Corned beef is kind of tasteless. Not worth the high price. $ 20 for a sandwich, small fry and a soda. Don’t mind the price if the food is good, but it’s so-so. Corned beef row in Baltimore is the place, fair prices for a great tasting product

We biked from BWI to Annapolis on the B&O trail and stopped at The Market place for lunch. We had never been there before, but Carl’s looked good, so we gave it a try. My wife and I each had a turkey sandwich and our friend had a ham and cheese. All were delicious! Prices were reasonable and portions were generous. We had a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. This not fast food; the sandwiches are all made fresh to order. I would ride another 50 miles to eat there again!

Ok so this location is inside the Market House downtown. They have sandwiches and an easy going menu. My sandwich took a while, but I hope it’s because the employee was learning still. Food is sufficient and if there is seating you have a great view of Ego ally.

We stopped by the Market House after walking around Annapolis. I have to say that the food was great especially the corner need from Carls. We will be back and keep up the good work!

Food is good. Sandwiches are big and made fresh. Used to go often but they won’t even give you a cup of water anymore. I guess it’s bottled water or soda only. Just seems cheap.

My husband took my Living Social coupon to the Market House to redeem it for me. I figured he’d be bringing back two sandwiches for the $ 16 value. Nope, he hadn’t realized it was for $ 16(the coupon had noted a «$ 8 promotional value») and bought a single sandwich for us to share. He paid a little for tax(and possibly the excess value of the sandwich — he didn’t know, but was trying to stay under $ 8). The employee at the business never pointed out that he was using the voucher for significantly less than its value — technically legal but a pretty shady business practice in my book! The sandwich itself tasted pretty good but the employee’s behavior left a bad taste in my mouth.

Stopped in to Markethouse for a sandwich on one of the first nice days in Annapolis in quite awhile. Reuben was perfect! I asked for sandwich easy on the dressing and easy on the saurkraut– and it was made to perfection. My husband had ordered a crabcake from a neighboring stall and got a teeny-not that great sandwich. He was staring at mine with envy.

I was out for a Sunday afternoon on a beautiful day in Annapolis, remembered that I had a Living Social voucher to use in the Market House, so I stopped in. Carl’s Corned Beef & Deli was the first vendor I came to, so I stopped there. The menu is limited, and all you get for your $ 7 is just a sandwich, no chips or anything. The service was slow, it appears that they only have one two-slice toaster to toast the bread, so when the place is busy it backs up fast. As for the food, it’s just OK. Typical deli sandwiches, which is fine but nothing to make me just crave it and want to go back. They do have a hot bar where you can pick up wings, soups, etc. but I opted for the sandwich. Maybe I’ll go one more time and try the wings… maybe not.

Carl’s Deli is an amazing addition to the new Annapolis Market House. I must say that I had the best New York Style corned beef and pastrami sandwich on rye bread today that I have had since my days in New York. Amazingly tender, served to perfection with a great kosher pickle on the side.. Much better than other deli fare in Annapolis and arguably better than anything between Annapolis and NYC. Staff was attentive, polite and gracious. Carl was there making sure everything was done just right. Wishing him all the luck in the world and confident that he will be a huge success and a great addition to the deli offerings in Annapolis!
