This Subway just opened about one-two months ago, in the space where the(now closed) art gallery/sale room was, down the street from Fado’s restaurant. My dad and I went there for lunch today, mainly to get out of the house after the snowstorm had kept us house-bound for several days, and shared a footlong meatball sub. It was standard Subway fare, but the restaurant was very clean and well-kept. While foot traffic was fairly steady while we were there, the staff was attentive and helpful. For such a small Subway, there seemed to be a lot of staff behind the counter — I counted four or five people? Which is fine, the more the better, especially when it’s lunch or dinner time! The quick glance at the menu did NOT show the«local favorites» that I’m accustomed to(Where fore art thou, cold cut trio?) Now I could be mistaken, and I will gladly update if I’m wrong, but they may just not have had the room for it. I know most people would roll their eyes at yet *another* franchise store popping up, but I’m actually really glad, since it’s so close to my house. Their location at Park Place is ideal, being on the corner of a giant upscale apartment complex, so they should get a lot of foot traffic when word gets out they’re open.
