Wayne’s Barbershop

I normally have Wayne trimming my beard and he does an awesome job in shaping it and deserves a way more than 5 stars.
Buuuuuttt he wasn’t there today so I let this other guy that has a long beard do it. I tell Chy that I want to trim my beard. Chy asks if I wanted to clean up my neck and side burns and says that it had been cleaned up before. Since it was 4 months ago, I did it, I said go for it. Chy damn near gave me a bowl hair cut!!! He buzzed my hair line 2 inches above my hair line in the back. The sides are even worse. My left side is 1inch higher than my right. I did feel him trimming it, but I did say I wanted to get cleaned up so I didn’t put too much thought into it. I didn’t notice when I looked at the mirror because I just looked at my beard as that’s what I expecting to get done.
I’m now so embarrassed about how my hair looks. I have no idea on this persons training but it’s not with hair. He was definitely practicing on me or just messing with me. Six years of hair growth for nothing. And by the way, my beard looks no different than what I could have done at home myself.
Also, his interaction with costumers was bothersome. Someone got there and said «Hey N%#@@» which is very uncomfortable for me to hear especially hearing it from a non black person. What shocks me is the fact that a customer feels comfortable enough to say that in a business in front of other customers.
I called to complained after I got to the car and saw the mess and he even didn’t say sorry or anything. I just got a response saying I asked him to do that. I said to clean my neck up. There are very few things someone can f$&) up on your body that will piss you more than your hair. I would rather get a bad tattoo. At least there are options to get it removed. Now I’m stuck with an ugly ass cut until my hair grows out.

I’ve wanted to get a nape undercut a they were able to do it. As soon as I got in there in they attended me with out an appointment. They are very nice staffs there. They are great barbers.

I came in today as a walk-​in. The staff was quick to tend to me and my barber was very thorough. The cut was great, just as I asked. I will be planning revisiting their services.

Found out that Wayne’s open on Mondays which worked out great today with my hectic schedule. I got a great Razor Fade High ‘N Tight Crew Cut and beard design/​trim from David this afternoon. I have been going to Wayne’s for awhile and have always had great cuts. Thanks David, I’ll see you in a few Mondays!!!

Another great haircut. In and out in under 20 minutes.
Place is well ventilated and kept cool. I’ve had hair cuts where I sweat in the chair and hair sticks to my skin. Not here though. AC pumping and tv playing for a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

Great hair cut at a great price. I have been looking for a new barber for months. After 2 great haircuts in a row, I have found my new barber. I will probably try the hot lather facial shave next time.

I love this shop. It’s distinguished from the neighboring surrounding shops. My son at 3 ½ got his first haircut. Cheyenne hooked him up with a mini triangle frohawk. He let me hold my boys hand the entire time and never ran out of patience while I found the barber profession interesting and asked 1000 questions. Today marks the 2^nd week since his first cut and we went again today. Same great and nice mannered guy. The shop is well kept up and just feels warm and open. There are hug LCD tvs for entertainment and a full pro pool table if tv isn’t your thing. I’ve been to other shops and let’s just say «hell naw would I ever take my family there». All the staff is friendly and for me and my boy, we’re sticking with these guys. Good luck in your search.

Great place, great barbers and just a great shop! I’ve never been treated wrong nor have i gotten a bad hair cut. Me and my little brother always go to David!

I stopped by Wayne’s Barbershop yesterday to get a cut. My go-​to barber is closed on Sunday and Monday so I spent a good hour calling around, I found one barber that was open right across the street from Wayne’s that told me to come in, turned me away once I arrived and also told me $ 60.00 a head??? What?! So, I got in the car and drove away, once heading up the street I saw Wayne’s on the corner.
My experience: My son and I walk in and grab a seat, we wait 10 minutes then Wayne calls us over. Wayne isn’t as fast as my barber but he does a wonderful job. I gave him my dimensions and told him exactly what I wanted and he performed. Wayne does have televisions in his shop but he wasn’t watching them while cutting. Those tvs are obviously for the people in the chairs getting their hair cut. The shop was clean, the employees were friendly, i’ll stop by again when i’m in a need for a last minute cut.

If I could only give no stars. Maybe he was a good barber at one point but Wayne is quick to get you out of his chair. I’m from the east bay and use to barbers only using the clippers for 15 – 20 minutes free handing it until its just right. I’ve gone there 3 times once one of his co workers did a hack job, next 2 times Wayne was more interested in worlds dumbest criminals which he gives more attention to then the person in his chair, I was literally in and out in under 10 min and half that time I was waiting, talk about getting your money’s worth. Stay away there are much better barbers, in a 10 mile radius, that place is a joke. He would not be in business if he was in the bay no way.

Wayne is the only barber I take my son to, he’s been cutting his hair for years. Bald fade with a sharp line. #1 in our book.

Wayne has been cutting my hair for about 16 years and I send everyone I know to him and his staff, they are all great and have a nice shop with nice waiting area and flat screens everywhere ! Deserves more than 5 stars, keep up the great fades!
