Amedeos now occupies what was once A Slice of NY Pizza. That place combined horrible customer service with bad pizza. Amedeos is not an improvement. For starters, Amedeos forgot to establish a takeout area/counter. So you walk in and squeeze around those waiting for a table, so you can order. I had to wait for a waiter to take my carryout order, and he clearly wasn’t happy about it. They tell you your pizza is «made to order» fresh. Mine looked like frozen junk from Wal-Mart. It was under-cheesed, barely topped, and had a bubble. It shouldn’t even have left the kitchen. I added an extra star because at least the hostess was pleasant, and greeted customers warmly.

Décor is very strip-mall. Odd layout and tables are cramped. 2 Dinner lasagnas and 3 slices of bread $ 28.98. Doesn’t come with salad or any sides/veggies. What a shame.

I have had a few of the items on the menu and loved them all. I have been there for lunch and dinner. The place is clean and well managed. One thing I noticed was the aroma of Italian food and no smell of perfume. At some restaurants the wait staff reeks of perfume, but not at Amedeo’s. It was a pleasant surprise to have a meal without being assaulted by a wave of perfume every time an employee walked by. Anedeo’s is now one of my regular restaurants.

Wanted to love this place! Salads are small and very simple and was disappointed with the Greek salad. 2 meatballs cost 5 dollars. WHAT? They were small! If they were big I could understand. The sauce was pretty good but overly salty. However the owner or manager and employees are very nice.

Food was good, but the service was incredibly slow and inattentive. We had to ask another employee to locate our sever several times for drink refills, etc. I’m not sure that we’ll go back to this location. Very disappointed.

Great reputation now serves Western Wake County. The Big«D» Meat Lover’s Pizza and the Margherita were done well. The salads were fresh and crisp. The Sweet Tea was spot on. The walls were covered in Sports Memorabilia from N. C. State University. Service was quick and accurate and the manager came out to make suggestions for excellent pizza.

Margarita pizza was very tasty. Crust was fluffy and crisp. TVs and NC State memorabilia make for a great atmosphere but can do without the Dook and UNC items.

Really delicious pizza! Had two slice lunch combo and it was definitely worth it! Service was great! Fast and courteous. I will come back and bring my family next time!
