Everything here looks so yummy I just want to buy everything. They have a huge selection of pastries, bread, teas, coffees, and bubble tea. Lots of desserts! I only went here to meet up some friends for a quick bite and some coffee, but it seems like a good quick place to catch up, and it is open early and closes late.

Honestly, Breeze café is just OK to me. It’s definitely not one of my top choice for bakery in the Annandale area. A few pros are that it’s spacious(there are 2 floors) and it’s open till late. So if you’re in the area and need to place to chill/hang out, then I would recommend this place. Other than that, I personally think everything is just okay. They have a variety of Korean baked goods, coffee, drinks, gelato and other types of dessert. They used to have pistachio gelato that I really liked, but they no longer hold that flavor anymore :(. I’ve tried their hazelnut gelato recently, and it was too creamy. Their bubble tea tastes average, it’s not refreshing to me for some reason. Parking is limited

I like the hot teas they have here. They always put fresh ingredients with the tea bag. I like the ginger tea and the citron tea; both sweetened. Their pastries are good as well. I bought a green tea mouse cake for a friend and she absolutely loved it! I also got the chocolate mouse cake and it was really rice and creamy.

I love the bingsoo here. We got the fruit and yogurt bingsoo and they were both great; we loved the syrup that they used. They also have yummy looking cakes and breads as well. I would definitely recommend this place for bingsoos.

I only came here once and I tried the Bingsoo. I had never had it before so I thought it was pretty good! I can’t say that I’m the best person to judge this place because I came so late and most of the other deserts were gone. But I would like to go back sometime!

This place seems to be a solid spot for out of state vistors to grab dessert after a hefty meal, or a place that accommodates medium to large groups well. I suggest coming earlier in the day for fresh baked goodies and a wider selection. The later you go the less of a selection. I tend to be a fan of the more savory breads and treats. Try their deep fried doughnut with hotdog in the middle or their egg/cheese/meat bread. Their refrigerated baked goods are less than stellar as they don’t follow traditional routes. Example being the fruit tart. Its usually a graham cracker crust or almond crust, with a custard cream and fruit on top. My surprise came when their tart was filled with a baked cake and slight whipped cream ontop. Their cupcakes can be hard and flavorless, but they lure me in with their cuteness(why.). However, I do like their«Green Tea Cake» & «Strawberry Cream Cake». Those are done very well! Their bingsoo is a popular dish and a good sharing option. Their drinks all sound appetizing but most are very sugary, primarily their lattes and milk teas. Do ask for a side of hot water to help water down the flavor to balance. I appreciate their mojitos during the hot summer since they’re tasty and cold! Try the white grape one :) This place is open late, and has a upper outdoor deck that is awesome during summer nights, spring and fall days. The upper level is more quiet during the day compared to their evenings. Plug ins are limited for those who are looking to study or a meeting place for conversation. Wifi is spotty and service is inconsistent.

The past few times I’ve been here, the staff behind the counter are always talking to each other and it takes a while for me to get any service(despite the fact that it’s not busy at all). Not only that, but the wifi is always down and unreliable. I mainly come here during the day to do work since my company allows me to work remotely. Honestly, their coffee is not great and the food is OK. Both are pretty pricy compared to other places, but I didn’t mind as long as I could do work. But since they’ve made no efforts to make their wifi more reliable and their customer service is lacking, I’m not sure I’ll be back.

Time for an update! Breeze Bakery is one of the Korean bakeries found in Annandale, located to the east of Yechon. The foliage and the vines as the décor is nice, and they have a variety of Korean breads, pastries, drinks, and cakes. I was recently told by a friend that their Black Milk Tea Latte was pretty tasty, so I had to check it out! Just make sure you’re requesting the latte version, not the smoothie version! Some may get this with boba, but I actually prefer it without anything but a little ice. It has such a pleasant fragrance, and the drink itself is creamy and refreshing — I just wished that they were consistent in making it strong every time! I am currently obsessed with their housemade Peppero cookies, because it is just way too cute to look at! The cakes behind the bakery case are also cute, but I just can’t get over how cute their Apple Cake is — it’s absolutely ADORABLE!!! I tried one of their cupcakes recently(just note that it’s about $ 9), but it’s more like a cake in a cup — there is vanilla, mango, strawberry, and chocolate, each being represented by a different animal; I decided to get the pink piggy(strawberry) — the cake itself is soft, and I liked that it wasn’t too crazy sweet but had a nice delicate taste of the strawberries. The place is opened a little later, and it’s usually bustling inside. +Black Milk Tea Latte, little ice +grape mojito(unique taste) +Pink cupcake in a cup +cute Peppero cookies! +spacious layout(downstairs, upstairs, and outside patio)

Here is the ranking for Annandale Korean bakeries(in my opinion): Manoa, Breeze, Tours Le Jour, and then Shilla. I know Shilla is the OG(original) in this area, but Shilla needs to step up it’s game cause Manoa and Breeze is killing the game. PROS: Breeze has a lot of space to sit, I do not have to fight with people for tables or squish in between tables because it is so crowded. It is a big plus that there is a second level. The second level gives us the option of sitting inside or outside, and that’s something the other bakeries do not have as an option. besides Manoa, but that is pathetic for outdoor seating compared to Breeze. Only thing worth trying is their blueberry bread, it is so good. Blueberry cream cheese filling that isn’t too sweet and compliments the bread exterior. I have not found anything as good as that in the area! CONS: The bingsoo is inferior to Manoa’s flavorful version. By the time I reach the bottom I am literally looking at a bowl of watered down condensed milk. Same problem as Shilla, too much ice, not enough toppings. The smoothie here… don’t try it, it is made out of either powder or jam it isn’t the real fruit. By the way, parking sucks. but not as bad as Shilla.

I am in totally love with this place!!! They have nice and fresh pastry, good price, and well made lattes. Customer service is awesome and everyone is willing to help. Cashiers are friendly and efficient. Seating area in the rooftop area is fantastic!!! I could be here hours and hours!!!

Cute Korean bakery with a wide assortment of pastries and sweets! They also have coffees, teas, bingsoo, and paninis. I got a bulgogi quesadilla after reading all the rave reviews about it. It was ok. The bulgogi was good but the quesadilla was pretty plain… just bulgogi beef, cheese, and the tortilla. The addition of some sauce or kimchi would have made it a great dish. Breeze has terrific pastries though(and fresh mochi!!!), which more than made up for the sad quesadilla experience. It’s very clean inside and there’s a second level where you can sit down and enjoy your goodies. The drinks were also pretty great — try the thai tea latte! It’s a bit newer inside than Shilla with good variety.

This place is no joke! I really should’ve gotten my camera fired up for this joint. They have some of the prettiest bakery items you will ever see! I mean visually they get a 9 out of 10 for me. They obviously focus on details. Their cake(Korean cake) was like nothing I’ve eaten before. I’ll premise this by saying I’m not a cake fan at all, but I really enjoyed theirs. It was creamy and not overly sweet. It was unique. Visually stunning and very tasty. I had the green apple ice cream. It literally taste like green jolly ranchers. If you’re into bakeries this is a MUST!

So, I have to say it’s just okay now. I give only 2 – 3 stars for the bingsoo now. I don’t know but somehow it has lost all it’s appeal. Everything else I have tried which ranges from multiple breads to the hot teas, I just can’t say is the best, or even second best I’ve had. Breeze is on the WAYYYYY bottom of my list when it comes to bakeries in Annandale now. When I only really had a choice between breeze and shilla, I chose breeze, but now there are just too many choices. The service also hasn’t been very friendly.

After watching an Instagram star create a song about boba, it triggered an intense craving for me. But I wasn’t up to settle for anything half-ass, so I turned my search towards Annandale. It was already after 9pm, so I crossed my fingers and filtered my search to «open now,» knowing that my choices would be slim if at all existent. To my surprise, Breeze is open super late, so I cruised on over to score me some boba. I believe my exact words that I used when I checked-in on the app was«Boba or bust!» Well guess what, y’all. I busted because they ran out of boba!!! Wtf. As I tried to process this information, I shoved a red bean pastry in my face as I contemplated my options and adoringly ogled all of the beautiful pastries on display. I swear, next time I’m hosting something special, this is where I will turn to for some beautiful, unique baked goods. I ended up settling on a taro smoothie with lychee jelly(although a little sweet for my taste) and kept it moving. Despite my boba disappointment, I still love Breeze Bakery!

I’m new to the area but glad this place exists, because it is a decent place to hang, with heaps of baked goods and desserts to feast on, and the upstairs seating is aplenty and comfortable. My current favourites are mocha bread –takes me back to my childhood– and conch shell –ditto-. The last time we came here I could hear at least four different languages spoken at the same time at one point, and that is one of the things I like about Virginia, this part of town. I don’t like that their WiFi is useless since I can never use it, but between the goodies and people-watching, I can’t complain :)

This is an adorable bakery. Love their Pat Bing Soo, the Korean shaved ice dessert topped with condensed milk, generous slices of fresh fruit, mochi bites and a creamy ice cream. Get a cup for yourself or a large bowl to share with friends. When it’s warmer out, you can relax upstairs in the sunny balcony space among the pretty potted plants and watch cars zoom by. They also offer milkshake-type of bubble teas which also hit the spot; and their frozen melon and fruit bars are also refreshing. Chocolate and baked goods are on the denser-side of the fluffy scale and can be pricey. But where else can you get a teddy bear-faced cake? Cute reigns supreme here. I love it. This is also a nice place to hang out and wait if you’re in line to eat next door at the busy Yechon for BBQ. But Breeze is worth a deliberate, special trip out to Annandale on its own!
