Go to the Restoration Hardware’s Annapolis location if you want to be treated like a 2nd class citizen. My horrible experience started off when I asked a simple question to an older, pale, wrinkly-faced, dark-haired lady. I should have known she was a witch from her appearance because she responded with a «What do you want?!?» Who speaks to their customers like that? I just wanted to know where I could find more of a particular throw blanket. To top it off… when I was ready at the register, no one was there to help. A bald guy in a suit jacket was walking toward the register. HOWEVER, he looked up and passed by to finish helping his customer! I understand you’re helping customers, but it’s not like you’re saving lives! You don’t blatantly ignore someone at the register with linens, towel set and a throw blanket! I would’ve taken«Just a few minutes.» But nothing! After a good 5 minutes of waiting like a fool, I had enough of their unprofessional behavior, left their crap at the register and took my business across the street to Arhaus. So if you want to be acknowledged at this location, make sure you plan to only buy big ticket items!

The furniture in Restoration Hardware is beautiful, however the service and delivery policies are lacking. On Saturday September 1st, I went into the Restoration Hardware store in Annapolis, MD. There were two beautiful floor lamps that I was interested in. I spoke to the saleslady and she gave me all the information regarding price and delivery for the lamps. The saleslady told me that the lamp shades would be ships via UPS, but the lamps would be delivered by Restoration Hardware. I got all the specs and information and decided to go home and take measurements before I purchased the lamps. The next day, Sunday September 2nd, I called the store and asked for the saleslady I worked with but she wasnt there. So, I spoke to another saleslady and ordered the lamps and lamp shades over the phone. I was told that the lamp shades are on backorder and I would not receive them until the end of October. She told me that when RH contacts me I can tell them to hold the lamps until they receive the shades so that I can get all pieces at once and they can be installed in my home. A few days later when I received a call from customer service at RH they informed me that since I am only purchasing lamps(albeit 7 feet tall), no one will install the lamps or the lampshades in my home when the SALESLADYSPECIFICALLYTOLDMETHAT. I called the store and spoke to someone different(every time I call, I can never get the person I spoke to last) and they told me that they placed a note on my order stating that I need the lamps and lamp shades installed in my home. The saleslady assured me that after forwarding my request to customer service they would definitely install the shades on the lamp at the same time. Two days later, I receive a very NASTY email from customer service from Elizabeth Bloch informing me that they cannot assemble my lamp and lamp shade and if I have a problem I should order a smaller lamp. This is ridiculous and I am never ordering anything else from them. If you decide to purchase something at RH, just know that there are different delivery policies and even though you pay extra for delivery and setup– you are not guaranteed they will assemble your items even though they told you that. The salespeople AND customer service need to be on the same page. Also, when I am spending over 2k for two lamps, I would hope that I would receive good customer service and not spoken to in a nasty way…
