Elegant Nails

Wanted to try a new place close to my house. I had remembered seeing this place on several occasions. I was in dire need of a pedicure. Let’s just say I made a HUGE MISTAKE when I walked thru the door! I didn’t notice things until I was seated for my pedi. Work stations with missing doors, overstocked areas that were very dusty, containers of cotton that were absolutely filthy.
Now it was time for my pedi. I strongly dislike men working on my feet for starters. So unfriendly was he. If you hate your job– then go do something else– don’t take it out on my delicate metatarsals. He stabbed me with very sharp nail trimmers! Thankfully he didn’t make me bleed– had he though, I would have been arrested for assault. The rest of the pedi seemed rushed. Not for one moment was I able to relax!
Ok now it’s time to paint my toes. I hand him natural nail base coat from OPI. Clearly he’d never seen this product before. He globs it on– well you’re damn str8 I made him fan my toes until it was dry. The color I picked was too light for my complexion, but by this time I just wanted to get the hell out of this place! Ok so now I’m lacquered– he applied spacers as to avoid messing up the paint job– then he wanted to put my sandals on me?! I was like what the heck are doing! I tell him no! He tosses one sandal (bottom down) onto my other sandal (the part I place my foot in). I started fuming! I pull the spacers off, grab my sandals (now the owner wants to intervene). I tell her this has been the worst experience and I will not be returning!
NO TIP…

I love it here. The owner is so friendly and they treat me like family when I come. The owner is the only person I let do my eyebrows I refuse to go any where else.

When I moved to Florida I had the hardest time finding an A one nail salon. Moved to Apopka 3 months ago and decided to stop by Elegant nails and spa after Walmart failed me miserably. Best decision I ever made, they truly take care of you and give you the best pedicures ever. I always let Ken do my nails he’s awesome. There’s a younger guy who is very good with nail designs for those who like them.
