I came into this store on a whim and started looking around. I saw the cutest greeting cards, agendas, witty mugs, jewelry for a cause, and on the way out– the cutest wrapping paper. I couldn’t help but buy it! I love shopping local and I couldn’t resist. Super friendly staff who always asked if I needed help and gave me more info on the product as I checked out :)

Although Stylish Living does what other, similar shops does, home décor, jewelry, fragrances, candles, mugs, baby items, and the like, it seems to have them in the less commonly found brands.
It’s a beautiful shop, with an inviting elegance about it that makes you over look the «just another gift shop» moniker. There are some adorable gits for baby, but also for parents — like jelly-​cat beads, worn by adults but designed for teething babies. There are even dog-​tags for the dads on childcare duty. The selection of items for babies are ideal for a baby shower or just as a gift for a new parent.
Fortunately, once the baby gifts are out of the way, there’s over half the store left for finding something for the adults.
There’s an entire selection of mugs, plain white, with humorous statements to make you smile. There are handbags, jewelry, greeting cards — everything to make it a one-​stop shop. Stylish Living also carries watches as well, not the any old store kind, though, and an assortment of colognes and soaps for men. I think that might be what makes this shop unique, its selection, albeit small, of things for men.
Stylish living is a gift shop, but has a variety of the less-​common items, and is set up to make it easy to browse. It was a 3.5 star place for me, but the service is what makes me round up to four. It’s a nice addition to downtown Apex.

Great addition to the shops in Apex along Salem Street. While not unique, it does dovetail well with other stores of its ilk. The owner’s dad so far has been the only person we have had dealings with and he is extremely helpful and gracious. They also have heeded the cries of local residents to stay open past 5 p.m. unlike so many other shops. After all, we cannot all be independently wealthy and shop for these lovely trinkets mid afternoon! Bravo and i wish you great success!
