Pizza is a very personal choice. Although I liked the staff, I didn’t think the pie was well executed. Not enough sauce and the crust was just OK. You can order extra sauce but I’m not sure it would have helped the final product.

This place is a wonderful option for gourmet pizza. The ingredients are so fresh and delicious! I love that they deliver in the area. They had the best Stromboli I’ve ever had, hands down! As far as anyone mentioning that it’s «pricey», you get what you pay for. I would much rather pay a few extra dollars for fresh, great quality pizza that the owners make sure to provide than have something of less quality (especially if I’m also spending calories on it anyway lol). Keep doing what you do Massimo’s! :)

Do like the pizza here a bit on the pricey side compared to NJ/​NY a saucy version but has the thin crisp crust you want without the chewy side of things some others have. My only complaint was something to do with how much you work the dough before baking it.
A few of my pies here have a ton of those bread bubbles without cheese/​sauce on it. When you get a few too many then you feel like your eating crust more than a pizza.

Great pizza. Top 3 in the whole Tampa area in my opinion. Definitely way beyond anything in south county.
Update… They changed their pepperoni. Still great but the mini pepperoni made it different!

Finally found it! A pizza delivery that suits the entire family. We ordered a pineapple and bacon pizza, meat ravioli, and an Italian sub. The ravioli is superb! It tastes fresh, tomato sauce has just the right texture and slight sweetness, and the melted mozzarella on top is heavenly! Pizza review from hubby is «really good and up there with East Coast” — which WAS his fav pizza, til now. Best part… They deliver to COVINGTON GARDENS AND WATERSET! Customer service and delivery is great too. We are happy happy happy and completely stuffed because it’s sooooo good.

Stopped in after my appointment at the Texture Room. I heard a stylist chatting about the pizza by the slice. I ended up ordering a whole pie to take home for the family. Service was lovely– I was waiting outside for my pizza and they even brought it out for me. It was delicious!!! The dough was super fluffy, chewy and delicious. The sauce had the perfect flavor and truthfully– you could totally over eat because it’s very good!!! Unfortunately it’s not in my delivery area, however I will eat here again for sure.

Staff was friendly. Meat pizza was very tasty! Good portions and reasonably priced. Took 45 mins to get –dine in. Didn’t like «tip» service but we had to order at counter, get our own drinks, plates, napkins, etc. And then had to clean up afterwards.

I had a delivery order from this place and it took them 1 hour and 45 mins to get to me — I live 8 minutes from this place… Pizza was not hot when I got it and was ok at best. Breadstick had too much raw garlic. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

We have tried most of the pizza shops in the area, so we decided to give Massimo’s a try last night. Like most of the area shops they are set up for take out and delivery, and have a modest seating area for eat in customers. So don’t look for ambiance. They were not too busy when we arrived so the service was quick and friendly. We ordered the Supreme pie and it arrived in about 18 minutes, which is just about right. The pie itself was decent, as most are in the area. No complaints on the quality or the price … and you save $ 3 with the coupon when you Check In on Unilocal!I’ll be back.

We tried this place on a whim, and I’m glad we did! We had the chicken pesto pizza and a house salad. The pizza was good, the chicken wasn’t spongy but seemed like real chicken breast. It had a wonderful flavor. I also love that the salad had leaf lettuce instead of yucky iceberg. We will definitely order again! Oh the staff were polite as well.

Ordered from here previously and was good. Nothing I was going to rave about to anyone, but it was a decent pizza and had good flavor. We had friends in town this weekend, and they wanted pizza. We decided to order from here. What a disappointment, especially when having guests. The pizza was overly soggy in the middle, crust was burnt and chewy. My friend said she thought she was going to break a tooth… we didn’t finish the pizza: (we will probably order from another local place that is more consistent in quality.

We ordered a pizza tonight for our first time from them. Delivery was fast and driver was very nice and professional. The wings we meh just ok not the best we had spicy and garlic parm also the piZza was good but I have had better. We will order again from them but I will look and try other places as well. South shore is limited in its eateries and I am super picky.

Amazing pizza! The taste was incredible and the chicken tasted great! I got there and was pleasantly surprised they had Nutella rolls. Nutella is everything! Overall, a great family pizza joint and the service is superb!

Love it! Had some pizzas from here at a friends and I thought they were great! My husband and I came and got the full Stromboli. It was HUGE! I’m a picky eater but I still loved it (I had to take some of the filling out because they give you a lot, but I’m not complaining, it was delicious!). Full of veggies, cheese, and meat– and the kids working there were really friendly and seemed happy to work there. The girl seemed genuinely happy we like our meals and even the guy behind the counter making pizzas gave us a thumbs up when we said we loved it. Love when people make good food and obvious in a good atmosphere.

This place has the best ravioli I have ever had. Definitely not frozen stuff. Also the best pizza I’ve ever had as well. Definitely worth every penny.
I’m only in town for a week (for now) but I’m sure I’ll be back before I go.

This is a fantastic little Italian restaurant! Everything we’ve tried at Massimo’s has been first rate, including the pasta, salad and pizza. The Stromboli is excellent.
The staff is friendly. The service is quick. Since we discovered Massimo’s, we don’t go anywhere else for pizza in Apollo Beach.
