Piggly Wiggly

Produce selection is weak, and I cannot buy organic dairy items there. For this reason I rarely shop there, except when they double coupons and items I need are on sale but then I have to deal with their customer service which is horrible.

I don’t shop here often. They do have decent deals, but every time I do shop, I notice the smell. Even after the recent remodeling. Is it just in my head?

Fair prices and not overly crowded. They also have fried chicken dinners at the deli counter. Two pcs fried chicken cole slaw and a dinner roll for 3 bucks. Can’t beat that price. They are currently remodeling the produce section hopefully modernizing the look of this older store.

On the way home, my father wanted to drop by to see whether or not if they had any tuna for sushi he was planning for dinner. Walked into the store, not ONE employee greeted me. Even an employee who was bagging groceries saw me and he didn’t even acknowledged me. Products are overpriced. Barely had a «seafood» section. There were price tags missing so we didn’t know what the prices were. No one to ask because no employees were visible.
Saw an employee talking on the phone while she removing shelf tags in one of the aisles while walking towards the exits. Seemed too busy to check for customers. Of all places, I have never seen an employee talk on the cellphone while working on the floor until earlier this evening. Also, she was wearing tattered pants and looked unprofessional. Talk about lack of professionalism and no customer service at all. Granted that this establishment is a grocery store, is there no sense of professionalism? Also, most establishments have some kind of dress code… I don’t want to even mention where the holes were on the employee’s pants. I’m surprised that I was able to eat dinner. Should’ve gouged my eyes out with a spoon on that very spot.
Eventually we ended up at Garden Fresh Market and bought a pound of tuna.
I will never go to that location ever again!
