Excellent homemade ice cream and service. I would recommend this place to my best of friends. The owners are very community oriented and have become a staple of the Apple Creek community landscape. Try this place as soon as possible.

Nice little roadside stop. Our food was very good-I had a chicken quesadilla and my husband had a specialty burger and a side of jalapeño poppers. We then ordered ice cream. I had a small salted caramel on a cone which was a very generous 3-scoops. My husband had a soft serve vanilla. Both were very yummy. Workers were very quick and friendly. Glad we stopped here.

This place is small and bad! We ordered a hot dog, onion rings, and mushrooms with 3 ice cream cones! The ice cream cones came out right away and we waited 20 more minutes for our hot food! So, we eat the ice cream and then not hungry for our dinner! The ice cream coming out right away was not our choice! Terrible service, will not return and make sure we go to Dalton Dairiette from here on out!

This is a tiny store with BIG flavor and taste. I had the Gyro, curly fries and soft serve ice cream. The Gyro was as good as those served in a Greek restaurant; the curly fries were exceptionally well seasoned; and the ice cream was/is the best I’ve tasted. The portions were generous; and best of all the ice cream(including the soft serve) is homemade. It is well worth the 38 miles for us to get to Deb’s Golden Bear.

The Golden Bear is the place to stop on Rt. 250. Very good home made ice cream. They also make their own pulled pork and chips. The owners and staff are very friendly. I like this place much more than Guerne Heights Drive Inn about 7 miles north near Wooster. Grilled hot dog and hamburger buns. Very old school.
