Great food. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Location can be a pain depending on time you’re going, but worth the hassle.

Great space. It really looks like a proper Irish pub. Great staff too, always ready to help. I can’t wait for the new Geeks Who Drink Quiz night that starts Wednesday. Another great reason to hang out at this fabulous place.

Perfect brunch spot for the day after USNA Homecoming. Great food, well-crafted Bloody Marys, and both Premier League footie AND Championship rugby on the TVs around the bar! Menu is heavy on Irish traditional dishes(boxty, colcannon) with plenty of New World spins(Guinness wings, Harp-battered fish tacos), all well-prepared, fresh, and very tasty. I’d imagine that this place gets a little raucus on a Saturday night … but it’s probably mad fun, too. Highly recommended if you’re near one — they’re in DC, Chicago, Philly, and a few other cities. If you’re a rugby or footie fan, you NEED to check Fado out =)

Nice bar spot to watch football, rugby, or soccer games. Gets ramped up and loud fyi. Great brunch deal. Only improvement I could suggest is to bring the mimosas automatically instead of asking each time

The fish tacos, siracha wings, jalapeño puffs, fish and chips, sliders and braised lamb are all GREAT! Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good solid food at decent prices. The waiter was awesome as well. Irish accent and all. They have a DJ tonight that is really doing a great job. I do not like the idea of walking in and no one greeting or seating you but the waiter came to our table in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely return.

Had an excellent experience at Fado’s tonight. Place was lively, food was good and service was excellent. We come here every so often and it is especially fun when the weather is nice and we can sit on the sprawling patio and listen to live guitar music. tonight I had the Fado Rueben and girlfriend had the fish and chips. Both just as they were billed and while not gourmet, were excellent and good value. One of the highlights was our server Deidre who was enthusiastic, knowledgeable about the menu and guided our decisions on dinner and beer. She checked on us regularly with a big, pleasant smile and she clearly likes her job. I hope Fado management appreciates what they have in her. We will be back

Annapolis Restaurant Week 2015 After looking over all the Restaurants menu’s online this year for Annapolis Restaurant week we decided to give Fado’s a whirl The advertised menu for dinner looked good. A call in advance re handicap parking asking them if they have an agreement with the garage at Park Place for stamped or free parking turned up a NO sorry. But you can park on West street if you can find parking or in the adjacent neighborhoods. Parking enforcement won’t ticket if you park after 4pm as your allowed to park for up to 2 hrs and they end patrol at 6pm. Okay wow that can be quite a hike for handicap elder in the nasty frozen snow and ice. We arrived early 5 pm during happy hour. Very noisy upon entering we were greeted by a young gal who told us to find ourselves a seat anywhere we like. So we sat in the back 40 away from the loud happy hour folks near the bar area. She then brought us the Restaurant week menu, the reg menu and drinks menu. She advised us that we could choose any appetizer from Restaurant week menu or regular menu(which has be redesigned and is a bit confusing to follow) We were greeted by a friendly gent who introduced himself as our waiter. We asked for clarification on which appetizers could we have from the reg menu included in our RW special. No much on menu if your vegetarian or don’t do beef pork or fish. Next we ordered the free glass of champagne that came with the meal vs Red or White wine. Waiter recommended not the house champagne but this pre bottled I think he said .We found it to be bubbly and light. Next we placed our order for the Appetizer and Entrée and we thought wed hold off on desert till we got going … Shortly thereafter we were served a fantastic large good tasting Pear and Blue Cheese Salad mixed greens chunks of blue cheese with candied pecan oranges, poppy seed dressing etc Found it to be tasty and colorful. The place remained rather dead with only a few patrons for dinner we noted in the 2 hrs we spent there. About half way into our salads we found our main entrees arriving. Wow not much time to work on the salad but ok . We ordered from the RW specials Corned Beef & Cabbage and Blackened Chicken & Shrimp Boxty. They arrived steamy hot . Corned beef tasty with red potatoes cabbage a wee under cooked and crispy, The Boxty was like a large breaded thing stuffed with chunks of chicken rice mushrooms buried in cheese. not sure where shrimp were. very mild not to spicy. Looked appetizing although rather bland tasting . Our waiter asked us if wed like to order desert now and we thought that based on the entrée piling on top of the appetizer so quickly wed better hold off and order when we were caught up or wed have a hot desert at our table with coffee as well ! Another glass of bubbly was offered but we were so stuffed at this point we declined Next to package up ½ the salad and ½ entrée .then unto ordering desert . We had been ravishing for the crème brûlée cheese cake wed heard all about Our waiter told us all about how they had sampled all the RW foods earlier today so they would know what they tasted like and they had a new menu as well . We decided to order the Hot Rhubarb Tart and crème brûlée cheesecake. A few minutes later waiter arrived with bad news. They’re new signature crème brûlée cheesecake was not going to be available till near end of the week .Oh wow how disappointing we had saved room for that all day ! So we ordered Rhubarb Tart and Chocolate Brownie with Guinness ice cream. They arrived hot and warmed. Rhubarb Tart came with side dish of we weren’t sure what turned out it was like a rhubarb liquid .not really needed The dish was a nice blend and hot and tasty The Chocolate Brownie warm heavy with Guinness ice cream on top .1st time trying it I would say it was okay … By the end of our 2 hrs we noted a couple of patrons in to eat dinner and loud group planing meeting of sort for St Patty’s day was beside us and the bar was rather calm and quiet as happy hour was over … Food was reasonable, presented well, tasty, good portion sizes for value, service polite yet inattentive to our dining, a bit to too rushed with the food and ordering most likely because the waiter was working bar patrons etc at same time. Prices on main menu looked reasonable. Unfortunately no free parking. Private pay parking is available under ground in Park Place as navigating in dark back to our Van in snow and ice for aging handicap not safe nor recommended !

I’m a Guinness drinker in the winter time and my wife and I decided to come check out this restaurant when we heard they import theirs from Ireland. Had a great time at this location… the beer was worth it. The appetizers were a bit fancier than what we are normally used to but they were great and reasonably priced at that! It looks like a great place to catch a soccer, ruby or UFC fight at.

Still love this place, but apparently the garage owners got wise & put in an automated pay machine. So no more late night free parking. :(

We got seated and waited 25 minutes without even a «I see you, be right with you!» So we left. There were 3 servers near our section and it wasn’t busy. Ridiculous.

I went out to Annapolis for brunch and I wanted to try one of the famous breakfast places nearby, well i didn’t realize how popular the first place was until i got there and the wait for one was an hour! So i wandered around to see what was on the brunch menu at an Irish Pub. Now don’t get me wrong breakfast at a place thats famous for Corned Beef and Guinness scared the mess out of me but I was hungry so i figured I would give it a shot. I did play it safe and ordered an omelet and a mimosa(they have bottomless mimosas!) and Im glad i did! The omelet was awesome and it was a beautiful day so i got to sit and enjoy my breakfast outside. The waitstaff seemed a little strained which was odd since it was early and there wasn’t many people around but they were super nice and helpful with anything i needed. I will return to see what their dinner is like since their breakfast dish was so amazing.

We stumbled in here one evening looking for french fries, and we weren’t disappointed. The fries were crispy and wonderful, and the sauce options made it fun! I don’t remember the drinks, but I think they were decent. One thing, though– the live music was horribly loud. Some people were really enjoying it, but I’m certain they either already had or were going to have hearing damage. We had to sit in the very, very back to even be able to hear each other scream. My stomach thanked me but my ear drums did not. I’ll have to try coming here during the day to check it out. The food seems good, and they have a nice patio area to take advantage of during nice days.

This place is great to watch any soccer match, but outside of that it’s not worth seeing. I love soccer, and the soccer crowd is second to none anywhere I’ve been. Truly legit fans here. But otherwise, the food isn’t great, the drinks are OK, the atmosphere is Blah. There are much better options in Annapolis for an Irish pub

We ate here while visiting Annapolis for my son’s hockey tournament. The servers quickly and promptly served a large group(including 14 loud and obnoxious 11 year old boys!). Fish and Chips were outstanding. Kids loved their mini sliders. Would go back again. How can I not give 4 stars, they served Smithwicks!

If you like rowdy Irish bars, c’mon down. A friend and I came over here on a Sunday morning after breakfast at Miss Shirley’s because we needed wi-fi and Miss Shirley’s doesn’t have wi-fi. This first question out of greeter’s mouth was«Are you here for the game?» 10:00 on a Sunday morning? What game? Oh! Soccer. There was a soccer game. The place was filling up fast and the fans were louder than any NFL fans I’d ever heard. We just had coffee(we had just eaten breakfast next door) and Guinness but the place was hoppin’. Nice atmosphere(for an Irish bar), the waitress was plenty attentive and friendly. Prices were reasonable. I liked it!
