Roly Poly

This was an odd little experience. We were in town for a wedding and needed a quick lunch. I found Rolly Polly on Unilocal and figured it would do. It was a small store with quick service. There was a self service drink fountain or you could choose bottled drinks. All of the sandwiches are rolled in tortilla style wraps… which I guess if we had thought through the name, we might have realized that. There were plenty of choices on the menu. They made a special plain cheese wrap for my children. I got a BBQ chicken and bacon wrap. My sandwich was fine, but it would have been bland without the sauce. The sauce made the sandwich. My husband said the same thing of his sandwich. The sandwiches were a bit on the small side. The price was reasonable. This was a decent, but not great meal. The staff was nice and it fit our needs for the day. Nothing special, but also nothing wrong with it.

Yummy, fresh and inexpensive lunch! The soups are amazing and they offer a sandwich incentive. 1 free sandwich after the purchase of 10.

UPDATE:
Sadly the owner of this Roly Poly has gotten on such a high horse over the success of the business that he has forgotten the basics of customer service. I posted a picture on their Facebook wall (which I have uploaded here) in regards to a wrap that had one piece of cheese and once piece of turkey and was made up of 95% lettuce. The response I recieved was shocking and boiled down to a big «F-​you», that is uploaded as well.
If you go here, per the owner only one piece of meat and one piece of cheese goes on each wrap and that is what they have been doing for 10 years.
I know one person doesn’t make a difference, but when a small business OWNER responds in such a condescending fashion via social media, it makes you wonder how they treat their employees. I have decided to spend my $ 10 for one meal elsewhere. Sad really.

I have been really disappointed in this place during the last two visits, so sadly I will be taking my business elsewhere. Although the sandwiches all promise such unique add ons, lately it seems that the wrap makers have either neglected to put them in or they never had any flavor to begin with. My California Turkey boasted of bacon, cheddar, scallions, tomato, avocado, sprouts and mango chutney. None of these ingredients made a showing on my taste buds. The chutney, for example, only vaguely appeared in one bite. My grilled Cider House Melt with smoked turkey, black forest ham, swiss, onion, mushroom, and spinach was a disaster. You know what happens when you heat spinach? It turns into a watery mess. All I could taste, sadly, was the smoked turkey and wilted spinach.
Sandwich makers everywhere, spread the stuff around for Pete’s sake. I was tempted to unwrap the thing and take a look, but heck I wanted to eat my lunch not investigate it. This inattention to the simplest details, and their ever shrinking fillings, earned them two stars and even that was being generous.

Great lunch spot. If you don’t see a wrap on the menu that looks good to do (which is rare becasue there are tons And they’re all great) then you can make your own. Inexpensive, quick, and delicious!

I found this place on Unilocal and I enjoyed my sandwich very much! The staff was very nice and they were patient with a newbie! Their menu board can be overwhelming for a first timer! However, the space isn’t big, but very welcoming inside! Definitely going back for a return visit!

Visited Roly Poly on Columbus day for lunch. The menu online said soup of the day was Corn & Green Chile Bisque, but not available so it became Loaded Potato. It was very ordinary. $ 3.25
Ordered a California Turkey sandwich and it was very good. $ 6.55
Ordered a Macadamia cookie, it was a very good, packaged cookie recipe baked fresh. $ 1.25
Expected to use the customer restroom but it was «Out of Order»
Overall disappointed based on the high Unilocal score. Would order another sandwich but would pass on the soup and cookie.
Overall I will probably spend my lunch money at a Subway.

Fantastic! Great food, amazing selection, quality ingredients, friendly staff, clean location, all around an amazing place. I went there today and I asked the cashier for her suggested favorite and rather than the usual, ‘lots of people get #xxx’ pre-​recorded answer, she actually had a short conversation w/​me and asked me what i liked and made suggestions. So, it not only was delicious but it was kind of fun too. I ended up w/​the fajita steak wrap and it was amazing. The Thanksgiving (turkey, dressing, cranberry) is amazing. 5 stars!

My wife and stopped here on our way to Ocean City. They have a great selection of wraps, friendly staff, a clean restaurant, and their food is excellent. Both our wraps seemed very fresh and were bursting with flavor.

Good sandwiches and a great variety of sandwiches and salads to choose from.

I have lived in Annapolis area for a decade and have only eaten here twice. It seems like they are never open and I remember the sandwiches taking forever…

I was starving for a new place to get lunch while at work. Unfortunately I can’t leave my shop so I am limited to delivery only. I did a quick google search for place that deliver in Annapolis. Roly Poly came up pretty high on the search list and I had to click the menu.
Might I say first of all, the online ordering was so well put together and very easy. I picked my sandwich, got a salad with chips and drink all for around $ 15.
The delivery was the only downfall, it took a while, but the quality of the food I got was evidence that they spend sometime and effort into putting together a quality product.
I am very impressed with my meal and will definitely be ordering from there again.

I have always been pleased with the food here, however the customer service needs to be greatly improved upon. The young girls that sometimes work the register and take your order need major attitude adjustments. I almost feel as though I’m inconveniencing them by coming in. They do not greet you when you walk in the door and I have never heard a thank you come out of their mouths. I’ll give this place one more chance, but if the customer service does not improve I will not be back.

This little lunch spot in a strip mall was GREAT! The nice guy at the front suggested a sandwich that was awesome! Would definitely go back for a great, quick, cheap eats lunch spot!
