This is an ok place to grab a sandwich or a slice of pizza while you visit the Naval Academy. The food and the prices are decent but nothing spectacular. Service is typical of fast food joints… uninterested.

Fast convenient food if you’re at USNA. Bland tuna salad sandwich. Chewy pizza. Soda fountains have a bit too much carbonation(so you have to pour, wait for the fizz to die down, pour, wait, pour). I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there.

Mmmmm Muelheisen’s. It’s cafeteria style with microwaves and deep fryers, so don’t set the bar high. It’s the only place to eat on the Naval Academy if you aren’t a midshipmen or a member of the Naval Academy Club.

If you’re looking for good service, don’t go here; you’re not going to find it. If you’re looking for good food, you have a couple options: A Muelheisen sandwich, a corned-beef sandwich, or drydock pizza. Don’t be fooled, the pizza dough isn’t fresh(its contracted), and the top is greasy, but its pretty tasty, even by college-food standards. The atmosphere is nice — ordering is relatively quick and the dining room is adorned with Navy-paraphernalia. Keep this place on the back-burner if you happen to be visiting the Naval Academy. Don’t make a special trip here, because there really isn’t anything to scream about, but if you get hungry after watching midshipmen, its convenient and quick.
