Lenny’s is a nice addition to Clinton, even with all of the existing pizza places. The pizza is top notch… excellent hot sandwiches as well.

My office orders from here often. The overall quality of the food has improved since they have settled in. Pizza is and always has been great. The lady who takes the orders is always friendly.

Lenny’s name and store front on old 22 in downtown, historic Clinton, NJ underwhelm but the food gets 5 stars, hands down. Gourmet pizza’s and salads and fast, reliable delivery (thank you God!) have bumped this pizzeria to the top of my list. The owner’s have their thinking caps on and are serving upscale, quality, fresh, modern Italian cuisine under the guise of a pizzeria. I absolutely will be eating here regularly… what a find!

Bland is the definition of this place. As soon as we walked in the lady at the cash register recommended the paninis because they make their bread in-​house. I got the Milano which consisted of thinly sliced fried eggplant, roasted red peppers, provalone, a mayonnaise pesto, and lettuce. It was one of the most dissatisfying meals I’ve ever had and I was extremely disappointed. It came with fries which were average and their ketchup was absolutely terrible– how can you mess up ketchup? My friend got the white pizza with broccoli which was also extremely bland and undercooked, as well as the garlic knots which were boring and the marinara tasted as strange as it looked (a weird orange color). The menu is quite extensive and looks tasty at first glance and seems reasonably priced. Service was fast but I’d rather wait 5 minutes longer to have my food seasoned well. The only reason I would go back is to try their pizza and see if Lenny can redeem himself.

Food is okay. The Stromboli and ravioli are good. Caesar wrap was disgusting. I ordered delivery and the delivery guy couldn’t make change. I started counting my change and he was gone before I was done.

Best Cheese steaks in Clinton by far and I’ve had one in every pizza place in town. Staff and owners are very friendly makes you feel welcome every time and their pizzas are really great

Been here a few times, I’ve had the tomato pie, chicken panini, chicken, provolone, spinach, and garlic sub. They were all great. The other place had better meatballs. The pie’s are great if you like thin crust. The staff is great and helpful, Julia is great, and knows how to take care of the customers.

It was really delicious, it was served with fries that were excellent. I was really impressed.
I was told 20 min and I showed up 7 min after calling and it was ready. Great service great food. Thanks lenny

The Chicken Romano pizza! Get it! It’s absolutely amazing. Very expedient service and friendly employees. I have yet to try the kitchen food, but 8⁄10 on their pizza. Would go again.

I’ve been there several times. Consistently delicious pizza and fast service. The one time I ordered a pie for delivery they told me it would take 45 minutes and my pizza was at the door in 20. Also, very friendly people which is a nice change.

Not Great Pizza!
I had high expectations when Lenny’s came to town. With two other locations, you would think that they were bringing a winning recipe to town. Such is not the case. The pizza is substandard, with nothing to speak for it in any way. In fact it seemed overcooked and that was the best thing that could be said about it. There was nothing in the sauce or preparation to make me think that this was trying to be anything but a basic delivery pizza — and that’s all it was. I tried this new restaurant in hopes that it might best the local favorite, Pizza Como, but Como’s wins hands down. In short, I will not be returning to Lenny’s — a restaurant that can’t get pizza right is not to be trusted with other more complex Italian foods. I give this place 3 months unless drastic measures are taken.

I thought when this place was Goodfellas the pizza was the best and this place has taken a downgrade.
The first time I came the day the opened and the garlic knots and pizza were undercooked so I gave them a pass. I have gone 4 times now and either the order was received was wrong or to food was not up to par. I got a meatball parm and it was below average. The meatball had no taste. It was bland as many of their sandwiches were similar. They made the place smaller and it is just not the same. I think they have a lot to do to get better. I am surprised since they have other stores you would think the quality would be better.
