My husband and I go to the place regularly. Linko has an amazing staff with amazing sushi. A couple of people are giving them bad reviews in between the numerous glowing reviews… I assume they are snobs and demanding whiners. The food is quality and presented well, the staff is amazing and get to you as quickly as possible, they have deals everyday and beer nights twice a week. By far their best rolls are highway 18 and screamin’ O. Don’t listen to the snobby reviews by impatient people with no palette for refined food. The chefs here are beyond impressive. My family loves it and I hope you do too.

Currently eating here waiting for a prescription to be filled across the street, great service, cold beer, good sushi.

Love me some Linko! Friendly servers, good food, nice daily specials. It’s a great place to grab a quick to-go bite or to dine in. I especially love half price beer days(Monday its Hite and Friday its all beer!!!)

My friend, Adrianna brought me to this restaurant today for sushi. YUM! The sushi chef. Anthony made us 3 delicious rolls. They were huge and absolutely wonderful. He prepared a 911 roll, a monster roll and the spicy, shrimp, crunch roll. So, so, so good! My favorite was the spicy, shrimp, crunch roll, it was the best sushi I have ever had. We also had Nigori(sp?)it’s the unfiltered Japanese sake. It was so good also.

Food is pretty good but the service is hit or miss. Last time we went there, we sat down and no one came over to even take a drink order for about 10 minutes. We got up and went to another place to eat.

Linko Sushi would be considered a typical suburban sushi place«down the hill» in LA/OC, but in the high desert, it’s one of the classier sushi joints. Because both employees and clientele are on the clean-cut side, nice clothes, clean demeanor, and employed-looking. Which means no sloppy hoodies. And maybe because of it’s location in Jesse Ranch, price of food is a bit higher than some of the other sushi places in victor valley. $ 9.95 tempura udon was excellent, probably the BESTUDON I’ve had in the high desert. And Linko Sushi is the ONLY Japanese/sushi restaurant in the high desert that serves tempura the correct way, with sweet potato/yam as one of the items. The«orange» stuff that every other sushi Japanese restaurants in the high desert serve as tempura is actually«carrot» which is incorrect, wrong, yucky, and cheap. And tempura here is actually lightly-battered, which is the correct way(instead of the thick flour batter kind, which is wrong and yucky, but alas, no Japanese panko used… but then again, I haven’t been to a Japanese restaurant in SoCal that actually uses real Japanese panko batter for tempura, anyways, unless you’re in Little Tokyo or the Torrance area). The $ 17.99 sea bass was just okay, not the best quality, but it’s one of the few places in HD that serves Chilean sea bass as a dinner entrée, besides Château Chang, so it is what it is, and apparently, kind of popular here. I agree with some of the other Unilocalers, hours not very convenient(opens at 11:30am instead of 11:00am, and closes between 2:30pm and 5pm and for weekends, no lunch hours, only open for dinner at 5pm on Sat/Sun). So I guess if you work here, it’s probably good, but if you’re hungry and want it now, then you’re going to have to wait. One of the nicer sushi places in the high desert.

The service was ok, that’s why I didn’t give a one star. The baked muscles were chewy, everything I was served had roe on it(I mean everything). Don’t get me wrong I like any kind of roe but not on everything, the oyster shooter came in a wine glass and I ended up having to use my fork to fish it out of the glass, and they are way too expensive for the product they are producing. The fish tastes old and the calamari rings were very rubbery. In all I will not be coming back.

Tried this place a while back right before they closed so I took my rolls to go… I decided to come back and enjoy the full experience that they had to offer… I must say the service is awesome the place is really clean inside and the temperature is nice and cool… the baked muscles are the best I have had in the HD I think I found a new favorite sushi place

I friking love this place. Hands down best sushi around. Service rocks and food is amazing. Just moved to the desert and was worried I wouldn’t have a «Go to» spot for sushi. After being introduced to Linko I now prefer it over any other spot. Best sushi around !!!

We were driving through and wanted somewhere to stop for a quick lunch, but really didn’t fancy a burger. I was really surprised at how lovely this place was. The rainbow roll was great and tasted really fresh. The chicken teriyaki was fine and the vegetable tempura was really good. Fast and tasty!

Walked in for lunch and when I asked to order I was told they were CLOSED! Then why is the door open? Awful customer service. Overpriced sushi anyway.

I went in around 11:30am and the place was empty. The service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed the complimentary edamame as well as my roll and salad. Other reviews said it was pricey, but I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of food. The fish was fresh and everything tasted great. The seaweed salad is too wet with excess liquid. I need to have a second experience before I gee them a 5.

Ok, walking into the place I thought I was going into a chinese buffet, with out the buffet. No real sushi«ambiance» … Sat down to eat, and the service was pretty fast. But the place was empty except for a few people. Prices were high, and for the HD, they were high! I was like HOLYCOW! We got a spicy tuna Roll, Yellow Tail roll, both for 6.95, and the rainbow roll was 11.95, specialty rolls were through the roof. Sushi came fast with no food presentation, or the pretty sushi look. Tasted Ok, but nothing to rave about. Id MUCH rather stick with Samurai, and Toyko… I think those places have spoiled me. NE ways… I dont recommed Linko… At All…

The sushi cut rolls are above average overall. I have only done takeout, so I really can’t comment on sit-down service. What takes them from a 4 to a 3 is their HIGH prices. I think they fancy themselves as being better than they are. I usually don’t comment on a sushi place unless I have eaten there and tried sashimi, nigiri and maki… but I thought I would share my «over-priced» opinion.

I have had sushi here and it was good but the price was high. I know suhi is expensive but a $ 100 for 2 people is a bit pricey unless the food is fantatic. Service was par at best as well. I won’t go bak for awhile.

Fresh, reasonably priced. Polite, but not overbearing service. A prior reviewer mentioned buttons on the table to request service. Sounded like Fear and Loathing in Apple Valley. Either they don’t exist, I’m blind, or someone was hallucinating. Worth a try, if nothing else.
