Troy, you fixed my phone so fast! The screen was broken when I dropped my Android LG Nexus 5 under a table that I was pulling along concrete. Troy was quick in responding to my request for a quote and fixed my screen in under 1 hour! Usually you do drop offs with him but he made an exception as I have a tight travel schedule and he had time today to help make it all happen. Troy is courteous, experienced and good value, oh yeah ANDFAST!!! Thanks Troy!

After being introduced to Troy’s Tech Services, we brought an iPod to him and he replaced the cracked screen; we brought an iMac to him which, again, had a cracked screen, which he replaced; when the iMac fell over and the screen cracked, the software, more specifically, the operating system, seemed to be adversely affected, and Troy reloaded a Mac OS(from what I understand, this isn’t as easy as loading a PC operating system); we brought him a laptop that was not functioning properly and, although, once he looked into it, Troy suggested that we purchase a new laptop, as the one we brought to him was rather old, he did not charge us for the trouble it took him to investigate what was wrong with the laptop. Along with fixing devices we brought to Troy’s Tech Services, Troy has also made«several» house calls for us. He came to our home and worked with our TV provider to get our television system working again. This would have otherwise entailed making an appointment with the provider and waiting until the provider’s technicians could come to our home. Troy came to our home because I was having trouble with my Rosetta Stone program. He, again, worked with Rosetta Stone to fix the program and get it working again. This would have taken my calling Rosetta Stone, being connected to a call center, probably one in a country where the primary language spoken isn’t the same as mine, and being«walked through» technical issues which I would not have understood. Troy has done so many other things for us and, I know, other customers. The saying that Troy seems to prove wrong is, «Jack of all trades, master of none.» Troy comes as close as I’ve ever seen to someone who is a master of many trades, most of which non technical people like me couldn’t begin to understand. One thing that bothers me is I’ve been to a few non corporate related«mom and pop» computer fixit places and they’ve charged well over what Troy charges to either do what I could have done myself or do something they were not ever asked to do. It worries me because, if people reading this review have been to such a non corporate related«mom and pop» computer fixit place and have had the same bad experience, they may hesitate to want to work with such a small business again — and I wouldn’t blame them. This, unfortunately, could serve to affect one’s opinion of Troy’s Tech Services. I would ask anyone reading this that has had such an experience not to compare the service they’ve had with the service provided by Troy’s Tech Services. The quality of work done by Troy’s Tech Services not only exceeds the quality that one might receive by most small computer fixit services, it exceeds the quality of work that is done by most corporate related fixit services such as Best Buy, Staples, etc. The range of the devices and problems that Troy’s Tech Services can fix blows away that of any other tech service with which I’m familiar. Some services can and/or will fix only computers or, in the case of the corporate world, devices they sell. Troy isn’t in the device sales business, so he’s not restricted by corporate policies that require service departments to work on only those devices they sell. As mentioned, he’s fixed computers, both hardware and software problems, TV problems — even working with a large corporate provider. He’s even repaired a hot tub that was not functioning properly. With other tech services, I’ve dealt with pleasant, professional people and also people that were not so pleasant and/or professional. The personality and professionalism of any service provider is always a gamble. This is not anything about which one should worry when dealing with Troy’s Tech Services. One can be assured that, when working with Troy’s Tech Services, one will be dealing with an amicable and very well spoken professional technician. One never feels that one is not explaining the problem well enough to Troy for Troy to know what it is that needs to be done. He can work with even the most cursory of explanations given to him by someone who isn’t very savvy in the field of electronics or computers, like yours truly. One will walk away confidant that Troy understands what the problem is. The last but maybe most important testimonial I can give to Troy’s Tech Services is the cost savings. As mentioned, Troy has never charged anyone unless he can fix the problem — thus far, at least. He has yet to charge anyone for merely investigating. I’m not sure if Troy will be able to keep this up once he has increased his customer base — and he surely will. Consequently, if you need something fixed, almost anything, don’t wait too long to contact Troy’s Tech Services. Once people know of this technical wizard, his time will become even more valuable.
