Probably one of the most unknown phở shops in the plethora of Asian owned restaurants in the Annandale/Falls Church area. It’s tucked in behind Walgreens, and in the strip mall right next to Kogiya. Aside from the service(which, I mean, what do you expect. especially if you’ve grown used to the norms of Vietnamese-owned restaurants), this place is great. Their broth is very rich, more so than most places I’ve been to. Noodles are always cooked perfectly so that they don’t get too soggy as you’re eating. Meat cuts are great, and I’m super picky about mine. And all of the vegetables for toppings are always freshly washed when they reach the table. Overall, great bowl of phở. I love coming home to Northern Virginia during breaks and eating here. I’ve also tried their bun thit nuong(VERY good portion) and their goi cuon. My mom always raves about their bun bo hue, so I’m sure that’s definitely a good try as well!

I wish I could give them zero stars worse customer service ever. They are so rude and when I called to place my order I was almost done with my Order and before I could finished he hung up on me. So I go to pick up my order and I asked for extra hot sauce of course the lady gives me attitude because God forbid you ask for extra anything. I never knew asking for an extra sauce can make or break your business. Will NEVERGOTHEREAGAIN! Rude

Ever since I went back to Viet Nam and had Phở there, it’s been hard to eat Phở anywhere because it can never be as good, sad to say. The usual places I use to frequent pretty often were Phở 75 and Phở 50, but recently I decided to give Phở 24 a try. What I liked about this place is they are open later than most Phở places, which gives me time to get here on a cold day, which I find is the appropriate weather to enjoy a hot bowl of Phở. This place is easy to find, it’s in a Plaza with a few other shops like Haha Pink, Tikal Bakery, and etc. It was a pretty spacious restaurant with plenty of tables so you can sit anywhere you’d like. As usual they offer all the different types of Phở you would see on other menus. Except, I like that they do a different format where they put a list of toppings on the top and give you the option to add it. Since I’m Viet, I browse the menu but usually I don’t need to look at the menu because I just order what I normally get, either Phở Tai Nam or Phở Bo Vien. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee that comes out with the filter and a cup of ice. I must say, the coffee did not disappoint. I’m impressed because some places, give you the coffee already made… Like what??! It’s all about the experience, tbh, and I like to wait for the coffee to finish dripping, and then mix it to my liking as it can be too sweet if I mix it with all of the condensed milk. The coffee was dark and was perfect, not too sweet or too bitter. Anyways back to the Phở. It came out after a reasonable amount of time. My friend ordered the Bun Bo Hue. She said they make it pretty decent there. From the reviews, I saw that other people said the same. I tried some of hers and I thought it was okay haha, but nothing beats homemade! The phở was great! The broth was well done, and there was enough meat. Some places, I notice, do not give you enough meat, so by the time you get halfway done with your bowl, you’re out of meat. I like my phở with a lime, and some Sriracha sauce, and of course it was available at the table. They also bring out the toppings like bean sprouts, leaves, and jalapeños. The service was great! The lady that took our order was very nice and helpful. She brought out the order too, and was consistent on checking to see if we were doing okay. Other than that, when they were about to close, I made another order to-go for some Bun Bo Hue for my mom, and the lady took my order and was totally cool about it. I really appreciated it, because I know how it can be when you want to just close up and go home. Well I’m glad that I’ve finally found a decent place to eat Phở in Annandale. There have been many Phở places that opened up but there was always something off. Definitely coming back whenever I’m craving Phở :)

Bun Bo Hue was just OK. Doesn’t really have any spicy to it, but they give you a lot of soup, in a giant bowl. My husband had the Bo Kho and it was surprising good. If we come back, it would be for Bo Kho, definitely not the bun bo hue. I read that one of the reviewers said the bun bo hue was one of the best around. I guess that person has never been to any places in Eden Center, which has way better options even if I don’t consider them the best I’ve had.

This is sad but I believe this place is the worst phở place ever. I’m sure they straight up using a soup cube with hot water to make the broth or they don’t know how to cook. The broth doesn’t taste like phở broth at all. It tasted like hot water and some flavored packet soup base. Did not enjoy the phở here, if you are planing to visit just go the Phở Hai Duong around the corner. They served authentic Phở.

My go to phở place. Flavorful broth that is not very oily(better than Phở 75 and Phở Hot) and good ratio of noodles to meat. Very generous with the additional toppings(bean sprouts, jalapenos, etc.) Ample seating to accommodate larger groups or families.

My fiancé and I always eat phở elsewhere in annandale. Until we always drive pass this one. So we decided to give it a try. The moment we walk in we were sitter and got our menu. We look at the phở menu and we got number 4. I add meatballs to mine. Additional of course. It wasn’t too long when we got our phở. We waited at least 5 minutes. The herbs and veggies was fresh and great quantity. I always try the broth before adding. This broth us fresh and delicious. Not like some other places I’ve tried that use package made broth. My fiancé and I are very foodie type of people. I would so recommend this place. Atmosphere is clean nice and quick. Oh! And the ice coffee is awesome. Can never go wrong! This is our to go phở from now on.

I’ve been coming here for a while and have loved the phở. Best in the area. Their service is crap but I haven’t really put my any thought to it till recently. I ordered a phở to go and said no onions and replace it with cilantro instead, they charge me extra. What? They close at 11 and I recently wanted to do a dine in and I came at 10:40, they gave me a weird look and the guy that was cleaning the table told me to sit down. When I looked up to order the person at the cashier told me that they turned off everything for the night and is only doing carry out. There’s still 20 mins left and the guy told me to sit down. So I had to get up and leave and I came with a group of 6. Guess they didn’t want our money or to obey the hours that they set. It was disappointing and I’ll think twice before eating here again. I’m only giving them the 3 stars because the Phở is good, but don’t do the spicy beef soup or rice, phở hai duong near by is way better, more food options and better service.

Service was not good. I went in with my husband and 2 kids. They gave us 2 glasses of water 3 utensils and 3 small plates. Really there was 4 of us. We ordered one fresh lumpia, one fried lumpia, chicken lemongrass, spicy beef bowl and the phở 24. I was not impressed. Fresh lumpia was good. Fried lumpia was oozing oil. Chicken lemongrass had no trace of lemongrass. It tasted more like chicken teriyaki. Spicy beef bowl looked like a bunch of meat scraps that was not wanted but needed to be used before it got bad. It was not spicy and didn’t really have a taste. Phở 24 was decent. Overall the person never checked in on us and we were the only ones there. No tip and never coming back.

Ordered the bun thit nuong(rice vermicelli noodles with grilled pork). It was a bit pricier than other places I’ve been to but because it was a larger portion I didn’t mind at all. It was delicious and i ended finishing it all! I would definitely come back again!

Okay, what can I say. I am freaking ADDICTED to phở. I go almost every week. Without fail, my staple weekend meal. I have had my fair share of delicious phở, and my fair share of not-so delicious phở. For me, this place hits the spot. The soup comes out piping hot and it’s nicely flavored. The place is big, and I’ve never seen a crowd, so you most likely won’t have to wait. What more can I say. All phở is NOT created equal, so if you haven’t tried this place out yet, I’d suggest you do. If you hate it, maybe our taste buds just aren’t the same. :P I’ll definitely be back. Until I get past the addiction(who knows when that will be, or if it’ll EVER happen)

Came here because we had a coupon and felt like giving it a try. The phở is standard. I got the #7 Tai. Broth is lacking a bit in flavor but the meat was tender. The spring rolls were SO good, wish I ordered 2 plates instead of just 1. The reason this place gets 3 stars is because the service was atrocious. The lady stood looking at us for a good 5 minutes before she approached our table to ask what we wanted to drink. The staff also congregated in a circle and ate phở and seemed annoyed when we came up to the front to pay. The parking lot is also not very good. Full and clustered.

I had the phở here, soup was pretty good flavor and came with a lot of meat! :) I ordered a large and it was a good amount. Service was kind of slow when we first sat down. It took them forever to even bring out the water, but I honestly didn’t expect much.

Savory and fresh Phở dishes packed with choice cuts of meat; fresh sides(sprouts, basil, lemon grass and peppers). I’ve been back a few times and I haven’t had problems. This phở place ranks up there with my top five. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and bright interior. Clean bathroom with a giant crayon! Really! This place does make nice phở, garden rolls, spring rolls in a nice atmosphere. They have a bigger menu than other phở restaurants as they offer rice and vermicelli dishes as well. I haven’t had the ants or the yucky veggies since my last review. Whew!

Warning: This review is for the restaurant as a whole and one of their less popular menu options: the vegetarian phở. I came to Phở 24 because this is now my dad’s go-to phở restaurant, and he is SERIOUS about his phở. The man can eat phở every single day of the week. He considers phở one of the best dishes in the world. He is also a very picky phở eater, and he will never settle for anything less than exceptional phở. The phở landscape in this area is rather sad. Most people will settle for mediocre phở, and there are more so-so and bad ones than good ones in the DC metropolitan area. Anyway, so what was I doing in a phở place if I don’t eat meat? Well Tom N. does. And he said the Phở 24’s phở was an «8÷10.» You’re going to have to read his review for the full report. As for me, I got the vegetarian phở. Most of the time, the business cheats – same broth(beef bone-based) and no meat. Here they actually do use a vegetarian broth. My bowl had plenty of broccoli, some cabbage, and fat chunks of tofu. I’m glad that they were generous with the broccoli, though I wish they had added carrot for color and more interest. It was very soothing and delicious. Also would have liked a little more salt, but they managed to make good use of the vegetables’ flavors. Besides the vegetarian phở, there really aren’t many other options for people who don’t eat meat. I think it’s expected, as this is the norm in most phở restaurants. Now onto the service – I appreciated how the server asked me if I wanted raw or cooked bean sprouts. That’s nice to consider. Most of the time you just have to ask for it, so it’s nice that this woman thought of it. The owner/manager thanked us as we left; that’s always nice. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and spacious. They must like this Vietnamese singer, Minh Tuyet, because it was one Minh Tuyet song after another. I like her voice, too, so this is not a complaint. In sum, you should give this place a try if you’re serious about phở.

The phở here is soo good! The phở broth has a nice complex flavor that you can’t find at most phở places in the area. The soup had a good amount of onions, thicker than most places, and a lot of green onions. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is clean, even the bathroom was super clean. This place accepts credit cards, so no need to worry about going to the ATM beforehand.

Officially a flop for me. Iced coffee came out overly sweet because it had too much condensed milk and barely any black coffee. My phở did not come out piping hot like it used to & the broth was too oily & salty. Summer rolls were flimsy and the noodle to veggie and shrimp ration was just ridiculous. Sigh…

Another Papa V and daughter lunch date with Reagan era pricing. I begged and begged for him to take me to Phở Sate but as usual he insisted on going to his new favorite hot spot(he has a new one every week… if Unilocal allowed reviews in Vietnamese he would be given a black badge in a heart beat). «Phở Sate is for amateurs,» he laughed heartily as he drove the back roads to a non-descript shopping center I have never heard of in Annandale. I ordered my usual phở tai. He, the Bun Bo Hue(did I mention he also thinks eating phở in general is for amateurs?!?). It was about 11:00 in the morning and my broth was full of rich beef flavor and aromatic herbs. Not too different from of my other favorite places around town except for the the following caveats: 1) They accept credit cards(Mastercard/Visa only) 2) A bowl of phở is only $ 5.95 at lunch time, Monday through Friday. Phở is already one of the cheapest, heartiest deals around but at this price… they are practically giving it away! Thanks to my Dad for showing me another hidden gem and proving that he will always be more underground and hipster than me.

I did a nearby search from the AudreyMoore and found this place yesterday. I suppose this is why we experience good customer service. I was in the mood for shrimp phở and the closest thing on the menu was shrimp, calamari & scallop phở — I ordered this sans calamari with a couple of rolls. Not too bad. My friend was pleased with his lemongrass beef with vermicelli rice and spring rolls. The beef was pretty good — a hint of a garlicy sweetness with just a tad of bit of heat. When we arrived, they had a handful of customers so the place was not too busy. Overall, it was not a bad experience.
