This place is a joke along with the manager. How is it a problem to return shoes for one size up? My mom got them here for my husband on Christmas and we’ve been back twice to switch them for the correct size the first time they were going to do it but didn’t have them in stock now they said they can’t which is ridiculous! Same lady and she even recognized us. Better off going to walmart where you won’t run into these problems!
So in other words don’t shop here for loved ones on black Friday for Christmas because by chance it runs big or they whatnot your stuck with a useless item and they WILL NOT help you!

This is a dismal store with a horrible manager Jacob Sveter who refused to exchange defective mattress covers for a store credit because I was 10 days over their 30 day return policy. I thought I would give them business instead of Walmart but it turned out to be a mistake. I assumed by a misleading receipt that the return policy was like Walmart at 90 days.

They are so rude, no customer service. I was next in line and the other cashier called me over, as I was walking over another customer ran infont of me and the cashier took, me I didn’t move fast enough. Well I have a disease where I can’t run.
Then the thermals where 50% off, and it rang up 9.99 ref 12.99. Umm that’s not 50% off. Then she wanted to say not all of them were. They were all the same brand. As the cashier and manager argued I walked out.
This is why I never shop kmart.

Lines are constantly out of control, the place looks dirty, only one person at service desk, tf???

I normally don’t like to shop at Kmart cause the bad customer service but Tonight I had the best customer service which normally doesn’t happen at Kmart I had a girl name Jennifer from jewelry help me out and she went out her way to give me the best customer service and help me find a coupon so I could get great deal she will be the reason I come back!(:

This store is so dirty and they need to do some updating. It’s like a giant $ 1 store but things cost more.
I felt like I was at a swap meet looking for things because nothing was organized and nothing was priced. I wanted to start making deals and seeing if I could make my own prices.
Nasty food cups sitting on the shelf and trash on the floor. Everything seemed to be on sale but the prices were not any different from target or Walmart.
I do like that that have a lot of house stuff and the seasonal section is pretty big. I only shop here if I am on my way home from my work and it’s on the way.
The lines take forever to get through and the employees are not very helpful. I once had a return and nobody would help me get it into the store and it was a large item from sporting goods.
Their rewards program can be good but it’s not really worth it.

I want to thank Jennifer for helping me out at the Jewelry counter. She was patient and professional. I was able to get the jewelry I wanted, price for the value was outstanding. Yes I will shop and defiantly purchase more jewelry at Kmart in Apple Valley. I would very much like Jennifer to assist me again. Her professionalism will bring me back to shop at this store.

I don’t generally like Kmart, primarily because most of them are run down. This store definitely needed an update. It feels like the retail version of Pic N Save (which is now Big Lots). The store associates were nice, but there was hardly anybody here and the parking lot was damn near empty.
Suffice to say, I only came to get my dog (aka son) a kiddy pool to play in, because the desert heat isn’t friendly to German Shepherd Dogs.
