I am new to the area and am so happy I found this salon! Quang not only stayed late to provide overdue nail care, but was so welcoming! Restaurant recommendations, neighborhood tips, he was just wonderful. And the gel manicure is beautiful! Quick, clean, professional, very affordable, and looks great! Search no further, Tru Colors will take great care of you!

They didn’t do our nails, so they got a neutral star of 3. Place was empty but they said they had reservations all day and could only take us in 2 days!!! They also didn’t know how to do hard gels, so be aware of that if you are looking for shellac or gel nails to be done.

I am, admittedly, the absolute worst at being able to explain what I want done with my hair. I’m SO, SO thankful that I found Bunny Banach! The things this woman can do with a head of hair is amazing. She so patient, takes the time with me to understand what I want (and sometimes to help me figure out what it is that I actually do want), and I’ve never left disappointed!

I stopped in one day to get a cut. I had a picture with me of something similar to what I was looking for. I was happy they take walk-​ins. I got in pretty quick. The girl did a cute cut, but much shorter than I really wanted. And one side was longer than the other. She did style it really cute, but I could never style it like that as hard as I tried. I called to see if I could get in on Monday (it was a Holiday and I wasn’t sure if they would be open), and the receptionist made me an appointment with the same girl. When I went that Monday, there was only 1 person working on the hair side and a man on the nail side. He said there were no appointments so the girl I had been booked with left. Instead of asking me if I would like to reschedule, he moved on to the lady behind me. I finally just walked out. I went next door to Great Clips and got my hair evened out for $ 12. About 5 weeks later I called to make an appointment on a Saturday. The receptionist is rude. Same one who lost my appointment the previous time advised me it was Prom and the stylists were booked. Ok, can you get me in on Sunday or another day? Then she realized someone cancelled and was able to get me in. The girl is really nice and I like her, but again, my hair was cut in so many lengths and had chunks out of it. I think $ 45 is way too much to pay for a haircut, let alone a crappy haircut. I don’t think I would return to this salon.

Horrible hair cut by their so called «master stylist.» I asked for a short wispy razor cut and came away with a bowl cut and a lecture about how I should let my hair grow out.

I have had my nails done for over 26 years but I was just never 100% happy when I walked out, after trying many salons I moved to Anthem and found Tru Colors & Quang, the last 7 years have been the BEST! The ONE & ONLY salon to get gel in the valley– I am very hard on my hands, mother of three, full time job with files and computer keyboard and a clean freak, My nails look beautiful even after 4 weeks! The salon is clean, relaxing, and very customer oriented. Quang is the owner, he has a very busy schedule so book today, he will always go above and beyond to try and get you in when needed but I always like to confirm in advance to be safe. He takes pride in his nails, he wants to make sure you are 100% happy, he has amazing ideas if you like to try new designs and trends. I am in the real estate industry and having my nails always look good is very important, Everyone in my office goes to Quang– they even drive out of thier way to see him. I haven’t been to the salon side to get color but I have seen the customer come out happy and looking fab. Although I don’t go to the other nail professionals I see the amazing nails that they do too, you just can’t go wrong with Tru Colors in Anthem! You will be amazed at all the compliments your will get —

I’m from California and went here when visiting my mom in Anthem. Quang did an amazing job on my manicure! And Kristi was the best pedicure I’ve had to date! I’ve tried 20+ different salons in California and never for the quality and friendliness of this salon! Looks like I’ll have to come back once a month to keep my nails up!

I can’t say enough good things about Christie S who does my gel nails. She is incredible. Much safer than acrylics and very durable. They look great. People compliment me all the time on my nails. I need to start carrying her cards with me! She is a very nice person and extremely professional as well. I had a disastrous experience with gel nails in Seattle, and know first hand how important it is to have someone who knows what they’re doing. Christie is the best and worth the drive to Anthem.

Quan does the best gel nails ever! They look so natural. he’s worth the drive from Prescott :) I highly recommed him!

Had my nails done here for about 8 years, until I moved. I have yet to find anyone with the same skills to do my gel nails! Romina gives the best pedicure you will find (especially if you have «challenging» ingrown nails). The place is clean, pleasant, and upscale without being snooty. The owner, Guan, is who did my nails and I can’t recommend him enough! He is careful with your fingers, and knows how to get the most out of the product. Your nails will look natural and beautiful when you leave (not fake) with his gels. But, they will keep on looking great for a month! He’s also a super nice man and you will love talking to him about current events and life. I wish there were a couple more stars I could add!!!
BTW– It is a good idea to call ahead for an appointment by a couple days, as he is popular and normally scheduled out ahead. But, don’t be shy about calling to see if they can fit you in the same day. I’ve gotten lucky with taking over cancelled time slots.

Christi has been doing my nails for about 2 years now and I absolutely love her! I get so many compliments on my nails that I’ve had to start carrying her business cards in my purse. Prices are a little higher than some other places, but the quality really is worth it. Plus she’s just super fun to spend time with!

I like this place fine. They do decent hair. Their products are ok. The service is average but the stylists I’ve encountered are friendly. I’ve had better, but I’ve also had much, much worse.
