Just went shopping here with my husband and at checkout the register froze after putting payment through. The store manager Brian told us to checkout at another register, my husband being concerned about being charged twice check our account online, regardless of the fact the charge was pending in our account he would not allow us to take our purchase without checking out again. So we left empty handed and with a charge to our account. I having worked in retail myself I feel the store manager should have handled this mess way better, you want to keep your customers business not give them any options and let them leave empty handed.

This place is hard to rate. I give it 4 stars for quality and price but it’s so disorganized and messy. I enjoy coming here because I can find great things at great prices just be prepared to trip over clothes in the isles. Quality and price = 4 stars Cleanliness = 0

The pickens are slim when it comes to shopping in the HD. Very slim, highlights would be Target, Marshall’s, Kohl’s or Burlington. They do have a huge shoe selection where both my son and husband have scored some goods at great prices, also clothes they have found here. HUGE sizes, up to 5 or 6XL, well stocked and clean store. Service is fine, tons of parking out front, never full inside.

I had a very upsetting experience with this company today resulting in the decision to never shop here again. I came in and purchased baby gifts for my cousins baby shower. I had bought some baby Aveeno lotion which is not cheap stuff and was sold here at regular price as other stores for $ 7.99 for the 18 oz. bottle. I bought it for my daughter as she needed it and it happened to be sold there so I decided to purchase it there rather than having to go to another store after shopping. My 15 month old daughter was with me shopping today. As we were checking out at the register my daughter was playing with the lotion bottle as it kept her content and quiet(Parents know what I’m talking about). As I took it from her hands so the girl at the register can ring it up she started to cry. So after she rung up the lotion I asked if I could have it back so my daughter could continue to hold it and be content. So I payed for everything and proceeded to exit the store. If you’ve shopped here you know the carts cannot leave the doors. So I park my cart to the other carts and take my purse, shopping bag, and diaper bag out of the cart. Then I take my daughter out of the cart and we exit the store. I get home and realize that I had left the lotion my daughter was holding in the cart. I go back to the store about an hour later and explain what had happened and presented my receipt to the customer service rep which happened the be the same cashier that I checked out with. She remembered me of course and looked to see if the lotion was brought to the customer service area. It was not found so we then looked through the carts, was not found there. She calls management and explains the situation. Apparently they are looking at video at the time of my purchase. She has management come over and he explains that according to their«Policy» video shows the item being purchased and given to me so it is no longer in their posession and they are not liable for whatever happens to the item afterwards and there is nothing they can do. I was extremely upset hearing that and my response was«Wow, so basically I’m screwed and you keep my money and I get nothing? All he said was«Sorry» and it wasn’t even sincere! Apparently their«Policy» says nothing about making their customers happy. Just another business that only cares about money! People make mistakes, I’m a hard working Mom & Military wife with a toddler and I get kicked in the ass for making a simple mistake! It was lotion I paid $ 8 for and they couldn’t give me a break?! I mean really? I wasn’t making a scene, I wasn’t trying to get something free, I just wanted what I paid for. I never had an experience with a company that did not try to do something for their customer to make their situation right or fair. I will never shop here again. Screw them and their«Policy»! $$$ is all they want from you!

I liked to shop here when they first opened because the shoe department was really nice for a bargain store. I went into this store not too long ago and they took out the shelves and lights in the shoe department to replace it with ghetto racks that you can’t find a thing.

Prices for clothes(especially baby clothes) is excellent. Lots of choices to choose from. Home décor items are really over-priced though. Store is always pretty clean.

Love this place. I don’t shop any where else except online. I love the selection of coats and the clothing is right up my alley. BCF is the bizness!!!
