They only got one star because I couldn’t give them any less. The review written in June, 2014 could have been written by me. Fast forward. August, 2015
I ordered two outdoor chairs from Gole’s in April, 2015 with an estimated delivery date of 6 to 8 weeks. They told me three times that the chairs were shipped and would be delivered but they were never received. It has been 15 weeks since the chairs were ordered and they refused to refund my deposit. They were rude and vulgar when told that the deposit amount would be disputed with the credit card company. I only wish we had read the earlier review before placing an order from Gole’s. After placing the original review I contacted the manufacturer who said they would have Gole’s contact me. When I did not hear from Gole’s, their credit manager said it was not a shipping problem but a financial problem. She was unable to elaborate but her statement implies that Gole’s has a cash flow ploblem. If I had known this, I would never have given them a deposit on my credit card.

Great experience furniture buying at Gole’s! We went yesterday and found an outdoor dining set that we liked. They gave us an extra discount on top of the sale price. We paid and scheduled the free delivery for the next day. As we were leaving, we walked by a table set that we hadn’t noticed earlier and liked it more. It was a newer model of the set we had just bought. He let us swap the set for the same price, even though it was priced higher. Awesome customer service! Everything was delivered this morning as promised. Would definitely recommend Gole’s to a friend.

We have made two purchases at Gole’s, and have been very pleased with the friendly staff, quality of furniture, and the prices. The owner, Joe, also gives great on-​the-​spot discounts! They also have free local delivery!

We ordered custom outdoor cushions from Gole’s. We were told the cushions would take 6 – 8 weeks to arrive. We patiently awaited their delivery. Nothing came. Worse yet, every time we called and asked about them we were lied to with comments like «They are on the truck,» «They will be here next week,» «They will be here tomorrow,» etc. After 3 months (4 weeks past the latest due date they were promised), we asked to get our deposit back. The company refused. The person who was handling our complaint was quite nasty and rude. This surprised us because we had bought outdoor furniture to the tune of $ 3,500 before we special ordered the cushions. No explanation was given as to why we never got the cushions. Finally we had to get the charge company involved and were about to file a law suit in small claims court, they they finally relented to giving us credit for our deposit on the cushions.
The only reason we purchased there in the first place is because they had what we wanted on the floor and were able to get it delivered the same day. We are very happy with the outdoor furniture, but of course, Goles had nothing at all to do with that. After being lied to about the cushions and being treated in a very rude and nasty manner when they never arrived, we will never shop at this store again. Unfortunately they showed their true customer service colors.
