Royal Packing

We have never written a recommendation on Unilocal before, but we have never experienced the kind of quality service that we just experienced from Royal Packing in Antioch, CA. The experience starts with Jack Imwalle, the owner. He came to the home we were renting while our home was being built and gave an estimate for moving about ten minutes away. It was a very thorough estimate and was actually much higher than the estimate we had earlier received from another company. When we compared the hours, etc., to what we had just experienced moving to the rental from out of state, we believe his estimate was much closer than the other one to what would really happen (and it actually worked out that way). And we could tell from just meeting with him that he is a very honest person and would take good care of us.
Jack promised us an excellent crew, and he did not exaggerate. They were incredible. This was the fifth move we have made in our lives and it was by far the best and one we were most comfortable with throughout. The move covered two days, with about six hours each day, and the movers were always very conscientious and helpful. We initially took out some insurance just in case, but after being with Dave, Robert, and Phil, we regretted having the insurance. They didn’t come close to causing a problem with anything they moved. We have some antiques that we were concerned about, but they took such good care of them that we never had a worry from beginning to end.
Finally, when we initially talked with Jack Imwalle, we asked if they would return and pick up our empty boxes a few weeks after the move. He said yes, so we called him when we were ready and he returned himself on a Saturday and took close to fifty disassembled boxes plus about five boxes full of wrapping paper that we had flattened out and folded into the boxes. This will always be one of our most memorable experiences in dealing with any company.

We moved with a large moving company and they used Royal Packing to do the packing part of the move. The packers were great. They got everything packed in our 2000 sq ft home in about 7 hours (3 of them). Jack, Dennis and Angel we’re the packers we had and they were fantastic, friendly and now that we have out stuff out of storage and have been settled in we got to see the fruits of their labor. With a coast to coast move only a couple small things were broken (picture frame, a dish) none of our collectibles got broken-​it was amazing. They truly did a great job and take the time to pack things right!

We have moved several times with Corporate movers and I have to say that Royal Packing was fantastic. The staff was friendly, great pricing and I have never had movers take so much care with not just the household goods, but they took exceptional care of the flooring, staircase etc inside my home to ensure no damage. The moving crew was on time and flexible with additional requests once they arrived on-​site. I have never been so impressed and I would highly recommend Royal Packing to anyone needing a moving company.

We have used them twice and have been very impressed. Their rates are very competitive and and they handle every aspect of the move professionally. On our first move one of our pieces got slightly damaged. They didn’t make any excuses and made arrangements to get it fixed. The repair was first rate and you can’t tell that the piece has been refinished. We vowed to use them on any of our future moving needs, which we did a year later. They were done in 3 hours and hustled the whole time. It’s so nice not to stress over who to use as a mover during one of the biggest stresses in life. We are making arrangements to use them again to move my parents. We’ve had 8 moves in the last 13 years so we have had lots of experience with movers.
