Chili’s Grill & Bar

Sat at the Bar section, Great service 2 for 1 drinks and free chips. We had cheese curds as an appetizer and they were seasoned beautifully not greasy very warm and Oh So Yummy! Also enjoyed the fresh guacamole. For an Entrée I had Fajitas and the dish was sizzling hot and seasoned well! Overall Great Service and Food would highly recommend!

Once again we ordered take out and the order was wrong. Bacon cheeseburgers, rare, bacon crispy, not burned and on the side. We recieved medium rare burgers, bacon burnt and on the burger. I called and spoke with Danielle, who was very gracious and credited our card back. If this had been the first or second time we had a problem with what we ordered, I wouldn’t be writing this review. But this happens about 25% of the time. When they are on their game, the food is excellent. But when they’re not, they are McDonalds.

Had dinner tonight around 600pm. We sat in the bar section and ordered two beer with chips and Salsa for our appetizer along with a side of fresh guacamole. The chips were cold and greasy, so we asked for a fresh order… Came out the same way. We waited over an hour for our food order to come out, fish tacos and ancho salmon, and were told to be careful because the plates were hot. However, the food on the plates were not even warm… The fish tacos, beans and rice were cold along with my boyfriends salmon and rice. The cornbread was the only thing hot. The waitress dos send the manager over who was very apologetic and wanted to replace everything, but my boyfriend had to get to work so we told her it was and we could warm it up later. Everyone was pleasant, we were not rude and the service was slow but nice. At checkout we saw that the meals had been removed off your ticket, with our surprise because we did not ask or expect it! Warmed the food up at home and it is very TASTY!!! Thank you Chilis!!!

I’ve been coming here for a long time since I live in the area. The food this time wasn’t super good, but the waitress and the manager were super awesome in making sure we were happy with our visit. The dessert was fantastic. I really recommend the Molten Chocolate Cake. Overall it was a nice experience.

It is your basic Chili’s. No better, no worse. Any issue here is the same with any Chili’s. I’ve had food that needed to be sent back but they are accommodating. D not go if your looking for a high quality meal, but if you want a day or night out, it does the job, and has a liquor license.

Chills Apopka –once again can’t get service. Sat at the bar. When we couldn’t get service the host even said well there’s only 2 working in the dining room as if to say good luck getting waited on in there also. No thanks !

I visit this Chili’s location about once a month for family dinners. Recently is has seemed that the menu has expanded to include more interesting menu items but the prices have jumped considerably as well. I would say that in general and not just specific to this location, the prices do not match the value received and quality of atmosphere. During this specific visit, we went for dinner around 8:30 on a Thursday and it was packed. It did seem a bit understaffed for a busy window but the service was friendly. Since we visited during March Madness, a game was on the TV in the dining room and bar area. We were seated in the dining room and all TVs in that area were so dim that you couldn’t make out the score. The bar area seemed to be a bit brighter but I would definitely recommend that be improved for future guests. I will continue to visit this location.

Made the mistake of eating here for dinner last night and spent my entire day today sick with food poisoning. I have no idea what your kitchen did to contaminate my margarita chicken but the sickness I have felt today was unimaginable. I will not ever eat at your chili’s location or any location for that matter, again.

Stopped off with a buddy to grab a drink and dinner. Service was amazing, food was good but the presidente margarita had so much sour mix 6 hours later I have heartburn beyond anything I’ve ever had before. Like I said service was good, food was fresh bar drinks were just not right.

This Chili’s has remodeled. It is a casual dining chain resturant so as long as you keep your expectations in check all is well. It is average. Just average. But the facelift to the dated building and free chips and salsa in the bar are good things.

Another Apopka restaurant to mark off my list. Terrible service… cold food and could never get a refill on my beer. I don’t think Apopka will EVER get a decent restaurant.

We live in Apopka, not a lot of choices when it comes to take out dinner. We order take out from Chili’s a couple of times a week, family of four. These guys just can’t get it right. The food is cold when we pick it up, seems like we are always missing part of the order. I keep going back, thinking it was a one-​time thing, but that’s not the case. If you call to complain they say all the right things, but the service doesn’t change. I’m not looking for a free advertiser, I’m looking to get my order right, give me what I paid for. I guess that’s to much to ask from this Chili’s location. I hate to say it, but buyer beware. Maybe if you eat in the experience is better.

We ordered the flat bread — always a yummy choice! We have tried all three and like them very much. And how can you go wrong with two for one drinks! the bartender/​waitress at this location was very friendly and very good! Good beginning to the day out…

This Chilis runs hot and cold. Sometimes you go in and food is great and service is quick and attentive and some times it is slow, food is wrong and service could be better. That being said, we still go here regularly because the good is always better than the slow. Glad to have a newer food option in Apopka. Love their car side carry out which is great with kids!

We always sit in the bar area (free chips and salsa!!) and I love that the servers remember us. Food is usually quick, hot and correct. Drink specials you can’t beat!
Wish they filtered their regular water. Absolutely LOVE the chocolate chip cookie skillet. Friendly folks working there. Great for a quick lunch/​dinner with a lot of variety. Sign up for their coupons and get free stuff every week.

Almost without failure every time we try to give this Chilis another go, we get sick. It’s pitiful, not only because the serving staff has no idea what their doing. I’ve been a serving for almost all my working life. Except for now, due to the fact I have my own business. But step one in serving is anticipation. Not one has that. I’m not sure what’s so difficult. The sections are small, there’s a host. Get organized! The bartenders always seem on point. Although, I’ve never tried a drink, mostly because the drink menu is a little biased towards tequila. Just skip this place and try Panera it’s right across the way, and you most definitely will have fast service and won’t get sick on the way home.

First and foremost, filter your water! There is nothing worse than tainted h2o. I was smart and ordered tea, just in case to disguise any nastiness. Other dinner guests, not so smart. :)
I am not sure why it is so hard to serve fresh, quality food. Apopka is starving for good places to eat. If only the management increased their standards, locals would eat here morning, noon and night. Everything we had tasted pre packaged. The flavors were off. Even my safe standard fajita was mediocre at best. Tortillas were not warmed, onions were more boiled than caramelized, the cheese allowed you enough to gather on your fork for one decent serving. If I didn’t know where I was eating, I would swear Denny’s started serving fajitas. We left feeling disappointed and will not be coming back anytime soon, unless there is a «under new management» sign posted out front.

We arrived at 6:15 on a Friday and there was a small wait. we were seated after 10 minutes. From then on things deteriorated. The food took forever to come out. Our waitress was not around to take our order, and when she did, the food took so long to get there that we missed other plans we had. My mango chicken was average: it was not over or undercooked and was moist. The three appetizer sides were just disgusting. The southwest chicken egg rolls were NOT good. I think southwest and egg roll do not belong together. The fried, battered chicken in sauce was overly greasy, salty and sweet all at the same time… a high blood pressure pill waiting to happen. The small hamburgers were passable.
We had a free dessert coupon, and it turned out not to be worth it… 20 minutes wait just for dessert. It is a chain, and convenient, and i’m sure that is why they survive.

We hadn’t been to a Chili’s in AGES but there always seems to be a crowd here so we decided to give them another try and see what the crowds are all about. After having an early dinner here I can guess the ONLY reason people must come here… Happy Hour.
We had absolutely no problem with service as others have said. Our server was friendly, attentive and efficient. We ordered an app, entrees, and dessert. We also had a couple of rounds of their «All Day, Every Day» happy hour 2−4−1. Their draft beer selection mostly stunk but they did have some decent brews. We ended up having Sam Adams Summer Brew to start but it tasted watery so we switched to Stella. When our Stellas came out watery we decided either A. they really are watered down or B. the strange plastic mugs the beer is served in gives it a strange taste. But still, at about $ 2 each you can’t complain too much.
Food came out in a timely manner. All food was just ok, and definietely not worth the price (Final damage for 2 adults and a child: $ 70!). My margarita chicken (see photo) looked almost disgusting and tasted like something I could easily throw together at home. Hubby’s tacos weren’t great either. The southwest eggroll app was ok and the molten lava cake (my son loved it) wasn’t worth the calories. Sooo… Chili’s. Not impressed. Why can’t we get more decent eateries in APK?!?

The food at all Chili’s restaurants is pretty much the same, so all that is left to review is the cleanliness and service.
This location does well on both accounts. Servers are friendly and quick, and the restaurant is kept reasonably quick for a fried food type chain.
