It’s it wonderful when you have to incur an unexpected expense? It’s especially joyful when you have to do so for an item that you use every second of every day like an iPhone. YAY for me! :/
After shattering my iPhone’s glass screen last Friday, I was on the hunt to get it fixed ASAP. I called a few of those «come to you» services, but no one ever answered the phone. Then I remembered seeing some signs at the mall and decided to search online, make a few calls, and compare prices. One store offered to fix it for $ 85 with a 6-​month guarantee and another for $ 69 with a 90 day guarantee. Since I plan on upgrading my phone to the iPhone 6 when it comes out in September, I figured I’d go with the cheaper option and take my chances.
On the way to that store, however, I happened upon Cellairis’ kiosk. The cell phone cases are what caught my eye, but then I saw that they too fixed screens. The man operating the kiosk store said he could fix it up for $ 60 and have it done in under an hour. SWEET! Throw in a cell phone case for $ 20 and I was good to go.
He did a pretty good job. My «on/​sleep» button is slightly off center, but nothing that anyone would notice but me and everything is in great working order. Plus, this one came with a 90 day guarantee as well. Can’t beat that. Definitely stop on by should the need arise!
