If you are considering Sprint as your cell phone carrier, DON’T! Background: I live in the San Francisco Bay Area otherwise known as the high-tech capital of the world. If I have problems here you can expect you will have problems where you are. I also travel and experience the same issues I am one of those customers that was lured to Sprint with the promise of better pricing and service and I couldn’t have made a bigger mistake. I am now being held HOSTAGE by Sprint in a phone lease agreement(not a service agreement which is important to understand) with the 5 phone I have(all having the same service issues) which will cost over a $ 1,500 to get out of. I have tried to work with Sprint to trouble shoot the issues and the bottom line is their network is subpar at best and isn’t capable of delivering the service and coverage you can expect with other major players. No Contracts: Before you enter into a «non contractual» agreement with Sprint understand what that means. Most cell providers are starting to go away from a monthly contract for their service and move to a phone lease or purchase. Interesting thing is it releases them of liability to provide you a suitable network and hold you 100% on the hook on a lease of a phone. Sure, you can leave Sprint at anytime and be off the hook for service fees but you still owe them your complete lease amount even though you give them back the phones. I wouldn’t mind just buying the phone and taking them to another respectable carrier but you can’t because the technology in the phone is not compatible. Service coverage: To be blunt, it SUCKS! Be prepared to deal with it taking up to 30 seconds to connect to a number once it is dialed. Be prepared to have long delays in text messages being sent or received especially if you have an image attached. Be prepared for slow or nonexistence internet coverage especially if you are in any building without wifi. From time to time you can expect dropped calls especially if you travel. Customer Service: Be prepared to hear«sorry» multiple times when you call to complain. You can also expect to hear things like; * Sprint has good coverage in most area, we are currently upgrading our towers and expect service to improve soon. * I can send someone out to your local tower to see if there is an issue(useless when the problem it everywhere) * We are doing our best. Unfortunately we life in the world of here and now and we expect things immediately. With cell service we should expect this and it is possible for things to take 2 minutes to 20 minutes * You should go to another carrier and see if they will buy you out of our phone lease. * My favorite we can send you a booster to improve the signal at your house. Interesting fact is I got a cell phone to use at other places then my house. Not really an expectable solution when the booster is not portable. Not to mention if this is a recommended solution you obviously know there is an issue with you network coverage. I can go on and on but if this isn’t enough for you to understand then I guess a first-hand experience is the only way you will see.

Do NOT go here. I have had so many problems with my bill from DAYONE because of what this store has done(or NOT done). First of all the monthly cost we were told was WRONG by quite a bit. All of our old phones from AT&T we turned in the day we received our service were never reported so now SPRINT is threatening to charge me for the American Express Cards they sent me to pay off my early termination fees to my old carrier($ 300). When I called and talked to the associate at the store who signed us up for service about the fact that SPRINT had no record of us turning in our old phones she informed me that her store did not know they were not supposed to take in old phones until two weeks after we signed up. WHAT?! REALLY?! Also, I was charged over $ 600 for ‘breaking my lease” when we returned one of the new phones within the allowed 2 week trial period. It has been WEEKS and this is still not resolved. Unbelievable.

They were very friendly and took a lot of time with me, fixing my problem and showing me some things I can do with my phone to make my charge last longer! Thank you guys. They were proactive making suggestions, not just doing my request. I will go back again.

Stopped by the staff really made me feel great about being here. They greeted me with energy and you could tell they legitimately had a good time working there. It was pretty busy but the team let me know how long the wait was and when I was helped it was great. Will definitely start shopping here. It’s a bit of a drive but it’s worth it.

Excellent service, specially the tech department. Met the main tech guy and he was very nice and knew everything I need answers to. Sad about the locations though, abit of a drive for me but still good service

This is my second negative review in one day on a Sprint store. This was my second attempt at getting an iPhone for my wife. First attempt was at the store off of Deer Valley Road in Antioch, same results. Walked into store at around 3:15. Two salespeople out front, busy, two others in the service area, preoccupied. Again, as soon as we walked in, no «hello,» no «we’ll be with you in just a moment,» nothing. I have been here and received better service in the past. It is sad that we were 0 – 2 in one day in attempt to purchase a new phone. This is why people shop online, no waiting, no bad service. I love when it feels like I am wearing an invisibility cloak when I walk into a store. 10 year member of Sprint and just to re-iterate, maybe I should switch to Verizon or AT&T. Sorry Sprint, epic failure twice today.
