Terrible customer service. Bitchy women who act like it’s an imposition to get off their fat asses, stop browsing the free internet on the computers, and actually wait on you. Zero smiles, less eye contact. A last resort. Go somewhere else.

I went in to have a package of nine pages faxed to my insurance company and emailed to me. The clerk, who was clearly new to the job, spoke intermittently to another clerk, who later identified herself as the manager, Larsen. The clerk said the fax would not go through because the number was«out of range.» Larsen interrupted to say that she had been using the fax all morning long. The fax number was an 800 number provided by my insurer, USAA. I tried it later, and It seemed to work fine. I asked that the package be emailed to me. I entered my email address, which the clerk erased. She entered it again. And again. And again. I returned home to find that I had received two pages, not nine; and, those two pages were the same page, but sent in two different formats at two different times. I returned to the store, to explain that the fax seemed fine, and that I had received one page twice and eight pages not at all. Larsen repeated that I must have had an incorrect fax number. She had been using the fax all morning long. Re the email, I showed her the two of nine pages, and she challenged me, saying that I must have entered the email address incorrectly. I explained that I had personally entered the address only once, the other times by the other clerk. Then I must have entered it incorrectly, she continued to insist, even though I was holding two pages that had been emailed to me. I asked for a refund, saying I would be in on Monday to complain to the manager about the poor service. «That would be me,» she responded. I am now home, have wasted over an hour, still needing to send the package. This was absolutely terrible service, and utter incompetence. I’ve used this place before, and will go in on Monday to complain, hoping that the owner will be in. There is no option at the UPS Store site for complaints, but I will persist.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I was in many times during Christmas holiday rush(I’m a business customer) and they were handling it like the pros they are. However, they close with the least bit of snow or ice. Yesterday(01/03/2014) I arrived at 5:15 pm to pickup a package that contained material I needed for work, they were closed! No ice, little snow and the other two UPS Stores in Mayo and Annapolis were open, I called. Although this location is the most convenient to me, I’ll be taking my business to one of the other stores.

Open until 7pm and they were still friendly when I walked in at 6:45pm. Now that’s what I like to see. They also offered to give me a receipt even though I was using a prepaid label. Great customer service. I will be back.

They are super helpful here and I have always had a good experience. They patiently pack your stuff, no matter how ridiculous the items you bring in. And they treat you good. i highly recommend using them when shipping large items!
