Food was awesome! I had the Spicy Eggplant with rice, and added crispy duck. The duck was still tender and moist, the spice on the eggplant was just nice, not overly spicy hot. Great atmosphere and service was excellent!

Lunch today at Lemongrass was excellent. The indoor seating area is plentiful, and the outdoor patio like area can also seat a good 15 or so people. The Chicken Thai Wrap was phenominal. Served on leaves of lettuce, it is also a very healthy and light meal. The Tofu Soup was really good as well. Tofu, Vegetables, and Broth. The Pad Pik Khing Chicken was really, really good. A nice serving of Chicken, Vegetables, and White Rice. Lemongrass has an entire row of Lunch pricing for each portion, as well as a Dinner pricing. The restaurant is conveinantly located on West Street and has ample Street or Garage parking nearby. Definitely a must try if you’ve never been.

Great Food, Slow Service and Cold servers, Very Loud and tight space! Ambiance: We went to this place after a long run around the Annapolis harbor. We have to wait 30 mins for the table and when we were given one, it was on patio. It would have been okay during summer but it was pretty chilly that day so we waited another half an hour to be seated inside. It was really crowded and cramped and tables are pretty close to each other. The whole area was so loud that we were having a hard time hearing each other. Service: The service was super slow. We ordered our food and drinks and served our drinks like 10 minutes after ordering. we waited for good 20 minutes then the server brought the food which wasn’t ours. After our denial he figured out that it actually belonged to the table next to ours. we waited another 15 minutes unit our food was served. Food: After waiting what felt like ages, we got our Red Curry and veggie drunken noodles. Let me tell you that the food was mouth watering. The curry was really fragrant and fresh and noodles were not stick neither oily. It was the best drunken noodles I had so far. So the three stars are entirely for food. I recommend by-passing the terrible ambiance and turtle paced service by ordering take-out!

I came here with my boyfriend for my last farewell dinner in Annapolis. Parking here was easy to find behind the houses. They let you park for 2 hours if you aren’t a resident in the town. We came in around dinnertime. It wasn’t too packed but once our food started coming, it became busy. We ordered tempura string beans and the fried calamari for appetizers. The fried calamari was fried to a crisp. It was delicious. The tempura string beans were good but you should eat them as fast as you can. If it is left in the sauce soaking, the fried part become soggy so it doesn’t stay good. We ordered the drunken noodles and the pad thai. The pad thai was a bit dry in my opinion(from pad thai I’ve had at other places) but maybe it was just my pad thai? Everyone seems to rave about it. The drunken noodles were better and it was enough to fill me up.

Rude staff. We didn’t order two appetizers. We ordered one. But when they brought both out and we stated we didn’t order the second appetizer they didn’t believe us. Stated,“it is ordered that you got this. Do you want it?” The tone incredibly rude. Continued to be rude through the rest of the meal. Would not go back. Learn to treat paying customers appropriately.

Honestly, we stumbled upon this restaurant browsing through Unilocal. It was a great choice for dinner, we came in around 6 and it wasn’t too crowded and got seated immediately. The restaurant looks nice from the outside and has some fancy yet simple décor inside. My lady and I ordered the tempura string beans, fried calamari, drunken noodles and pad thai. Our favorite was the drunken noodles, just the right amount of salt and spice to balance the basil goodness. The fried calamari was fresh and fried to perfect crisp, it worked well with the sweet and spicy sauce. We don’t think we will order the tempura string beans again, it came out soggy in the sauce so it just tasted like a greasy sauted string beans. The pad thai was not the best pad thai which I think was mainly due to the dish being a little on the dry side. Overall, the staff was very attentive and the food came out super quick.

Delicious Pad Thai, good wine, reasonable prices, kind service. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their cocktails! A little tight space, but worth it for the great food. Thanks Lemongrass!

This is the best thia food restaurant in Annapolis, Croton, Bowie, arundel county area. You can go next door and grab a drink if there is a wait, you can even bring that drink to the restaurant if they call you. It’s small but the service is quick and the food comes out of the kitchen even quicker. It’s affordable and the drinks are on the cheaper side. Definitely check this place out if you are interesting in thia!

I ate here last year and went out on a limb from my usual Thai ordering and ended up getting a fish entrée. It was just alright.

Well this is my first time here. I arrived at 12:50 and the time is 1:28 and I have not yet received my food. Others have came behind me and got there food and I order white rice and panange curry. The server came to say the food was coming but 6 mins as gone by. So the wait time was greater than 30 mins now. Terrible customer service. I wouldn’t never come here again. I was late going back to my seminar. I was about to cancel my order than it was brought out. Ridiculous !! I should have went to the other location !! Food taste good. But service made it distasteful. there was a older lady to my right that they inform her the girl at the front desk covered her lunch. Smh I shook my head. And got to my seminar at 2:00pm i arrived there at 12:50 wow

On the whole, I think Lemongrass is pretty good, but mostly, I just love having the option to eat Thai food downtown. They offer a lunch combo special, but it’s poorly advertised – not on the menu, not on the website or carryout menu, but only on the little table card in the restaurant. Going off of memory here, I believe it was somewhere around $ 10 and I got a little serving of crispy green beans, tom yum soup and pad thai. I’ve also gotten carry-out drunken noodles which were pretty good. The dining room is very small, but the ambiance is chic and cozy. The location is a bit inconvenient if you’re coming from the Statehouse or City Dock area or driving in and need to find parking, but it’s definitely walkable and easy to find.

Bottom Line: Good Thai food, friendly staff and a quaint atmosphere. I landed at Lemongrass in search of a restaurant near downtown Annapolis that was vegetarian friendly. Although the restaurant interior is small, the flavors here are big. With such a varied menu it can be a little overwhelming picking out a dish but I found the staff to be helpful in making recommendations. I ended up sharing the Crispy String Beans and Drunken Noodles. Both were very good and not too spicy. Overall, the staff was very welcoming and attentive. Since this is on West Street, the parking options are either to find a spot on the street or to park in the adjacent Knighton garage. Lemongrass does not validate for parking but it only costs about $ 2 to park in the garage. If you want to avoid paying to park then checkout Lemongrass Too on Housely Road.

This place got great reviews, and it seems like a lot of people enjoy going here. However, it wasn’t what we were looking for. Quick take: American Thai joint that seemed to be run by hippies. Peanut butter saucin’ it!

Mediocre review for one of my most frequented places in Maryland? Yeah, most of my visits were purely based on convenience and the majority of them were takeouts. I used to always get the sauteed beef and string beans and it was tasty enough while I chowed down a quick lunch before heading back to work. The staff was always friendly and the food could be ready within 15 minutes if not less. There’s always a nice little patio on the grass and from what I heard a decent happy hour. The food is what I think typical Americanized Thai food found at suburban strip mall Thai restaurants. Simplified dishes with a protein and veggie of choice, and deprived of the fragrant and flavorful spices and condiments of great Thai cuisine. But that’s good enough for Annapolis, I suppose; and it’s in a good location where you can walk down West Street and down to the harbor.

Why haven’t I reviewed Lemongrass sooner? As if this isn’t one of my favorite spots for lunch! Drunken Noodles, I love thee! Seriously. Lemongrass is a small restaurant but I’ve never had to experience the crowding that other reviewers have mentioned because I’ve always gone for lunch in the middle of the day in the middle of the week. So with that, I suggest to avoid crowds, go during the middle of the week for lunch. My favorite, favorite, FAVORITE dish from Lemongrass is the Drunken Noodles with chicken. I absolutely LOVE it. It’s spicy but it has this weird hint of sweetness from the basil. It is my most favorite thing from here and I can’t say it enough. Some other dishes that I’ve tried are the Pad Thai with Shrimp and the Pineapple Fried Rice. The Pad Thai wasn’t the best that I’ve had but it was still good. The Pineapple Fried Rice is delicious too. I want to try other things but those noodles… those Drunken Noodles keep calling me back. Thanks to all you other reviewers out there in Unilocal land, I now realize that Lemongrass offers happy hour. So one day, I’m going to have to make my Lemongrass trip after work instead of during the middle of the work day.

We ordered the crispy beans, the cashew chicken and masama curry. The place was packed but we were seated immediately because we chose to sit at the long communal table inside. I had a Thai beer but my friend ordered a beer from the craft beer menu which was small but impressive. The crispy beans were good and had a bit of spicy kick. We seemed to have waited a long time for the main course. The two dishes came with bowls of rice. I couldn’t stop eating the curry dish even though I was full. It was that good. I would order it again. The cashew chicken dish was a bit disappointing. The chicken chunks were coated but were dry on the inside and cold. I wouldn’t order it again. The portions were big and we didn’t finish either dish. The check came right away.

When you have the craving for Asian noodles, Thai food is sure to hit the spot. I had dinner plans with a friend in Annapolis and whining about the lack of noodles in my life. Fortunately, she knew where I could get my Thai fix and suggested Lemongrass because she was craving crispy string beans. Okay — I was sold. When we were seated, we started with an order of the Crispy String Beans. The string beans were lightly battered and deep-fried then stir fried with chili, garlic, and five-spice. These were delicious! I liked that it was cooked into the sauce as opposed to dipping the string beans like French fries. I can see why my friend suggested ordering these. My friend ordered Shrimp Pad Thai. The pad thai was very good, but it was the traditional dish, nothing particularly exemplary. But that’s a good thing, we were in the mood for basic noodle dishes after all. I like when my food has a little kick, so I ordered the Chicken Drunken Noodles. The wide noodles were awesome and held onto most of the spicy flavor. The menu listed the dish as a ‘two chili spice level’ which was fine for me, but if you’re a spice addict, you may want to ask for them to turn up the heat. When the noodle crave hits again and I’m in Annapolis, you bet I’ll be heading back to Lemongrass for some more noodles and those delicious crispy string beans.

Good thai. Worth a try. Friendly, prompt service during a weekday lunch. Spring rolls had plenty of basil and greens(not just vermicelli noodles), but the shrimp was small. Drunken noodle was a unique dish worth trying, mostly meat and veggies interspersed with wide, short noodles. I wish the lunch combo was more enticing with less fried options. No brewed iced tea, only the fountain drink version. Affordable prices.

A more than accommodating staff accompanied by a less than stellar meal. We started with the shrimp martini, steamed dumplings and lettuce wraps. As a lover of thai food there is one thing that sometimes irks me and That’s an excessive use of fish sauce and/or lime juice. The dumplings had great flavor but the lettuce wraps and shrimp martini suffered from an overuse of these sour ingredients. On to dinner… My ka pow with beef was tasty but was lacking in that the dish primarily consisted of just beef and green peppers. Nothing much else. My wife ordered the chicken and vegetables with garlic sauce on the side(on the menu it was dish number one under the entrees). Our partners in crime for the evening had the salmon dish and drunken noodles which they seemed to love. Maybe I’ll try the drunken noodles next time. All in all this wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. I didn’t like the fact that we all had to share one rice bowl. I much prefer one bowl per person. The Portions were small but adequate. Our waiter was very nice.
