Hi! I am as picky as they come when it comes to hairstylist. Vanessa is a hidden gem in Apex NC. I moved here from FL and «finally» found someone reputable. She cuts my children’s hair propely, not haphazardly. Also, the salon itself has a very unique rustic flare. I highly reccommend going here and if you can, request «Vanessa!!»

Nice salon in downtown apex. I recently moved here and was looking for a new salon and stylists. I called lizmichaels, the receptionist was very friendly and got me in the same day with Vanessa, for a haircut. Vanessa was very nice and listened to my wants and needs. She also paid close attention and detailed in making sure my swooping bangs were the way I liked them. I had a great experience and would recommend Vanessa! I’m going back next week for some fall color/​highlights! Oh, I also got $ 5 off for being a first time client.
EDIT: I went back fro my fall highlights and low lights with Vanessa. They turned out great, I just wish they were a little more vibrant and noticeable. I guess I should have been a little more clear that I want to be able to tell that I have done something with my hair. One thing that I did find a little strange is that I paid for a partial highlight/​low light but they also charged $ 20 to blow dry my hair. I guess I am just use to the blow dry being included with the service. I also got an eyebrow wax, just cleaned them up. She did a great job.
