Heads up and EYES WIDE OPEN neighbors … I am guilty of not always watching the ring up on my purchases not unlike many others (perhaps because there is that unspoken trust) and dislike with a vengeance when I feel that a business may use ANY kind of «less than honest» practice to take advantage of a person who may be in a hurry or otherwise preoccupied. This has been a lesson to realign my dumb innocence. The only reason that I am bringing this to Unilocal for a review is because I have encountered #3, of «Things that really tick me off» and that is the limit to my silence. #1) Tuesday is 10% off any Wine as advertised on Kroger receipts, The «heads up» here folks is that you MUST SAY that you want the 10% taken off each and every Tuesday. #2) I purchased a bottle of Alize back some time ago. The price seemed good which is why I purchased it. It rang up $ 2.00-$ 2.50 more at the register, The explanation was that the sale went off but someone forgot to change the sign. (there are 5, maybe 6 employees in a store where the sales floor is about 800 sq ft max) #3) The small bottles of Rum Chata (by the front counter) have been 99 cents for the longest time. They were still in the 99 cent box but with $ 1.49 price tag. I asked why were they in the wrong box and got a blank stare. Then, with the same zombie-​like reply I was told «THEY WENT UP TO $ 1.49.» I said, «Well they are in the wrong box». Two days later, STILL in the 99 cent box, NOW WITHOUT a sticker I then asked, «Are these 99 cents?» Keith responded so curtly that his co-​worker (Sandy, who was standing next to him) had previously explained to me that they were now $ 1.49. I answered yes, OK but, NOW the sticker has been REMOVED so I thought the price went down! To most anyone this would indicate that the price was 99 cents. Really Mr. Liquor World??? I felt as if I were being accused of something horrific, terrible. [Oh snap! That was YOUR momma I rolled?] Hmm. OK folks. Yes it is only 99 cents. BUT that is my EXACT point. Why go through all that trouble to put stickers on 20÷30÷40??? mini bottles leaving them with other mini’s that are correctly placed in the 99 cent bin, then REMOVING all the $ 1.49 stickers yet STILL LEAVING THEM in the 99 cent bin??? DO NOT bitch at me because I only asked if there was a change. WTF MATE. The only reason you have a job is because of the customer. Are they really hurting so much for business? Or hungry? If your rent went up dude, I have solutions. Do you have a business mind?. And if I were you, I’d find sales people with a lick of personality rather than attitude. There is ALWAYS/​/​ALWAYS/​/​someone in there to purchase something. Liquor World is in a prime location. Honestly, yes it is convenient, but my advice would be if you are considering purchasing alcohol, don’t wait to be near Liquor World. All liquor stores have pretty much the same prices. Frugal McDougal can offer a better deal because of volume. There is a new-​ish liquor store near Angelo’s next to the gas station, JT’s I think is the name. Fine people, same prices. Lake Liquors, same thing. After patronizing a business for over, OVER, TEN YEARS do you honestly think I’ll just shut up and go away? Nahhhh. You decide what business you want to support.

They have great variety. The service is great and fast. The staff was very knowledgable of wines, I’m not so that helped me. They do carry wines from the local vineyard Arrington’s Vineyard
