I was there earlier this morning and Rhonda was our server. We were seated fairly fast and after a minute or two were asked what we’d like to drink. We ordered burgers and fries. Two drinks and a shake. I also specifically asked for two ranches, one for my sister and myself. Also some mustard. We get our food and still haven’t gotten our ranch and mustard or shake. I remind her gently to please bring some ranch as well. She said she would. So we begin to eat our meal. The food was great, however the service stunk! She waited on several other tables and then finally brought me some mustard. But no ranch. I asked again. She said she’d bring it. She took some orders. Then I asked again and again. Still no ranch. Finally after 20 min. And the 4th or 5th time of me asking. She finally brought it. However my food was cold by that point. She was standing around a lot as well and joking here and there in the kitchen with other co-workers. She also not once came by and asked if I would like a refill on my drink when it was empty. I had to ask her for that. I understand some people have long or bad days but I was fully ready to go in today to leave my server with a $ 10-$ 20 tip. Depending on how great and kind the server was. Instead I left unsatisfied with the service that was given when my requests were very simple. Ranch and mustard. Also, we got our shake later into the meal which wasn’t too bad but still. How hard is it to get some ranch and mustard? Also she only brought ONE. for two people eating from separate plates. Literally this has been the worst experience I’ve had at Denny’s. top it off when I went to pay for my food. THEN she decided to ask how everything was. I pretty much answered with a simple reply and left her a tip at the table that was pretty much worthy of her service. Which was a $ 1.63 out of a 32.53 bill. If Rhonda looks at reviews on Unilocal at all. Maybe next time when I stop in. Consider being a more courteous hostess. Then I’ll see again about leaving a $ 10-$ 20 tip.

I’d give a 0 but that’s not an option. I should have known there was going to be an issue with the staff as a group of 5 was waiting to be seated in a certain area. The person tells them that it will be a minute to put seats together as her boss is pissed as this person was on break. The boss seats us and that’s all we did was sit. The wait staff would look at us and keep walking. Guess we were in no man’s land as I actual heard them arguing on whose table it was. There were 3 people at the counter at the entrance not doing anything but looking as well. So, 5 minutes later we got up, handed our menus back to them and left. All we got was thank you for coming and have a nice day.

Every time I have ever been to this Denny’s the service is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. Since there has been multiple times with the same level of service(or lack of) which leads me to believe that it is not the servers but most definitely has to be the lack of training from management. It also makes me wonder how sanitary the back of house is… Just because this is a cheap restaurant doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t as an employee(or manger) keep your integrity and just keep everything up to at least minimum standards… I bet the employees wouldn’t even eat there.

not very crowded, yet it took over an hour for our food to arrive. The grilled tilapia was served raw and it still smelled like raw fish. Waitress was kind enough to get us a replacement. good effort but come on, serving raw meat, that should be enough to shut down a restaurant. Come on Denny’s get your act together.

I have been at this location once for the last three years. Each time the service has driven me away. This last time was a breakfast that took 20 minutes to get to my table and I was one of only three guests in diner. Wait staff was making funny sounds with ketchup containers and they were having a blast. I wanted water but they stated i would have to buy a refill on my orange juice. I can wait another year to try this place again.

I’ve been here plenty of times, always good service and food. The time of being seated and getting your food varies, but most Dennys are that way. Nothing over the top special, but nothing particularly wrong. Food is average, service is okay. My order is always correct and no complaints from any of my visits.

Came to Antioch to visited my kids and had breakfast before going to their house! The staff is so nice and helpful, the food was so good to. This is the second time I come to this Denny’s and it’s always been a nice experience.

It’s our third year in a row going to this Denny’s for Christmas dinner. Usually its normal danny with pretty good service even on Christmas. This year was not good the service was slow inaccurate and our food was brought to us cold then our server never returned to check on us. they lagged on refills and when we wanted to order dessert we had to do it in 3 part. The server never seem to stick around long enough to get everyones order. The whole experence was way too long and was not even to the normal Denny’s standard. hope this year was just a fluke. usually it’s not so bad guess we’ll try again next year hopefully they will have improved things

Chronically under staffed! Lousy service. Went there with my mother on 12÷15÷14 and were seated right away. 20 minutes later they hadn’t even taken our drink orders, nor even stopped by the table to say«I’ll be right with you» or anything. At 25 minutes we walked out and went somewhere else. There’s another Denny’s in antioch off Lone Tree way that’s like day and night compared to this place. Drive the extra 5 miles to the other Denny’s and enjoy good service.

I usually try to stray from leaving negative feedback based on one bad experience. But I’ve had many mediocre ones at this Denny’s and this one was so bad I honestly refuse to go back anymore. When I got there I saw they’d renovated the place. Once we were inside and seated, it quickly became apparent why they’d dumped all that money into the remodel. Sadly, they don’t seem to understand that the problem isn’t the aesthetics, its the staff. Perhaps they don’t pay them a proper wage, or some other serious injustice that causes the employees to not give any shits about anything. Who knows. Regardless, I find it entirely unacceptable that the whole place had maybe 5 tables occupied with 5 waitresses on the floor, and it still took over 15 minutes to get our order taken because our server was outside chatting with a fellow in a car. After which she came back in and walked around like we weren’t there. I know you’re probably thinking, hey, maybe you were an asshole first thing out of the gate. Nope. Smiles, greetings, manners all the way. This is the first time I’ve had such poor service anywhere if that tells you anything. Anyway, finally she comes to the table. We order. It takes 30 – 45 minutes to get a salad(which they served on a warmed plate instead of a chilled one, yuck), a $ 10 sandwich nowhere near worth $ 10(reference the photo) on plain ciabata that was supposed to be garlic and herb ciabata, and a small breakfast. Oh, I forgot to mention that she offered a refill on our drinks while waiting for our food and didn’t show up with the refills until we were half finished. Her manners were in place, but the service was unacceptably slow for how NOT busy and overstaffed they were, the food was disastrous in quality and presentation, and the hostess pretended to every guest that she wasn’t noticing any of this. We were one of three tables that were completely dissatisfied with their experience. One table in particular had clearly been there for a long while before we’d arrived, and had received their food just before we did. I felt worse for them than for me. Definitely NOT going back again.

The five starts is for the new renovation of the restaurant and not so much for the customer service. I think customer service needs more improvement. Overall good looking restaurant. Food is always good.

Do you like your food cold? Or perhaps you like your fork and knife dropped on the ground then handed to you to use instead of a fresh set? Or maybe do you enjoy dry salmon with no flavor except that of card board, have it sent back to get a new one just to find out they just put salt and pepper on the original and tossed it in the microwave? Then this is the place for you! Then place has gone down hill bad. Food from mcdonalds trash probably taste better than this garbage.

Do not put any money in the claw machine. Store refuses to compensate you for losing money in it, and refuses to warn their customers that it is broken! They claim that it is not their machine, and it is a corporate issue. They even yelled at us when we put a sign on it to warn people. Corporate issue? Well, now we do have a corporate issue.

I tried to play Denny’s crane game. It ate 75 cents. The hostess said she wouldn’t give me my money back because it was not her issue. I said they needed to put a sign on the machine to warn others. She asked the manager to get my money, but she wouldn’t warn others, so we put a sign on. She said we couldn’t do that.

What happened to the Denny’s we all knew and loved? The waitresses all talk amongst themselves and won’t even tell you where to sit, Which is fine but when they Won’t even acknowledge you and act like it a full house when they don’t brig you your food for 45 minutes and you’re the only person there, you kinda get antsy.
