This smallish play area is located in the Truxton Park Recreation Center, in the basement by the daycare. It has levels and tunnels for climbing and the very cool feature foam ball firing air cannons to shoot from the upper levels. There are a number of other features that use the foam balls that dominate the center of this play area, including a basket that dumps balls from a collection at the top, and a central ‘mortar’ that can be filled with balls and fired with the press of a button. It can get a little loud, so younger ones may be uneasy. But the balls are light enough that they won’t get hurt. There is also a slide and a smaller area for little kids. Ideal age is probably between 3 and 6, but other kids would have fun too. I certainly did while playing with my daughter. Good indoor activity when it’s cold, too hot, or rainy. It does cost money, I think $ 6 or $ 8 a kid. Parents are free,
