El Pollo Loco

Took 45min for a drive thru order. None of the order was right both wife and friend are pregnant and made them both wait. Sorry but El Pollo loco needs to change ownership right about now.

Love this location.. Chicken cooked perfectly, service is excellent and polite. Yummy. I even enjoy the fresh flowers on the counter.

I have always loved the tostada salad from el pollo loco. I recently moved to the area and wanted to get one for lunch… well i get a 30 minute lunch time. I get in the drive thru and wait 10 minutes. then get to the window, pay for my food and get told to go wait in the parking lot (i ordered 2 tostada salads) where i waited for an additional 25 minutes. so here it is 35 minutes from time of entering the drive thru to getting my food… seriously 35 minutes. they said the reason for the delay was that they did not have any chicken breasts cooked. ok… so then i expect some really fresh chicken on my salads. nope i get HALF COOKED chicken. not even fully done. EEEEEWW i am so mad. isnt the point of drive thru to be quick? ugh. figure out how to run a restaurant (i have run a few) or shut your doors! now off i go to find something that is not going to make me sick from being under cooked…

Best quality El Pollo loco I’ve ever been to. I was a little worried the quality of the food wasn’t going to be that good but my chicken avocado burrito tasted like it was freshly made. The girl that took my order was super cute and our food was delivered right to our table. ⁵⁄₅

My buddy and I visited this place about a month ago, nice and clean, good food, friendly staff.

I have eaten a bunch of el pollo loco, and this location has some of the friendliest workers. And the food is better than average as well

On Wednesday night I went through the drive through around 9 pm and ordered a family meal. While in the drive through waiting on my food I already paid and can see in the kitchen. I saw an employee drop a stack of about 20 – 30 empty plastic rice bowls. The bowls commonly used for sides and salads. They all fell and scattered all over the first typical fast food floor. I was disgusted when o saw the bowls get picked up, stacked and placed back on the counter for use. This ruined my dinner. I had already paid and couldn’t believe what I saw. As a kid I worked in fast food and I know how nasty those floors are. I also know that anything that hits the ground goes straight to the trash. I will not be going back to this location.

The crew (Bonny and Angelica) were very friendly and helpful.
The avocado burritos is excellent.

Too LOUD Turn OFF the music Its a cracker box place and the no one can even hear when you give the order (unless you shout) Why is with the music blasting in restaurants and stores!?? Its horrible The food here is good but way too much money I stopped going with my family because of the noise Between the hammer in the back as they hammer down the chicken pieces (gross) and the music Its just awful Have no idea what corporations are thinking!!!

This is the way El Pollo Locoo should be! I was greeted when I walked in, the store was clean, everything behind the counter was nice and tidy, salsa bar was clean and tables were clean. Food was hot and fresh, chicken was moist and delicious! Greeted on the way out too, A+++ for customer service and food. Good job everyone!

I’d give more stars but the truth is El Pollo is just to expensive for what you get. I do use the coupons and that’s the only time I eat here. They have good quality food for a bit of a high price.

I always get coupons in the mail for El Pollo Loco and I love their chicken bowls for lunch. I can get a good lunch for $ 5.00 and that includes a drink.
When they mail coupons it is normally for new items that they have. I am a big coupon person so if I can save money I will do it. I have my stack of coupons with me all the time. Yes I am that person in line at Target with mobile coupons and a stack lol.
The family meal is good for when people are coming over who are picky eaters. It is not traditional Mexican food at all, but that is why it is perfect for anyone. Kids will eat it and even the anti anything yummy people you know.
Sometimes I have my siblings come over and I get too busy to cook and this is a great way to feed them. It costs me about $ 40.00 to feed a group of 6 people but that is cheap compared to a restaurant.
You can request changes to your meal here and they will accommodate your needs without giving you any trouble.
My kids even find this food yummy and they are picky.

This location sucks, they throw your food together and very stingy with the carnitas meat. And i was the only one in line and had big order, guess they I wanted to take it home to their families, won’t be back at this one on Bear Valley

While I had tried El Pollo Loco in Miami before, the California chain is completely different.
The salsa bar makes me happy every time.
It’s always super fresh, well stocked and a big selection.
I could and have gone there just for that and only ordered a small rice and beans to make a complete, somewhat healthy, fresh and flavorful meal.
Service is always very friendly, its never full, good parking and very clean inside.
The food takes a bit longer than regular fast food and the prices are a bit higher than I would like.
The $ 5 bowls are fine, but you will pay quite a bit for the chicken.
We had the new burritos, and while they were good, they were pretty small for $ 6, you would easily get double anywhere else for the same price or less.

Last time we went here, we were told that it would be a 15 – 20 minute wait for a 12 piece meal, so we left, thinking it was a random thing.
Yesterday we were aGAIN told it would be a 15 – 20 minute wait! Really??? Is this not a chicken place???
Whatever, we were hungry and i wanted this, so we waited in the parking lot…
15 minutes later we were brought out our items and went home.
9 pieces of the 12 piece meal were great breasts, legs and thighs, but 3 of the pieces were wings!!! c’mon now!!! I paid $ 28 for this!!!
It was really yummy, the sides were good and all, but i can’t get over getting screwed on time and on contents. I’ll be going to Juan Pollo every time now.

Great food, friendly service, always clean. One of my favorite fast good places and we go at least once a month.
