I’ve been wondering about this place for a while and decided to try it today. Good food & friendly.

It’s been over a year since I have last reviewed this restaurant. I haven’t ate here since late 2014. The food was good but obviously didn’t «wow» me to come back.
I’m writing this review to warn everyone about the management here. If you take time to look at people who have left negative reviews, the management replies with very, VERY unprofessional back talk. The management won’t take anything you say badly into consideration. Honestly, avoid this place.
Would you want to be served at a place management can’t even respectfully take criticism or talk to their customers respectfully? Not me.

Food has gotten better since it’s opened. They are a little pricey. But it’s a good spot to get something to eat if you are bored or McDonalds.

Apparently these are nachos… Wtf is this. This took almost 10 – 12 minutes for her to make and this… I don’t know how these people are still in business if this is what there serving… This used to be sick a nice place and I guess that’s why I’m so pissed off. From now on I’m going to go to little Italy and get my food there… At least she gave me my money back

I am on the road a lot. Eat all kinds of authentic food. But here some improvments needed. They should change the maranation of the meat, the Kofta tested like wood. Should use the basmati rice. Suggest for the owner to visit one of the mall kabob places. The owner and the lady works there are very nice.

This is my 3^rd time dining here so obviously they must be doing something right. The Lamb Kabob is BAnGin! It’ll turn your whole Monday around in a matter of minutes I’m here to tell you.

Sounds like others are having a good experience and that’s great. For me it was less than i expected. I ordered lamb kabobs and instead i was given lamb chops which were well Overdone! they were dried out and I took them home and gave to my dog.
The cooling cucumber yogurt sauce was too spicy and not cooling at all. The bread and rice were good.
As for me, i didn’t have a good experience and won’t go back.
BTW. I didn’t return it as i was with friends, took a while to get the food and I didn’t want to hold them up.

We continue to order the chicken kabobs at least once a week. The hummus is probably one of the best in the area. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous. We still feel so lucky to have this choice in Annandale!

It was ok. The rice was over cooked and the chickpeas was watery and undercooked. The chicken was good and so was the baklava.

I love eating here. Everything is so fresh and delicious. A little patience with the chef is needed but he puts great care into making his food. I am addicted and eat here 3 times a week.

Pleasant surprise. .a grilled chicken salad exactly as I like it with my choice of veggies. Two ladies ahead of me on line told me they come here for the burritos. more stuffed and cheaper than Chipotle. they love to watch the owner fold it. not an easy task. Todays baargain. gyro with fries and drink for 7.95. Comfortable. Clean bathrooms.

I put off coming here for a long time because there were a couple of really critical Unilocal reviews but boy were they wrong! The food here is made to order, super fresh, and very delicious. Kabob platters come with a salad, bread, spicy green sauce, and a side. The salads are made with whatever produce is fresh, so they vary from week to week but they are always good. As for sides, the spinach and chick peas are good and the hummus is outstanding. The meat is juicy, crispy, and well-​seasoned with zatar and other spices. And if you are in when the baklava is fresh, get it. So good!

I live walking distance to Flame Grill and absolutely love the Chicken Kabobs! Nice area to eat inside and clean! Friendly server who cooks the meal fresh! I plan to become a regular.

We were craving for some good kabob & decided to give Flaming N Grill a try. Sadly, it was a desappointment for the quality & flavor of the food. Having enjoyed kabob from other restaurants such as the former Duke Kabob & Kabob Corner, this place is nowhere comparable for quality & flavor. The chicken kabob was tough & flavorless! The service was descent from the old man, taking orders & cooking all by himself. He said 10 min but we waited close to 20 min total. Not worth the wait & will not return!

REALLY clean restaurant. We ordered their specialties and the staff worked really hard at making sure everything was made properly and service was improved compared to other reviews. It looks like they are really trying to improve from past reviews. Food was fresh and not over cooked.
Give it another shot and let us know?

Fabulous & tasty mixed grill kabobs. The long grain rice has some saffron color & makes a great side. The baba gannouj is perfect with a creamy texture & smooth tart taste. The freshly warmed bread is useful for sopping up what you can’t get onto your fork. I’m surprised they offer burgers. Loved the green spicy, cilantro, garlic sauce.
The cooks do cook to order so there will be a short wait. (Maybe 10 minutes) That’s traditionally how it is served and it ensures freshly prepared dishes.
I would advise patrons that kabobs are usually grilled to medium well so the cooks’ expertise may lean towards that end of the spectrum.

Go elsewhere, my son had the hotdog basket and I had the steak fajita burrito,
The hotdog was cooked to the point where it wasn’t recognizable and the fries were almost the same but they were ok, my burrito was nasty, the steak had been cooked hours before and was inedible so I had to settle for the chicken which was almost the same, the onions and peppers had been cooked hours prior also and were nasty,
The staff barely knew what to do, as a matter of fact one of the cooks had to run out and go purchase something possibly at the grocery store.
A waste of time and money

Burger no sides chic tenders w/​fries 2 sodas $ 18.56 and took 20 min and place was empty 2 pm on a Wed. Food we ordered okay but nothing different than DQ — go there for ½ the price same tasting product (fries are better at DQ). Too bad I wanted to like this place.
Update: ‘Owner F’ (the owner I presume) took the time to write me and 1. The owner refutes that anyone that day waited 20 min (says he looked at the ‘tapes”). 2. Said «it seems to us that you are the type of person who cannot distinguish between quality and non quality food.» 3. Asked me about the picture I took «is the ketchup container is tilted on purpose?» 4. Pointed out that his product is fresh and DQ is not. Draw your own conclusions — I stand by my review…
2^nd Update: Looking back at Omar’s (Owner) reviews Im reminded of Amy’s Baking Company on Gorden Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. If you read the owners replies to the negative reviews here, he just berates the patrons accusing them of being dishonest and wanting ‘freebies’ and not knowing food. As with my case he claims to ‘go back to the tapes’ to refute peoples wait time (s). What a tone-​deaf way to do business. Its my view that the quality of his service and food reflects this negative attitude towards patrons in general. Down-​grade to one Star.
