Wow… Note to the manager, if one of your waitresses is quitting or its her«last day» before finishing nursing school… Maybe stick her in the back away from customers? Food was great, service was from someone who DGAF… We had leftovers that we took home. Sadly, not our own leftovers… Someone else’s leftovers… With a few bites missing. I can’t say I have been more disappointed, expecting some nice lunch and seeing that today… Sadly someone else probably has our leftovers and is experiencing something similar… There should be a Japanese word describing this feeling, like sosukybiby: «anticipating a nice leftover lunch and finding someone else’s food instead» I sure hope she does better work as a nurse than a waitress!

Excellent food, great service. We eat here almost every Friday night. Absolutely the only restaurant worth eating at in Antioch

Good service. Great plates of lots of pasta! Our table was never empty and that’s what you look for for an Italian restaurant, am I right?! Will definitely return!

Very romantic dinner option in antioch. Very consistant delicous food and great servers. Manager Robert did a great job keeping us entertained fed and drinks coming while waiting on a busy saturday night. Have gone there for years and has always been our familys and friends place to go for special occasions. Try the Yummy salmon alforno! !

While the food is excellent, the service leaves a lot to be desired. I arrived first and the bartender served me immediately. When my dinner guest arrived we were seated and waited forever for a server. One person arrived to tell us that he wasn’t our server and our server would be around shortly… what??? The amount of food you get is huge, the prices are very reasonable. If you are pressed for time I advise another restaurant but if your willing to wait for the food you won’t be disappointed.

Every New Years Eve for the last 3 years I’ve gone with a small group of friends to Oliverii North for dinner. The food is always good as well as the waitstaff. This time though there was a guy working the front along with the hostess. I don’t know if he was a family member of the owner, or maybe a manager but it became clear that as soon as we finished our entrees he wanted us out of there so he could have the tables for other patrons. We hadn’t even been there an hour, 2 people in our party were still picking at their food and he inserted himself while our waitress was elsewhere. He asked if the food was good, asked if we wanted anything else(without even being offered a dessert menu) then he promptly brought the check. I will think twice before trying to spend time with friends here for another New Years Eve.

Great food, great service This place is a bit more upscale than the usual fare in the area and that is a very good thing.

We’ve tried this place a few times. I really like their fried calamari the best. But every time, their service stunk. Their entrees are ok, I can’t recall what I Ordered so to me it’s not worth going back. My husband had chicken parmigiana which was pretty good but I think just about any Italian place can make that decently. Maybe if they would work on their staff then we would return more often.

I have been here many times. It’s a nicer restaurant in downtown Antioch. While I have never had a bad meal– my favorite meal is the ravioli in the walnut sauce! Very delicious and better food than other fancier Italian restaurants.

Oliveri has really been hit or miss for me. Their pizza is always amazing, can’t go wrong! Their pasta is hit or miss though. Service is usually very good but last few times has been something of a mystery. I recommend for great pizza but as far as authentic italian dishes, there are better options.

Overlooked gem in Antioch. I had the capellini pomadoro which was fresh and tasty. Bread was awesome. Service good. Quiet, so you can have a conversation. Recommended.

I just don’t understand why this place gets the rave reviews it does. I’ve been here a few times before, nothing special then either. But tonight was really disappointing — this will be the last time I frequent this establishment. I ordered Farfalle Con Salmone(salmon with tomato vodka sauce over pasta). For the price, I expected something palatable not the bland, gigantic plate of pasta with a few bite sized pieces of salmon on top. Most disappointing; not least of all the overcooked, mushy pasta — and this from a restaurant that promotes itself as Italian. Al dente — what a concept!

Decent place to go for Italian food! Food is consistent and take out stays warm. We always enjoy the vodka chicken and their calamari!

Ambiance and service were fine. The food is just ok. My chicken with mushrooms and artichokes was under seasoned and bland. My wife’s fish was good. The calamari was a bit over cooked and greasy but plentiful. Small pizza was tasty. What I had a hard time processing was the price. 70 dollars without tip is just way too expensive for the quality and portion sizes. It’s better than Olive Garden but overpriced.

This place is your basic Italian restaurant. Before getting to the restaurant, I had high expectations, but I soon realized that the food was overpriced. The place has a bar, but it as loud and crowded as the restaurant isn’t that big anyway(I’d make a reservation).

I love the food and the wine here. My friend and I used to come here for a girls night all the time before she moved to Germany so now I need to find a new friend to go with because I miss it a lot. Very good food. Service is hit or miss but we are never really there on a night where time is an issue and our patience level is good because of the wine of course lol! But it is good. I like and recommend it.

We came here on Friday eve before the rush. My mom recommended it as she’s been here for lunch several times and never disappointed. I lived in Italy, so I am very picky about my Italian food, and was not at all disappointed by our meal. My kids range from 6 years old to 18 yrs old, everyone enjoyed their meals(and they are picky!) I had to ask for light breading on my chicken piccata, as I feel that is how it should be prepared, and it was fabulous! My daughter was able to order fettucini Alfredo(not on the menu) with no problem. The waitress was attentive, and drinks were promptly refilled. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

We hadn’t been to Oliverii North in awhile, and were looking forward to the great meal we remembered. What a disappointment. This restaurant USEDTOBESOWONDERFUL, with flavorful dishes, cooked properly. Not sure if the chef has changed, but it’s not as we remember it. I had the Linguine Di Mare, and it came with spaghetti instead of linguine with the toughest calamari I’ve ever eaten. The rest of the seafood was just so so. The other 3 in our party were disappointed too… claiming bland and forgettable dishes. BRINGBACKTHEOLDOLIVERIINORTH. Restaurante Bottaio in Libertyville, owned by the same people, is SOMUCHBETTER. Forget this place and head to Libertyville instead.

I think people go here that have never ate good Italian food before. I suggested this place for my moms birthday everyone got something different at our table. And no one could finish their food. It was tasteless and not cooked right. The only thing we could finish was the bread and we left hungry. And I pretty much ruined my moms birthday.

This is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had outside of North Beach San Francisco California
