The Painted Flower

Sandra is one of those special people that you rarely have the opportunity to meet. She is not only very talented, but she has a huge heart. She puts her love and positive energy into every piece she creates. She doesn’t just paint glasses, she builds relationships.
For my wedding I wanted a very special and personal gift for each of my bridesmaids. It was a wine country wedding so I thought I would give each of them a glass for their favorite type of wine with their favorite flower painted on it. I was so lucky to find Sandra. She loved my idea and did some test glasses and sent me pictures to make sure they were what I wanted. They were so beautiful that I decided to order a pair of champagne flutes for myself. Our wedding colors were based on blue irises from a scarf my grandmother gave me. Sandra loved my story and put so much time and care into my glasses. Again, she painted a few versions to make sure they were exactly what I wanted.
My wedding was in Sonoma and I was flying in from Denver a couple of days before. Instead of mailing the glasses or relying on someone to pick them up, she met me halfway (about 2 hours drive each way) to deliver all of the glasses.
