Denny’s

Denny’s has such the opportunity to be a good place however it seems like every time i dine there the food always comes out cold. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage and i don’t think it could have come out any colder… I would rate this place a 1 star but the staff was actually very nice. I will say that they did bring me out a new plate and that time it was much warmer. They were accommodating.

The most horrible service I have ever had! Lindsey B was our server and not only did she mess up all of our orders but my sausage was under cooked and still pink. My waffle was burnt. My boyfriend requested mushrooms on his burger and she put them on my other friend’s sandwich. When we told her about the mushrooms she didn’t even offer to take either back and was laughing. I asked her for hot syrup and she didn’t bring it, so I asked again and she acted like it was the first time I told her. Good was not good. When she gave us the check she had to go back THREE TIMES to fix it. We could tell she was DEFINITELY on drugs. When we went to check out we stood stood at the counter forever, and had to go find someone so we could pay!!! My boyfriend said he has been to that location previously and stood at the counter for almost 20 MINUTES waiting to pay?! Every employee was extremely rude. THE MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER. I don’t know how they are still in business. Will never be returning.

Best food, best service we will definitely be back! Amazing! (See the photo posted) our waitress ALINA gave the most amazing service plus for once the skillets came out sizzling. Definite the best Denny’s experience ever!

Terrible service. Always have to wait to be seated. The waitress dosnt know about the menu took forever to get food and then it was cold definitely won’t be coming back.

Great Restaurant!
My wife and I stopped by Denny’s in Apache Junction this morning for my free birthday Grand Slam breakfast and, I must admit I was a bit apprehensive, after reading all the negative reviews on Unilocal.
As it turned out I was pleasantly surprised. We were immediately greeted and seated upon entering. The server, Lisa S. was very pleasant and brought our drinks immediately, after which she asked for and took our order. The meal came out rather rapidly and was cooked just as we like it, with crispy bacon, nicely done sausage, eggs over medium and fluffy and delicious pancakes!
Lisa made several stops past the table to make sure everything was fine with us and to keep my coffee cup full. The restrooms were clean, as was the rest on the restaurant, with pleasant décor and from what I could see of the other tables an attentive wait staff. Checkout was just as expedient, friendly and pleasant.
All in all, I have no problem rating this Denny’s as 5 stars!

Never had onion flavored pancakes before. A friend had crunchy scrambled eggs. Not on the normal menu and we didn’t ask :(

We showed up at 845 on a Wednesday night with 6 people working and 12 tables completely dirty and they had trouble trying to seat us in a resturant with 2 patrons cause the tables all dirty and had been that way for a while. Unreal service and dirty …

Minus one rating. The WORST Denny’s EVER!!!
The Hostesses were rude and lacking everything a Hostess should have to hold that position like manners, Customer service. The servers all looked like they just got out of prison or were pulled off the streets. The food took forever to get to us and when we finally got it, it was disgusting and didn’t look like anything I’ve ever had at Denny’s before. I was sooooooo disappointed because we really needed a good restaurant in that area. I will not be returning there!

Seated and ignored. Ten minutes no water, no acknowledgement, nothing. We left and went a mile down the road to Village Inn.

It’s Denny’s lol it’s quick casual diner food, I love it! I love being able to go somewhere any time of day and order most anything on the menu. Some of the breakfast meals are an excellent deal and can be split between 2 people, I’m looking at you Lumberjack meal. I love the $ 2, $ 4, $ 6, $ 8 menu, great way to go out on a budget! Also you can’t forget to get your free Grand Slam on your birthday! Hashbrowns are always delicious and I love the toast too!

To my chagrin, my fears for this bright, shiny, new restaurant have come to fruition.
The staff is a bunch of young kids who know and care nothing for customer service. I have visited several times since my last review to take out, and each time have been frustrated and disappointed.
Calling in to order is a travesty, and Denny’s should have online ordering, in all their corporate glory. But they don’t. You call in to a person at the front counter who speaks like they are ignorant. The person was unfamiliar with the menu as well, which made for a fun time. Picking up was underwhelming as well. This same ignoramus «prepared» my order, then asked me what I was going to tip him, so that he could ring it in.
Upon getting home with my order, I found that the food was ill-​prepared. The Super Bird was literally thrown together, with pieces of meat and bread haphazardly tossed into the box, with no other ingredients for the sandwich. I could not cut my pancakes with a knife. They were probably as hard as it was to order them.
I was so glad when another eatery appeared near the house. Now I find myself wishing that it would disappear, taking the gaggle of snowbirds eating there with them.

Best service, best food, i always ask for Jaclyn to be my server and she does an amazing job. Will be going to this location from now on.

Food was great, service not so much. The hostess was nice but the waitress seemed on edge and slightly rude. Took a while to get a cup of coffee and there was no silverware to stir it. Asked the waitress with no luck and finally had to ask the front desk. Also, If you wanted a refill on coffee you had to ask multiple times.

No heat when we arrived a 8:30 this morning. No creamer. Food was cold when it got to our table. We had a group of 15 but we’d made a reservation a week before.

Do not waste your time, go to IHOP or any other restaurant for good food. My mother and I will not be coming back. It had been years since I have been at a Deny’s. When my mother and I sat down the server was quick to come over and ask what we wanted to drink. My mom ordered coffee. I didn’t know what there was to drink. The server kept pushing me to order my drink and asked what was there for me to choose from? He stood by the table the entire time I was trying to look at the drinks and just kept talking distracting me. Finally I got fed up and just ordered a root beer.
Three minutes passed and we had our drinks. My mother had cold freshly brought coffee; and he asked if we were ready to order. We said no not yet. He kept coming back about every four minutes asking if we were ready. By the fourth time we just picked something to stop him.
My mom ordered a chicken fried steak with eggs, hash brown and the gravy on the side. I ordered the grand slam sandwich. We also asked for napkins. The server came back with out meal. My moms steak had far too much gravy on it and it looked as if it was cooked earlier that day and then just heated up to be reserved. The server did say he heard her ask for gravy on the side and forgot to write it down. Then kid had to go back and brought out another chicken fried steak. This time he forgot the gravy on the side. We also didn’t receive our napkins until we were ready to leave.
As for my grand slam sandwich it was suppose to have maple spice to it and it had no taste to it at all. I was very disappointed. This is the second Deny’s I have been too and this reminded me why I have not been back to one in several years.

I will not be coming back again to this dennys. I went in tonight. Not only was the service not that great, the food was awful! The only good part was the mozzarella sticks. Any who I got a grand slam and sausage with it. The sausage looked 2 days old literally. I’m in the resturant business and this was very disappointing. Never have I ever been served food that looks like it did. Food was cold! Server was kinda concerned she asked how I was doing and I told her not great cause the food ect. She had explained she was taking it off my check she didnt, they did give me a free cheesecake which was nice but being a server myself that food that was served is just unacceptable. Probably should re think who you have in the kitchen or even the management team since I didn’t hear from them directly. another server did it for my server and manager. Maybe some really good training. Anywho this place needs work. If you want fresh food, don’t go here!

Went to the Denny’s on Signal Butte and Main this evening. My family will never make that mistake again. We walked in and were greeted and seated promptly (this was the best part of the expierence). We sit and then two other families are sat on either side of our booth they are greeted and orders taken while we sit with not even a simple I’ll be right with you. We then after 15 min ask to be moved to another section, so that we can maybe get service. We are moved and the server is very nice, but gets my drink wrong then brings me the Coke I ordered to begin with and it has no syrup just the cabonated water. YUMMO Not. We then proceed to wait another 45 min for inconsistant food. Juan ordered the Cobb Salad with Prime Rib the prime rib was cold and he didnt even eat any of the meat he also ordered the chicken soup, but never recieved the soup. I ordered the Fried Chicken Cobb Salad and mine didn’t even have the tomatoes that Juans had which is one of the reasons I ordered the salad. And those of you who know Juan know he drinks his drink like a fish his Iced Tea was never refilled and was conviently located on the edge of the table. The sad part is we were not the only ones who had terible service another family with a small boy were there and they ended up leaving with thier order to go. To top it all off they said they were sorry but not much else for the horrible all the way around service that we recieved. There was a gentlemen there with a suit which I can only guess was a General Manager, but was more interested in speaking with the buss boys and giving them high fives. Needless to say we will never go back to Denny’s we are life long Village Inn family at this point. The one great thing is that we had a gift certificate so it didnt actually cost us anything.

Inside looks awesome. Everything is new and it’s a nice atmosphere. Service though is terrible! Went in around 1am on a Friday night. Once we walked in there was nobody to seat us. One waiter was eating at the bar talking to the cook and the other one was sitting with a table. After about 5 minutes of just standing there the waiter eating came up to us. Stated she wasn’t on the clock but will sit us anyways. They only had one menu to give us and it was in Spanish. She came back with regular menus and took our order. Eggs were cold like they were sitting for a while. The table next to us said they ordered limp bacon but the bacon was actually extra crispy. What’s weird is the person I was with got extra bacon super cooked. Pretty sure we got was on their plate. Asked for a refill and it took about 10 min to get. Normally I wouldn’t care except for the fact it was almost dead in there with a few tables sat. Don’t think I’ll go back again.

Night before Thanksgiving, and the service from Kelli and Whitney was excellent. The food was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Building is nice, do plan to come back. Just hope the wait staff and management learn to work together. Also stop using the melted butter on the toast it’s gross!
