I LOVE Anna’s! The food is wonderful and is always a treat.

Love the pizza!!! My wife is NJ and all the time she says the pizzas up north were better… that was until Anna’s! She has a new favorite pizza place, and it’s in the south. Atmosphere is good and staff is friendly. I definitely recommend.

This was our first time here and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a restaurant. After waiting 25 minutes our pizza arrived and was cold in the middle and the crust was burned. We told the waitress and she seemed unconcerned. She put another order in for us but didn’t ask us if we wanted any bread or a salad while we waited. After 15 more minutes our second pizza arrived and it was just okay. There was way too much sauce and the onions and peppers were not cooked enough. When the waitress brought our bill she said they gave us a small discount for the inconvenience. She wasn’t kidding. They gave us a measly 15% discount which was only $ 3.00. They conveniently overcharged us for our pizza and didn’t take off our coupon. We told the waitress and she brought our new bill back. This time they gave us our discount but not the discount for the mess up on the pizza. At this point we were so disgusted we just paid our bill and didn’t leave a tip. NEVER again.

Went in right when they opened at 11 and was greeted with a smiling face. Ordered food and received pizza and garlic knots in a timely fashion. Will definitely be back.

First time here! We sat upstairs, that’s the place to be. The beer on tap is cold. We had a party of 9 and they took their time with us and didn’t rush us out. I had the special, stuffed shells, eggplant parm and Caesar salad. All was delish.

I’ve lived in Apex for over a year and had yet been to Anna’s. So I decided to give it a try! After all, it’s always packed when I walk by. I wanted so badly to enjoy this place. However, I was disappointed. I gave two stars for a few reasons: — Upon entering, we had no idea what to do. We walked in, no one said anything to us, so there was this awkward«What do we do?» vibe. Not cool. Do we seat ourselves? Do you seat us? Do we order at the counter? Do we get menus if we sit down? All of this should be clear upon point of entry to all customers. I was also surprised that no one said anything to us when we walked in. The restaurant is so small, that there was about 3 employees standing around the bar, whom said nothing to us until I asked«Do we seat ourselves or do we order at the counter?» First impressions are important, you guys! And this first impression was bogus and awkward. — The pizza was the greasiest pizza I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. It was soggy, and floppy, and don’t even try to pick it up and eat it like a normal person because it’s consistency makes it impossible. The crust was so dry and overcooked, it was like a cracker, which made it not near as exciting for dipping in my side of marinara sauce. My husband’s calzone was smaller than we expected, with a stack of pepperonis and a glob of ricotta cheese inside. They forgot to include his mushrooms. What a bummer! — Our waiter was good, attentive, he was a new guy with glasses, very nice. I’d say he was the only thing I liked about the place. It’s such a great location, I really wanted to like this place! It’s unfortunate that I’m not interested in going back.

I like this place. The chicken franchase is excellent. I do not recommend going to the 2nd floor. The service is not as good and the tables are not level and move. It is fun to watch people sit down and try to fix their table with no avail. Then they move to another table. 2nd floor is weird and has no windows.

I guess i can overlook the fact that a worker mishandled my first order of plain last year,.because let’s face it, it’s not the business fault,.and i heard the guy is no longer working there. So we decided to give this place another chance. Well, actually my husband did, by bringing home a Seafood combo with NY Style Plain pizza yesterday and it was delicioso! He told me after a rave about it that it’s from Anna’s and I was so shocked! Seafood combo taste divine,.huge serving, good for two, so fresh and white sauce is light and garlicky just the way i like it. Will definitely come back.

I ate here last week and really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. I got the lunch plate and was full when finished. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is warm and friendly.

I absolutely loved the spicy chicken and BBQ chicken slices. The only problem was that they were too big and I could not finish them. Also the service was great and friendly.

Love love love pizza. NY style being my favorite. I’ve been here several times for pies but today’s excursion was for a sub, in particular a chicken parm. I’ve been searching and thus far, this is as good as I’ve found. Now to see if it’s consistent.

BESTPIZZAEVER !! We always go to Anna’s Loft which is just upstairs from where you pick up your TOGO order. We prefer to eat here because they have draft beer and it’s a smaller space. Also, the cold air doesn’t stream in every time someone opens the door. Today we started with a garden salad with the house Italian dressing. The dressing was delicious !!! Wow ! I’m not sure what gives it an orange color but it was tangy and delicious. One salad was plenty to share. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. We had the Grandmas pizza with meatballs. The crust was extra good tonight. Browned and cooked to perfection. I could just go on and on about how good it was. We chatted with the owner for a few minutes. He was a nice guy. A bit later our waiter brought us some«comp» garlic knots with warm marinara sauce. They were tasty. Not something I would ever order. But the gesture was truly appreciated. We will be back again… and again and again. Friday night is Pizza Night !!

5STARS when Jimmy is working! While the pizza et al is good(not great), the charm of this quaint pizza shop is the acerbic wit/humor of Jimmy(known locally as The Sage of Salem St). He greets every customer who comes in with a smile and upbeat professional attitude… no matter how busy the shop gets… and boy it gets busy. He keeps abreast of the local and national news, and is always willing to converse on the events of the day. His trivia knowledge runs deep… go ahead, challenge him. Good food combined with good customer service makes this place a lunchtime favorite.

My first dinner experience in downtown Apex was at Anna’s. It’s a nice little Italian style neighborhood restaurant. I came with some friends and we sat upstairs where there are only a few tables and also a bar. We started with garlic mozzarella bread which tasty. I had the Blanca pizza, which was ok, but don’t think I’ll be having it again, tasted somewhat plain, and I guess I just prefer the more traditional style pizza. My wife had an aubergine dish which was tasty and a very big and heavy portion. Finished the meal with the Italian powdered sugar donuts and the cannoli(not sure if it was ‘home made’, but it tasted good). Service was prompt and friendly. I asked our server if there were any nuts in the cannoli, he went away to check and brought back a big box and read out all the ingredients, haha — that was kind of sweet, I always appreciate a server who does a thorough check on the allergy ingredients. I may not have been made speechless by any of the food, but I am looking forward to coming back to try some more dishes soon.

After sitting at the coffee shop nearby getting some work done, I decided that a slice of pizza was needed. They have a great lunch menu with choices of salad and slice of pizza. I chose to get a Caesar salad and the BBQ chicken pizza slice. Caesar was typical of any restaurant, I do like that they put the dressing on the side. Then the slice of pizza came out. I am pretty sure there was more chicken than bread on the pizza. It was great! The chef added more cheese to my slice and it was perfect. You definitely get your money worth. Next time I plan on trying the soups, everyone around me was raving about them. Thanks for a great lunch!

The food is delicious but the service is awful — just know that going in and you’ll be fine. We drive almost 30 mins once a week to eat here. They make one of the best Margherita pizzas with fresh mozzarella and the Rigatoni Rustica is awesome(but get it with sausage instead of chicken).

Very nice place to get a pie. Had a slice of many meats on a pizza slice was very good. Haven’t been here very many times and it’s always been good. Sure, I’ll be back.

Three strikes, you’re out! I’m not even going to write all of the comments I could give. But I will say this, Yuri? What happened? When you came here it was great! Now everyone talks about how service is super poor, rude, careless. Taste of food is mediocre fast food tasting. Ugh! You have such prime, nice real estate here in Apex! You are wasting your opportunity to make your mark and be proud! Contact me, Chef and Kitchen Manager, and I’ll help you figure out where the hell you’re going wrong! Please get your cooks to wear gloves! Scratching their face, texting on their phones, then pulling food and touching it, WRONG! You need to send them all to SERVSAFE class! My family and I dropped over $ 100 tonight and felt ripped off! We waited over an hour for appetizers!!! Really? 8 minutes buddy! You NEED help! Hire yourself a Manager who takes pride in YOUR business! Fire all of your staff who doesn’t give a shit! Best service we got in the three hours it took to dine there tonight was a kid bussing! Even he needs to be taught to dress properly or stay in the back of the house! My daughters birthday was sad because we skipped dessert due to our butts hurting from those horrible chairs and waiting! Sorry! I run a tight, clean kitchen and Anna’s is NOT even close to fitting the bill!

TOPPINGSTOPPINGSTOPPINGS! That’s the star of this show. The crust is alright but doesn’t have that just right bite. It holds up well to the mammoth heaps of delicious toppings they put on the pizzas though. I’m not talking pepperoni, I’m talking about the veggie pizza which is huge and overflowing with broccoli, tomato, onions, spinach, fried eggplant(great addition), and cheese. Or the BBQ chicken pizza with a ton of large chunks of cut up and grilled chicken(the sauce could be bolder). I ordered two slices but should have just ordered one as I couldn’t even finish them, my kids didn’t make it through their one slice either. It was a whole lot of deliciousness and filled all four of us up for around $ 20 because a $ 3.50 slice is more like a personal pizza. The service was almost unbearably slow but it was Peakfest, they were busy(inside and out), and we were taking a cool break so we let it pass, this time.
