Edmunds Hardware Store

This is the BEST hardware store ever. They greet you when you come in the door and ask if you need help-​not push but genuinely nice. If you are a regular, you are greeted by name. And they have everything! If they don’t, they will get it for you. This place should be on a list for tourists~ a real old fashion store where customers are important. Courteous, friendly, happy, and knowledgeable staff. Don’t bother going to the big box (or Belletete with its grumpy unhelpful staff…) go to Edmunds first. We love Edmunds hardware! !!!

They are a small ‘mom and pop’ style hardware store that has as much outside storage for sale items as they have inside. A true throw back, but despite how small they are they really pack it in at this store. They have almost as many things as you can find in other bigger stores with ¼ the store size. I can’t help thinking ‘fire trap’ with the pre-​WWII area aisle widths and floor boards that feel like they are from the turn of the century i can’t help but think that it would be some what problematic getting out in the event of a fire. On more than one occasion I have found items that i was looking for that i haven’t been able to find online at a better price than i have seen at a Lowe’s or Home Depot.

This is a great hardware store. You can find almost everything you could possibly need here, from socks to embroidery floss, as well as all the things hardware stores normally carry. The staff is always ready to help you find what you’re looking for and they’ll smile and chat with you too. If they don’t have it, but it’s in the Ace Hardware catalog, they’ll order it for you and have it shipped to the store at no extra cost. I have been a customer of this store for 36 years and it’s so much better than any «big box» store in my opinion.

Has no one in the area heard of Unilocal?This is the best hardware store in the area and its been here for generations. It has twice the product of Belletetes in half the space. If you can’t find what you need here you don’t need it.
