Kevin & Mike’s Fries

I have never written on Unilocal but this place warrants it. I feel a victim of RAPE and EXTORTION. No lie, the worst restaurant I have ever been to. This restaurant should be renamed «CANBELL» Kevin and «ICEY» Mikey because ALL the food came from a can or was frozen.
The guy cleaning the oysters cut his hand because he wasn’t using a glove. He put the one knife down, used another knife and continued to clean the oysters with his cut hand. After he was done, he then went in the back to bandage his hand. When he came out he had a plastic glove over that hand.
The french fries were not fresh and were dry. They probably cut them on Monday and then refroze them and used them for the rest of the week.
The crab cake sandwich was watery and filled with artificial crab and filler.
The cream of crab soup came from a can.

Fair warning, these crab cakes are NOT good, definitely not what you’d expect when ordering in Maryland. From the texture i think they were mostly claw meat. There was one lump in mine. Lots of filler too. The fried oysters were tiny and the batter was very salty. My husband couldn’t finish them and I normally like everything. I put one in my mouth and had to spit it in my napkin because it was so gross. The Pepsi was good. Glad we got that to cleanse my mouth after tasting that disgusting oyster. The fries were ok, some were undercooked. For $ 25 lunch, we are still hungry and are going to find an established local place for lunch part 2 since part 1 ended up mostly in the trash. We are thinking this is mainly a place for tourists that don’t know any better. If you’ve never had a crab cake before you might think it’s acceptable. But if you are from Maryland, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Excellent crab cake. But heinously overpriced, and the cheap bastard behind the counter wouldn’t give me a cup for water. «We don’t have cups for water.» Right. Only for soda. Also overpriced.

I can honestly say that was the worst crab cake I have ever had. Counter person complained about his coworkers the whole time. Hubby got the chicken tenders and said they were nothing special.

I would have given three stars if not for the cost of a medium fry. With tax it was close to $ 8.00. That’s $ 4 less than a lobster roll at Mason’s! Holy moly, did we want the fries to match the price tag. Unfortunately, though they were hand cut, fried twice and were nicely browned the fries were limp! Nobody wants a soggy spud. We will not get fries from here again. Sorry Kevin & Mike.

The crab cake sandwich was not the greatest and not the worst. The employees to be concentrating on flirting with each other than attending the customers.

My favorite fast food place in downtown Annapolis. I get their crab-​cake sandwich with fries and a drink for $ 12. The crab-​cake is very generous for the price, not to mention delicious.

Hand cut Idaho potatoes fried in peanut oil and served in three different sizes. Absolutely delicious and they have Old Bay, vinegar and ketchup to top it all off.
