If you like a noisy bar, this is your place. I’ve come twice and both times I had to leave because it was so loud.

If your expectations are for bar food, then all is good. They are a bit inconsistent… sometimes fries are good, sometimes a bit soggy. Burgers are very good… I would pass on the pastas and salads though.

Best pizza in the area; great spot to watch a game or bring the family.

Fab afternoon watching the games and eating. Had the Cryans Super Pie and Buffalo wings. Amazing. The pie has had a miraculous thin crust, the right amount of sauce and fresh toppings. We had every intention of taking some leftovers home but… None left! The buffalo wings has a nice balance of heat and were not overpowering. Bri was attentive and so personable. Ask for her! She will not steer you wrong. Her cheery attitude completes the experience!

The place is always crowded which is a good thing for the business. Obviously a lot of locals like to come here to hang out and drink. However, due to it being so busy the noise is extremely loud and it’s difficult to hear the waiter/waitress. The food was alright. It was tolerable.

This place was great! Clean, welcoming, crowded but not packed. Obvi a well loved establishment. Football game was on but it wasn’t loud and the place was family friendly and casual. Ordered: Pumpkin spice beer — ice cold, came in cute glass goblet and was delicious(ordered 2nds!) Fried pickles App — hot and fresh, a definite hit(request extra dipping sauce) Pumpkin Ravioli special — came with about 10 pieces and had a white cream sauce, flavorful and yummy We also ordered bread on the side which was great to dip in the excess ravioli sauce If this place was closer to home we would be back ASAP! Also looks like they are known for their pizza as that seemed to be what everyone else was ordering around us.

Nice atmosphere, great service and food is good. Pizza is the best! I’m from Cali and it’s been difficult to find a spot that offers good food and liquor(a lot of places are byob) you get the best of both here!

I love Cryan’s, it’s one of my go to places in the area. The parking lot can seem crowded when you pull in, I swear it’s always that way, but when you head in you are usually able to get a seat right away. The pizza is delicious, just the same as it use to be when it was Miller’s. I recommend the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, tasty with just the right amount of spice. Also, the Bacon Bombs are a delicious appetizer, cheese wrapped in bacon and deep fried, what more could you ask for? If you are a craft beer fan this place is also great, they have rotating taps that seem to turn over quite quickly, so there is always something new for you to try! Keep an eye out for their tap takeovers as well, they happen often and they bring in great breweries.

Food was good, but the server seemed rushed and the food runner was rude, practically just threw our food down without even asking us if we needed anything else. When our server brought us a second round of drinks, she didn’t pick up our empty wine glasses or dirty plates. She was not attentive and didn’t smile, the food runner/bus boy seemed like he was beyond miserable. To say the staff didn’t go out of their way is an understatement. Management needs some type of revamping/morale boost for staff because they don’t seem to enjoy working here(at least from what I witnessed tonight).

I don’t know what happened to this place but it’s gone downhill terribly. We used to go every weekend and put up with the constant 40 min wait and nowhere to stand but up against the wall(so annoying). The past three times we got the same thing hoping it would get better but it tasted like they’re trying out different frozen food vendors. The fried pickles USED to be good, now they’re just a greasy mess. The bacon bombs tasted like fake string cheese and the pizza had a rubbery taste. On top of nowhere to sit inside, the food needs a makeover. We won’t be back anytime soon.

Pretty great overall. Our server was extremely attentive and sweet. The bus boy was also very helpful! We were seated pretty quickly for a group of 5 and it was pretty busy for a Monday night! We had the best potato skins ever, along with a great wedge salad and the garlic wings. We had the margarita pizza and a plain one as well, which were not as good as the past time we visited but still fairly yummy. We had two flights of draft beers and our favorite was the Yards Scotch Ale. Definitely coming back!

The first couple of times I went their pizza had stayed the same from when it was Miller’s. Last time I was there was a complete let down. Seems they have changed ingredients and the way they make it. I was burping up garlic powder for a day after words. I think they cheaped out on ingredients because they used to have seasoned homemade French fries and those were right out of the bag this time.

I was so excited about checking this place out, since it got revamped, but the atmosphere is so dull. This bar is lacking in energy and doesn’t feel very familial like other bars in the area do. The food is okay, but not good enough to keep me coming back.

Service was lacking and the food tasted like styrofoam. I had the fish and chips and so did my coworkers and they did not enjoy it.

Time for a new«CHEF» This place has Horrible food . Worst nachos i’ve ever had… cheese sauce from a can… really? Overcooked dry cheeseburger, cold fries, french onion soup taste like dish water. My friends had a cheesesteak the meat was burned and on stale bread with no cheese. I heard the pizza was good… so what?

Was really excited to try this place. Went with friends on Sunday to watch football. I ordered a Caesar salad and their«hand cut daily» fries. The salad tastes dirty like the lettuce wasn’t even washed, I couldn’t even eat it. The«hand cut daily» fries were obviously from the freezer, I was completely disappointed by the false advertising on their menu. I really wanted fresh crispy fries but that was not what I received. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the beer was good, can’t really mess that up. Probably won’t return anytime soon for their gross food.

What the heck have they done to Miller’s Tavern? Growing up in Hunterdon County, you knew about Miller’s Tavern. Known for their pizza and rowdy atmosphere. Also know as a great«High School» place, if you catch my drift.(HAHAHA!) I was back in the area and decided to visit and old haunt. I heard it changed ownership but they kept their pizza recipe. Upon entering the bar, we were quickly seated at a table, but we weren’t approached by a server for almost 10 minutes. When she finally showed up, she had a really bad attitude, and proceeded to «snap her gum» as she took our drink order. I ordered one of their craft beer selections, a Dale’s Pale Ale. When the drinks arrived, I took a sip of mine, and knew right away that this was not a pale ale, but instead a holiday seasonal beer. Our server had disappeared, and we had to get another waiter to get her to our table. We must’ve have interrupted her instagram posting, because she came back with even more attitude. I told her that the beer was not right, and she argued with me about it. Ok fine, maybe the wrong keg was tapped. But the bartender should know what each beer tastes like. Now if this was a bud light, miller lite, or something like that, I would’ve just dealt with it. Long story short, the waitress asked if i wanted something else, I ordered a different beer and it was perfect. Our food comes, and the pizza is still amazing!!! The sandwiches were good too! Our server never checked back on the food, or asked if I wanted another drink. To bad, the Goose Island IPA was awesome, and I might have had 1 or 2 more. When it was time to get the check, once again, our server was missing. We then went up to the bar to get the check, and actually paid for the check at the bar with the bartender. There was a table next to us, that had almost the same problems. I’m going to chalk the experience up to a waitress having a bad day. The pizza is still awesome and that’s why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1… thank god for take out, I highly doubt that I’d stay there to eat again. When it was Miller’s…as divey as it was, the service still was better! For the waitress, leave the social networking, attitude, and gum chewing at home before you go to work. I know a lunch shift isn’t always ideal for a server, but a job is a job.

There’s not much sense in sending a message to Cryan’s through Unilocal,as the owner/operator never responds…

Cryan’s(or Millers, for the locals) has been extremely busy since opening for several reasons. 1. They redid the building and it looks amazing… It truly does. Warm, inviting, and updated. 2. Their tap system keeps the beer ice cold… The coldest beer in town. I feel like if it was 1 degree cooler it would freeze lol. 3. Their food is great… They kept MIller’s signature pizza and steamers but use high quality ingredients so it’s better than ever. They have some other welcomed additions to the menu which I can’t get enough of(Cheesy Bacon Bombs!?!). However, how busy they are is beginning to be their downfall. On nights that are busy(weekends especially) their food quality drops as they try and keep up with the demand, drink wait times go up at the bar, have to park a block away, etc. If the quality of the food and drinks were consistent… I’d give them 5 stars. But until they get there, it’s a 4 star experience.
