It was our first time getting our Christmas tree here today. We usually go to another tree farm in Elizabethtown. But since our oldest daughter is away at college for the first year, we decided last minute to try something new. Our younger daughter’s, were hesitant of the change, but we explained that it was fine making new memories! When we arrived we really liked how everyone was so helpful & attentive to us. They must have noticed we were newbies… I love how they have the carts for you to carry your tree. They have a HUGE selection of trees to choose from & they already have them tagged & priced for you, so there is no guessing on what you will owe. Their sections are properly numbered & they give you a paper with all of the different trees that they have an where you can find them! Then after you cut your tree down, you put it on the tree cart they provide & wheel it over to the cutting, shaking dead needles off, wrapping it for ya & drilling a hole for easy tree stand placement area. Then they give u the a piece of your tag, for you to go in their barn to pay. In the barn they have a little store for you to buy necessary tree additions & wreaths for your liking. We bought a tree extended watering stick, to make it easier for us to water. Then after you pay, they take your tree for you to your car & they set it on your roof rack & tie it for you!!! And did I mention they have Santa there every weekend for kids. Oh and they have a Greek food truck too if your hungry after walking & cutting! And we saved much more than the other place! So I think we just found a new place, for us to make memories when getting our Christmas tree! Great family place & they know exactly how to do Christmas tree business!

My family has cut our Christmas tree at Misty Run every year for… a really long time. 10+ years easy. They have an extensive selection with different species all very clearly marked. There are some pre-cut trees available around the barn, but saws are available for you to walk out into the field and pick the one you like. They will also let you come out earlier in the year to claim the tree you want and mark it, then come back closer to Christmas to cut. When you head out to the field, there’s a small army of tree carts available to bring with you. Bring your tree back in and they will shake it out, drill a hole for the tree stand and wrap it for you. They also have rope available if you need it to tie the tree to your car. The barn has tree stands, watering tubes and all kinds of other Christmas décor. There’s usually a food truck parked outside on the weekends. And there are goats! They aren’t super friendly(more disinterested than mean) but they sure are cute. The whole thing is a great, local family operation. I highly recommend.
