I was at work and wanted delivery. I ordered $ 40 work of food. It got there quick however it was nasty! The absolute worst sushi place I have ever been to. Never again. Nor would I feed this food to a dog.

Been here a handful of times now and the past couple visits the service has been super slow. Seems as if they only have one waitress on duty and it’s her first day on the job… I wish they had more people working. Twice now we have ordered an appetizer and it came way after we both finished our meals and are ready to leave. The food overall is good though.

Over 20 minutes late… No call or anything. When I called them they said«we think the driver might have it». It just showed up. No soy sauce with the rice. Also, they put my fresh tuna in the same box with 2 hot rolls. It wasn’t raw, it was medium rare! The rolls were so-so, but not worth the price. My wife liked the fried tofu for what that’s worth. Never again…

This is not a LIONKINGROLL!!! I order a lion king roll almost every week in other sushi places and this is the first time I see this. Wtf first of all I come in at 9:40 and the woman doesn’t greet me but says can you order to take out because we are closing soon. My mom said yeah we wanted to order and the woman grabbed the back of a receipt to write my order. I ordered a Lion King roll which is a BAKED Roll it obviously takes more than 5 minutes! But no this special one took 5 minutes. My moms dragon roll looks like shit. The woman’s customer service sucked ass and she was not dressed approximately sitting at the bar with her boyfriend after taking my order. HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICEANDFOOD. Never coming back hopefully this nasty food doesn’t give me food poisoning or else I’m really going to have to take it up with the manager because this is unacceptable

This was probably the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The California roll had only a sliver of avocado in it, the New York roll was bland and tasted sour(I spit out one roll and threw away the rest), the tempura was soggy, the veggies were hard and had no flavor. All I wanted on Mother’s Day was to have some good sushi, and my normal place was closed so I thought I’d try something different and I will NEVER go back– ever!

This place sucks! Don’t come here. Customer service sucks, sushi is not good at all. Waitress is walking around w her cell phone in her hand, walking by our tables multiple times but does not bother to even ask if we need anything. First and last time coming here

Awful service on a busy day but on a slow day service is a-ok. Everytime Ive been here Ive done the AYCE deal, you choose what you want and they bring it out fresh. Can take up to thirty minutes to get your rounds of sushi if it’s busy. I suggest you know what you like because you have to finish your food otherwise they will charge you for leftovers or extras, wouldn’t it suck to have to pay extra for a roll you don’t like? Not the biggest selection, they primarily only have sushi rolls on their AYCE menu, would’ve been nice to see other appetizers like some other AYCE places. It’s a great way to try different kinds of sushi though and it’s better being with a group of people so everyone can pick and choose what they like.

I’ve been here a few times. The first time was when my mom moved to Antioch and we had the ayce lunch. I remember it being like $ 12 and thinking«not a lot of roll options but for $ 12 that’s a good deal». Fast forward to a year later when I move here and revisit this sushi place that I vaguely remember liking and the dinner ayce is nearly $ 30 and the ayce menu is a much smaller section than I remember. The price for ayce in San Jose is comparable but at least they have a double sided menu of options including nigiri, handrolls, appetizers, and sides in addition to the rolls offered. Long story short, I don’t think the ayce is a good deal here and I won’t be doing that again. I opted for ordering off the regular menu on my recent visits here. I’ve tried the spicy tuna handrolls, suomono salad with tako, and the Victoria secret roll. All are really good and it’s what I’ve ordered the last three times I’ve been here. Is it the best sushi I’ve ever had? No. Is it the best sushi in Antioch? Probably. I just wish the ayce was as good of a deal as it used to be and had at least a full page of options since that’s what sent me here in the first place. I guess changes like that happen under new management. Oh well, I’ll still be stopping by when I am craving raw fish.

Service is not great. The employee is more concerned talking to his friends then helping us. The rolls are just full of rice, no meat at all. We didn’t receive one of the rolls we order. We got very fed up with being the only guests in the restaurant and the service was still terrible. We ended up just asking to be charged for what we ate(which I paid for price for) and left. Terrible. Never again. If you love all you can eat I recommend either Tomi or Sushi boat. Both places offer more selection for a good price.

So I’ve only done take out because my boyfriend did the all you can eat and they didn’t bring him any more rolls so it was a waste of money. Everytime I had takeout it’s been good. It’s cheap so you get what u pay for. Lunch specials are a really good deal! I gave 3 stars cuz it’s mediocre nothing special but not terrible! Never get the salad though they gave me a weird dressing that literally had everyone gagging tasted like the stuff u dye Easter eggs with!!!

I wanted sushi when I got off work so I decided to go inside & order to go. I haven’t been back here in a while, everything was different. Of course, a new owner. I ordered a California roll since that’s so basic, no one can really mess up that kinda roll. Fried oysters and miso soup. California roll had a lot of rice. The avocado was really yellow, like a paste. The crab was good though. A few bites was kinda sour? Maybe it was the ginger or something on the side, idk. The fried oyster was surprisingly really good. The miso soup was… Nasty. Like others mentioned, no flavor, just tasted like tap water. Worst miso soup ever.

Great local spot. Staff has change quite a bit in the last few years. My favorite roll is the Flaming Dragon. After it burns out, it leaves a light smokey flavor on the roll. Be advised, it’s not in the AYCE menu. Hot Mamacita roll is another favorite of mine. Nice spicy kick from the finely chopped jalepenos. I’m not sure if they still serve it, but they use to have a chilled cucumber sake. Very good. Service is quick most times and they check on you regularly.

After a glowing reccommendation from a family member about their all you can eat sushi lunch, my husband and I were eager to try this place. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The meal comes with free miso soup… but they really shouldn’t even have bothered to offer it at all, because it’s obviously made with the local tap water and has hardly any actual broth. I took two sips and had to shove it aside because it tasted like hard water and also reeked to high heaven. I would also like to note that neither my husband or I are picky eaters and both usually love miso soup. It’s very rare when we decalre something completely unedible… but sorry to say, the soup was completely disgusting. The sushi tasted pretty good. The stomachaches we both got after eating it however, were not good at all. We won’t be returning.

AYCE! I absolutely LOVEAYCE sushi. There is a catch, though. You do pay $ 1 per two pieces of Maki left.(Hide some in your napkin if you must heh). It’s $ 15 for lunch and $ 20 for dinner. AYCE is best when you have multiple people because you defiantly get more bang for your buck. The sushi itself was immaculate. It was really really good and fresh(and I know my sushi!) they even have a hot cheeto roll. *droll* The server in the beginning was quite rude but fixed her attitude through out our meal. I will for sure be back(on my birthday) which a group of people and we are gonna tear this place up! I highly recommend!(Their garlic edamame is so good, too!)

Yesterday’s ad in the local newspaper said the all you can eat lunch was $ 15. The big white banner hanging from the building said the all you can eat lunch was $ 15. A chalkboard inside said it was $ 18. Guess that $ 15 was short-lived. The server was a bit aloof, and completely clueless of the price change. The sushi was good. As was my friends bento box. Maybe check it out, maybe don’t. I’m not sure…

If you have a high appetite and don’t care for quality sushi. I would recommend their all you can eat sushi deal. However keep in mind the rolls are mostly filled with rice. I would stray away from any spicy crab or lobster rolls considering they are mostly flavored sauces and spicy mayo. The more fancy sounding rolls are mushy and have odd flavor. But don’t fret they also have some standard tasting rolls. There presentation is nice and the place is clean. I would say this place is for young teens who want to seem adventurous with their mates. –Do not order the green tea. It was cold and tasted horrible.
