. I truly wanted to get up and help him, but hey I know how it goes. I paid attention to everything during our meal and realized that our main course took a while before being delivered but when everything came it was absolutely perfect! Prime rib cooked the way I wanted and my mother absolutely loved her lobster! Our meals were almost so perfect I expected it to be our last. We didn’t have room for any dessert, but that was our fault because I even saw some tasty dessert items going out to other tables. Make sure you save room For dessert! All and all I will for sure be back!

This iconic restaurant, long an anchor in Ann Arbor, has so much promise, yet failed miserably to live up to its reputation. There is plenty of parking, the outside is aesthetically pleasing and inviting. Looks like a supper club, the sort of place you could easily spend a few hours without realizing the time has passed. Soon after being seated, however, my disappointment began. The interior feels dated, probably hasn’t been redecorated since Gerald Ford gave the the U of M graduation speech. Parts of it are too dark and feel detached from the rest of the restaurant. We came here the day after graduation for a family brunch. Excited at the prospect of a large buffet, we arrived with big appetites. Before ordering, I walked through the buffet. If you like pork and simply carbohydrates(think lots of refined sugar), this is your place!!! There was a large ham carving station, three waffle stations, and many of the hot trays were filled with pork. Those dishes that didn’t have pork, generally were loaded with sugar, butter or cheese. Even the scrambled eggs were soaked with goop. I’m not sure what they added(I’m guessing lots of butter and cheese) but it looked far too rich for my diet. I so badly wanted to order the buffet but there was literally not one thing there I would eat. No oatmeal, hardboiled eggs. smoked fish(lox), or chicken anything. Would it be that hard to offer one tomato and cucumber salad? What about greek yogurt? Instead of three diabetes-inducing waffle stations, might you have one made-to-order omelette station with the option of egg whites? In the end I ordered a off the menu. Thankfully they were able to prepare a(puny) egg-white omelette. When I asked if the refried beans were made with lard(they are), the waitress said I was being difficult. If not wanting to pollute my body with refined sugars and pork is being difficult, than I’m guilty as charged. The service was far below average. I had to keep asking for a decaf refill. I asked if she could bring the table a carafe, she said catering was using most of them. If that’s the case, she should have come by far more often. I wouldn’t say it was the single worst service I’ve had, but only one notch above. Needless to say, I wouldn’t come here to eat brunch again, even if they were giving it away.

First off, food and wine here is incredible! My review is for their bakery though… Mary-Beth was super helpful every step of the way with my order. My wedding was last week and I ordered custom cookies and mini-desserts, they were all beautiful and very yummy! Would highly suggest this bakery to anyone! Very reasonably priced also! Thanks again!

After paying nearly $ 100 dollars for dinner for myself and my date I have to say I wasn’t in the slightest way pleased with dinner or our service. If I’ve ever felt like a neglected dog this would have been the night. Let me set the the mood. I was placed in a dark, cold corner and fed meat and potatoes that were barely cooked. I like myself a fancy dinner now and again, even if I’m not that fanciest of fancy guys on this planet. After being placed in this cold dark corner I was treated by a waitress that reminded me of «one of those rapper guys girlfriends». And I have a feeling she was snorting coke lines in the back because of how ridiculously hyper she was and she just kind of had this odd ball look in her eye. As being told this was an «amazing» steak restaurant I decided to order the filet mignon with fingerling potatoes. I ordered my steak medium rare and well I guess the potatoes too. My steak was quite tough and was pinker than… Something pink, idk. Basically I’d rather have gone to outback for a steak and probably would’ve spent have the amount of money. Guess that’s what I get for«elegance». Thanks for reading.

I’m from A2 originally and always make sure I swing by Weber’s for a bite when I’m around. Its such a great restaurant. Top notch food, excellent service and so friendly. I would recommend this spot for anyone who wants to get a taste of Ann Arbor, it’s definitely my favorite place to eat in town! Also, check out the Habitat at night, great live music and after hours hang.

Another great dinner at Weber’s! We are staying at the inn for a couple of nights and had the mandatory stop over to the restaurant side to eat. There was no wait, being a Thursday night, and the salmon pâté and bread basket was as good as ever. The piano was really rocking out the Pink Floyd hits, and we even had some AC\DC. I ordered a perch dinner, while my wife had the crab cakes and daughter had a fruit plate from the kid’s menu to go with the bread basket she was enjoying too much. The perch was Lake Erie perch, perfectly breaded, skin on as it should be, and pan fried to nice light curl. I didn’t even need tartar sauce or lemon, it was perfect on its own with a hint of the butter sauce that was on the plate. It came with fingerling potatoes and sautéed spinach to make for the best perch dinner I’ve had in a while. Breakfast the next day was my favorite eggs Benedict, that comes with a ladle of hollandaise so you can cover the eggs with as much of that sinfully good sauce as you like.

Family dinner to celebrate my daughters birthday I Horrible! Overpriced for the quality of food served! Had to pay 18% gratuity for mediocre service. Appetizers had a hair in it Food was cold the signature prime rib was mostly fat Steaks chewy I also ordered the bakery cupcakes Very stale Very disappointing Very overpriced and overrated

I’ve been going to Webber’s for years. The food is almost always great and it is a beautiful dining room. The service however, is a letdown. It has never been excellent and coming back after living out of Ann Arbor, I see nothing has changed. You really expect more in service for the price and quality of the food. Here are a few examples: we had a reservation and when we arrived the hostess said she would go to check if our table was ready. When she took us to our table it was not fully set and what was there was not enough for our party. I would expect my table to be ready when I’m seated. When our steaks were served they were served without steak knives and we had to wait several minutes for them to be retrieved. We were also not asked if we wanted any condiments which I felt was unusual for prime rib which is usually served with horseradish at Webber’s. The waitress was nice but not the level of attentiveness and professionalism I would get at an equally priced restaurant in Ann Arbor. Unfortunately, I would not call Webber’s fine dining even though with better service it could be. I was disappointed and probably won’t visit next time I’m in town.

My family comes here for most birthday dinners. You get a free entrée! Woohoo! Weber’s is a beautiful restaurant with cozy, classy seating. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is really tasty. None of the dishes are crazy avant-garde, but it is all very professionally done. Thanks to Restaurant weeks, I can confirm that the appetizers and desserts are also really great. I’ve had a couple good cocktails here too. I also want to point out the frequent diners program here at Weber’s. I don’t pay close attention to my points balance, but I receive substantial vouchers after every meal or two. Sometimes there are vouchers for appetizers and drinks, free entrees, etc. This upscale dining experience is already very reasonably priced, so this program is the tiebreaker when I’m choosing a venue for a special occasion.

If you approach Ann Arbor from the West, this place is clearly an oasis. It far exceeds the quality of any dining establishment you’ve driven by in the past hour(that’s right, I’m referring to everything East of the casino.) If you are in downtown Ann Arbor, don’t waste bus fare getting to Weber’s. You have far better choices in town. Weber’s is a legend in its own mind. Some people like that. I don’t. Stay true. Protect yo’ heart. Do the right thing. Enjoy!

Been at the hotel for a short business trip they gave me tons of coupons at front desk. Stopped by the bar and as always it’s very hard to say NO to the walleye fish. Almost the best walleye sandwich I ever had. salad was perfect. My first time at webers but maybe they cut a permanent customer for themselves.

I am singlehandedly trying to make brunch happen in Ann Arbor, so I’m on a mission to hit up potential winning brunch spots. This one won’t be on the list. Sorry, Weber’s, I was really looking forward to touting you as the front runner. The brunch buffet was pretty weak sauce. There was no bacon. I repeat: no bacon. The mini-waffles were made freshly, and there was a bone-in ham cutting station. There was also an egg and cheese bake, frozen hash browns, and some sausage pucks. The standout was actually the beef stew/pepper steak over rice. Maybe they would redeem in drinks? Bloody Mary was pure tomato juice; no spice, no pizzazz other than a tiny celery stalk and a measly green olive. The coffee was quality, but I’m also not a coffee aficionado, so I could be way off! I likely won’t be back for brunch again. Where are the decent brunch spots, y’all?!

This place is known for their prime rib(granted there are lot of restaurants in Ann Arbor area that offer prime ribs, so you’ll have to judge for yourself who has the best prime rib)… I’ve been going here during for some time… in addition to the menu items, I enjoy their brunch buffet on Sunday mornings… for $ 10.25, it’s the cheapest brunch in town. Brunch is hit or miss… their sausage(reheated frozen sausage patties) were dry the past few times I visited… I like how they have the waffle and ham craving station… granted that same person also refills the foods on the buffet line :) Their buffet offerings doesn’t change much… there will be different pasta options from time to time… but you’ll find that the offering will be the same… Service can be little challenging when they are busy… had to wait 15 minutes few times to get a refill on coffee… but if you want a cheap brunch and have lot of people to feed, then this place is wroth visiting. As with any buffet, the lines can be long or slow… In the past few visits, I’ve dealt with more«slow»… as people in front of me will look at the food from different angles as if the visual will change or something… Maybe I should try that next time and slow the line ;)

As good as ever! Beautifully executed food. To me, this still ranks among some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. My husband and I love the food and ambiance. Weber’s features a fantastic cocktail program and well-thought out menus. The salmon is so tender and flavorful and 100% fresh. My husband loves their steaks and we both love their pasta dishes, particularly Fettuccine Alfredo. Salads are always plated perfectly and surpass any house salad you’ll find most anywhere else. Delectable desserts and good breakfast omelets and waffles. In fact, the breakfast buffet is a pretty good option for anyone wanting to sample a variety of dishes instead of sticking with a specific menu item. An all-around top notch dining experience. True, prices aren’t that cheap, but the food, experience and service are worth it. If you get a rewards card, it does pay off in time if you are a frequent diner.

Used to go to the fancy Sunday brunch back in my college days so booked it for a late Mother’s Day brunch. It was so disappointing. Food was on par with an Old Country Buffet, not at all sophisticated(egg bake, sausage patties, mini waffles, macaroni salad, etc.) and the service was horrific. It took almost 10 minutes for anyone to greet our table and take our drink orders and then servers stood around doing nothing while plates needed to be cleared and drinks refilled. I tried to flag down a standing waiter and he mouthed something ***!!! back at me and continued to stand there — classy. Additionally, the layout of the buffet is horrible — they coral you through a tiny area and everyone is bumping into each other. Will never go back to Weber’s restaurant again.

My brother’s friend spoke highly of this place, so we made a reservation here for lunch after the graduation ceremony at Michigan. They had a special graduation menu with raised prices. Strategic? Yes. Kind of obnoxious? Also yes. My mom ordered the crab cakes, my grandparents ordered the crab cakes to share, my brother ordered the half-duck, and I ordered the roasted portobello mushroom entrée(the only vegan option they offered other than a salad). Each entrée came with either a salad/soup option. The soups were lobster bisque and French onion(with beef broth), so while everyone else enjoyed the bisque, I ended up going with the house salad. This was probably the highlight of my meal as the raspberry vinaigrette was perfect with the slivered almonds and dried cranberries but was also probably the easiest dish to make. When our food came, I wanted to laugh. What I got for $ 18 was one portobello mushroom topped with spinach and red peppers and a massive amount of cut-up pieces of squash and zucchini and a cauliflower/broccoli floret here and there. The cauliflower/broccoli was practically still raw, to the point where my grandma ended up giving me hers because she was having trouble chewing it. Most surprising of all, the completely bland veggies were steamed without any oil(everyone else’s appeared to be cooked in melted butter), herbs/spices, or seasoning. They also randomly forgot the rice on my mom’s plate, and she asked the waiter if they’d also forgotten rice on my plate. Turns out the vegan dish doesn’t come with rice, and apparently they think that a bland plateful of veggies is somehow going to satisfy. Folks, this is what happens when a non-vegan tries to cook for a vegan and has no idea what they’re doing. For the record, I finished my meal still hungry. My brother did say the duck that he ordered was the juiciest he had ever had($ 23), and as the graduating senior, he was the guest of honor. I did think it was a little silly that they literally gave him a duck cut in half and expected him to carve it himself.(Don’t get this if you don’t want to be using your fingers and generally getting meat grease all over your hands.) The waiter was really friendly and nice, but almost a little too overly zealous about trying to clear the table. Probably after I finished half of my plate, as every 10% was eaten, he would come by and ask if I was done.(I appreciate your fervor, but I just eat slowly, okay??) Our water glasses were also not filled until half of them had been empty for most of the meal, which was a little disappointing for a nice restaurant. Ironically, the glass-filling picked up at the end when everyone was done. My brother and mom also ordered alcohol-spiked coffee in lieu of dessert, which they both really enjoyed. Overall, I was surprised that as a pretty nice restaurant that they didn’t get a lot of the details right(the forgotten rice on my mom’s plate, the undercooked broccoli/cauliflower, etc). And I get that this is a steakhouse/seafood place, but there are plenty of people with dietary restrictions these days, enough so that a little more thought should be put into what was honestly a pretty terrible entrée for me. I’m sure my brother would consider returning, but I’m definitely passing.

Came here for my birthday dinner, was somewhat disappointed. First our waitress kept going missing for long periods of time, which became a little irritating(especially when you realize the restaurant is only half full). I got the Oscar style ribeye which is an addition of lump crab meat for I believe $ 7 or $ 8. It was a gigantic ripoff, as I received roughly 5 nickel to quarter sized pieces of crab. The worst part of the meal had to be the temperature of the steaks we were served. All at the table found our steaks room temperature. We couldn’t comment to the waitress as after serving us, she was nowhere to be found for the next 10 minutes. We eventually gave up and just ate. I didn’t canvass the table but my steak was overcooked from the med-rare I ordered, which is a cardinal sin for a place specializing in steak and prime rib. I can’t see myself returning, which is unfortunate as after leaving DC my wife and I have been on the lookout for some nicer dining options in the AA area.

Great dining experience here at Weber’s and consistent with previous visits. Here with a group for a Thursday night birthday. Arrived a little early for our reservation and enjoyed the wait in the adjacent bar area. Once seated, the excellent service was nonstop. My NY Strip was cooked to perfection(medium rare). Seasoned just right, tasty and juicy. Entrées are served with soup or salad and a choice of a starch or veggie. The salad was tops with my choice of a delicious blue cheese and my side of steamed, seasoned veggies made a perfect complement to the steak. Some other dishes in rhe group that were ordered and highly regarded were the seared scallops, the fettuccini alfredo, salmon and the pan fried fresh trout. Meets and exceeds.
