The parrilladas we had for Sunday dinner was delicious. The meat was prepared very well and came with rice, plantain, and yucca. The steak, chorizo, chicken were fabulous. The manager/owner was kind and personable. He greeted us with a smile and said good bye with a traditional Que te vaya bien. We will be back! Third time here. Consistent quality.

Half of the things on the menu we’re not available, food was undercooked and too salty. Way overpriced!

The Salteñas were tasty! The silpancho was not! Had no seasonings! Very bland! I had better! They could make it tastier if they wanted to! The place was clean except for the men’s bathroom, needed a good cleaning! The place is kind of dark and sad looking! They painted the outside windows black! Why?

We tried«cuadril», it is supposed to be a big, tasty and moist piece of meat. According to them it is their best steak. Ours were very dry and undercooked, clear sign is poor grilling skills and bad meat quality. It came with 2 sides: yuca frita and rice with cheese. Both were ok. The arroz con queso(rice and cheese) was good. At $ 20 the taste/cost does not cut it for me to recommend it. Place is nice and homey, service is ok, owner is friendly. Atmosphere is family oriented(at least Sunday at noon, Saturday night this place is like a disco). We asked for salteñas and they had none. They said the will star making them in house. At 3 per unit purchasing them somewhere else gives customers plenty of reasons to go to Victors Grill($ 2.75) or Panamerican($ 2.50). Maybe making them in house will lower this unreasonable price.

I tried«parrilla argentina familiar» with my family today, and it was good but not excellent. they have other way for make the«chimichurri»… It wasn’t bad. but idk if I will come back or if I will recommend this restaurant. In whole our meal they played some music too aloud… One bad point is… the prices online are different in the menu.

It used to be a good place, great food, but new management kinda screwed up a lil. saltenas are so small and taste nothing like they used to. Still an ok place though.

Hands down the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in my 26 years of life. Where do I start is the question!!! Service was the worst ever, first off it took about fifteen minutes to get our drink order taken, which was taken by the manager and is never a good sign if the manager is working. The manager took our drinks and took another 20 minutes to figure out how to make a rum/coke and piña colada cocktail. He finally starting make the rum and coke, then took like 10 minutes to have the chef cut up limes for my drink. By the time I got my drink it started to get the watered down taste. After my drink finally got to me, my fiancé’s drink took another 15 minutes. The manager didn’t know how to make it and was looking to me for reassurance during the whole process. I’ve never had a piña colada on the rocks, but today was a first for everything. Luckily, my fiancée is easy to please so of course he liked it. We ordered the saltenas appetizer and the restaurant didn’t have it, but offered to make us something similar so we compromised. Finally 45 minutes later, we get our appetizer which is like a steak and ball park frank wiener saltado. Keep in mind, we are like the only people in the restaurant besides the manager’s friends. In the whole 45 minutes the manager never took our dinner order. So finally after about an hour he takes or dinner order and another drink order, which he let me make for myself #fail, then informs us that he has to go socialize with his friends. After all that, the fire alarm goes off and the place is smoked up from the kitchen for about the 30 minutes. The firefighters come and other buildings close by are all evacuated while are just sitting at the bar. My eyes started to water due to all the smoke and I’m ready to leave, but didn’t want to leave without paying anything. I look for an atm close by, but no luck in the area. Owner says we can leave and everything is on the house. Bottom line, I would love to see this place succeed, but a lesson in customer service and professionalism is needed before I return!

I was SO happy to find this spot! The sopa de mani is the best I’ve had, after my mom’s of course! All the other local Bolivian spots just never did it justice(always too watery). I’ve never left a Unilocal review but the fact that they were serving a Sunday soup on Monday… wow I was too excited!!! Unfortunately they did not have salteñas ready at the time I went which was 2 pm but the service and attention was impeccable and the ambience was super great :) :)

Yummyyyy! Bolivian food is so good! I came here one afternoon with my little sister, who recommended this place. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice man and were immediately seated. I heard this place gets packed though, so come at werid times to avoid the rush :) but if you want to wait, its worth it! First you get some bread. Let me just give the bread its own section. Yes, its that good! The bread here is so fresh and hot, like hottttttt. Becareful not to burn your hands lol! I never rave about bread but the bread here is delicious! I asked for more, hehe don’t judge. The bread came with a spicy green sauce and butter. The sauce is spicy, just the way I like it, i feel like I could have came here for the bread and I would be happy. We ordered 1 empanada and 1 saltena. Both were amazing! I can say i have never had an empanada this good. Nice and flakey on the outside, hot and packed with flavors on the inside. I had to order more and even ordered more to take home.(Oink, Oink). The saltena was one of the best I’ve had, I ordered more of these too.(OK, I know this is a lot of food to start but we aren’t here to judge people right?) For the main course: I got silpancho and my sister got some other beef dish but it was soo good. The portions are huge! My silpancho was perfect! The egg on top and nice steamy rice sandwiching a meat patty with yuka on the side. I was so sad that I was full and had to take the rest home because I kept wanting to eat. I never take food home because if you know me, I eat a lotttt. :D I want to go back and try more of their food. All of this was 35 bucks! Great deal! The only reason its not a 5 Star review is because the service is very slow. Not because they don’t pay attention to you, they do and they are so friendly, but because the food is made to order so it takes awhile. But totally worth it! I Recommend it to everyone!

This place is very good. Very fresh food and great mojito’s! Nice size portions. Salads are fresh and meats are seasoned and cooked superbly well. This is a typical latin American restaurant. It’s filled with latinos — a good sign — the ambiance is terrific as is the service. We visited on a Sunday afternoon — it was packed and the waiters were hopping. All things considered, I highly recommend you try this place. It’s worth a visit, and yes, I will go back.

This has become my family’s weekend spot. Their menu is not huge, which we like, it has some good traditional dishes and of course the«parrillada» is decent too. Their soups are the best. The service is average unless you get the older gentleman(Willy I believe his name is). He is great and makes you feel right at home. I wish they did have a menu for kids though aside from«salchipapas». But you can always get the side short rib plus another side and your little one is good to go.

What can I say about this place… go hungry because you’ll be leaving stuffed! We got the Parrillas sampler and it was worth every single penny. The staff there are incredibly friendly and won’t put up a fuss with you if you need to substitute something out of your sampler so don’t be afraid to ask!

Got the parrilla togo. I would of given it a 4 star review if the timing they told me would of been honored. I called the order in and was told it would e ready in 20 min. Well i got there 25min later and it was still not ready. I ended up waiting for 10 to 15 min, it was a pleasant wait as the ambiance is nice. And the servers are very nice. On the parrila! I thought it was pretty good, you can tell the meats are good quality and they where cooked correctly. My complaint was the morcilla, I just though the taste was just to strong and the chinichurri lacked flavor. My husband though the same on the morcilla and felt like the chinchulin was old, i liked the chinchulin. Over all i would give it at 3.5 and will cone back, the things we didn’t like are fixable.

Came in for lunch and they have a great lunch special for soup, an entrée and drink. Yummy soup. Milanesas of chicken and steak were ok but I think that’s because it’s different than what I’m used to(they fry it with egg and I’m used to it breaded). Everything else on the plate was good though. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are very polite and attentive. Definitely would come back again for a little taste of South American food.

Service needs work but food is good which matters. Saltenas are really good but small and pricey for their size.

It isn’t the best parrilla in NoVa, but not the worst either. The steak that comes in the parrillada is too thin and tough. The short ribs should also be thicker. The rest was not bad, but not the best. The fried yuca is done well. Service isn’t all that bad… but there’s room for improvement. I find it unnecessary to have to ask for something more than once, but oh well… not much I can do about that.

It’s funny that this place has been open for about six months and there hasn’t been too many reviews about it. I came ate and I left. Nothing to remember about it hopefully they’ll survive another six months.

I ordered takeout… The Silpancho was OK. Llacua was banging. I ordered my steak well done and it was nowhere near that, even the edges were red. I couldn’t eat it. Arroz con queso was good. MAYBE I’ll give them another try with the steak. They’re a bit expensive…$ 10 for sopa de mani… Otherwise, eh. I could take it or leave it.

We went on a Saturday night and were so happy we found this place. The staff is very attentive and the food is EXCELLENT! We ordered the Parrillada Argentina Familiar, which could easily feed 4 –6 people and was WAY more than just the two of us needed. The staff was very friendly, attentive and accomadating. You can watch the meat being grilled. When we saw the cuts of steak being prepared for us, our mouths started watering. Their Saltenas were a great appetizer, delicious, and unfortunately for me, filling, as I could barely make a dent in the platter of meats that was served. Since the place is so new(only 5 weeks), it’s easy to get a table, but I suspect that word is going to get out quickly.
