«My Sister’s Place» is a thrift store in downtown Ansonia which exists for one reason — to help women who are victims of domestic violence and abuse. Every dollar spent there goes to support and protect these most-​vulnerable victims.
That being said, it is only an average thrift store with a decent selection of clothes (weighted mostly towards women) a small electronics and media section, and a fairly large section for china and silverware. The place is roomy, but not very clean. Prices are decent, but you can find things cheaper at Goodwill or Salvation Army Stores.
