This is not an indictment against KFC’s food. It is what it is and it was not any different than you’d get elsewhere. This is more about this specific location. I went in at lunchtime and was greeted by an empty counter. I was curious to see how long I would be ignored, so I just waited in silence. The answer is «about a minute». Manager saw me and told staff to wait on me. I have nothing but empathy for this managers here. I can only imagine how difficult it is to deal with at-or-close to minimum wage staff. The issue here is staffing — from the dull-eyed teenager waiting on me and the people milling around in back acted as if they were darted with elephant tranquilizers. They shuffled around with sluggish movements and general disinterest. I ordered one thing to dine in. They made a small mistake by making it to go. Not a big deal by itself. But it seems — cumulative with the other comments made here — that staff here is not very good. They are slow, disinterested, and not attentive to details. And, to boot, despite there being only one other customer in the place — half the tables were dirty. *sigh* I see absolutely no reason for anybody to go here. I recommend Smithfield’s Chicken &BBQ just up 55 at Davis Drive and Morrisville Carpenter. KFC manager, you should take a trip out there and see how these managers motivate from the front to make their staff absolutely the best of the best in fast food.

We actually picked up some chicken here tonight. We had several nice surprises. 1. They got the order right. 2. They actually HAD the chicken pieces that we wanted. 3. We did not have to wait for anything. My husband went through the drive thru in record time! So the question is, Apex KFC… Is it possible you are actually changing???

My husband went there at 7:00 pm Saturday night. Guess what? They only had a few pieces of crispy chicken, no original recipe, no spicy. Customer service was nonexistent. They seem not to care even a little bit. Just awful! No stars!

The staff here is so aggravating to deal with– my order is almost always wrong, and they seem more interested in personal conversations than tending to their guests. Thought I would give this place one more time, but this is the last straw. Oh, and my order is wrong again.

This is the first time I have been to the store since it is no longer an A& W also. It must of been 80 degrees inside the store. The order was incorrect. When I went up to ask for the right item, the employee took the piece of chicken from my plate and placed it back in there warmer behind the counter. The table were extremely sticky and the floor not swept. We were the only dine in customer for 10 minutes then another came in.

Just went there a half hour before closing and they were out of their New Chicken Little which they are advertising like crazy. Sad when a KFC is out of chicken!

The slowest drive thru service I’ve ever seen. I’ve tried to get a root beer float 4 times only to told that the ice cream dispenser was broken.

I do not have the heart to give KFC negative ratings, but this is the worst KFC that I have ever been to. This KFC is a KFC and A&W which is nice! I love A&W root beer and am able to get the root beer I love with a bucket of chicken and a hot dog for my son. How great! Well the not so great involves the time it takes to get through the drive-thru. I have been in line in the drive-thru for almost 30 minutes before. I have even been asked to «pull around». We waited in front of the store for an additional 15 minutes. They brought out our food and apologized for the wait. We then realized that the soda was flat and our food was wrong. The food when it is right is good. I just HATE waiting so dang long for food! They should do something to compensate for long waits. Like a coupon for a free cookie or something. I just feel like they spend more time chatting and laughing instead of preparing food. This is the only KFC close to my house so I will continue to go there, but good gravy I hope someone from this location reads this and thinks… maybe we should get our stuff together and stop taking such a long time. Maybe just maybe more people would give KFC a good rating if we stopped running out of chicken and actually cooked the chicken in a timely fashion!

I have to say I have been here twice in last two months and both times they were out of chicken. Both times were during peak meal hours. I do not understand.

I’ve been there 3 times now over the last two years. Every time I’ve been in there, they are out of chicken. There is a feeling like the staff have never run a chicken place before. Went to Bojangles instead tonight.
