Los Domingos – Apple Valley

Been driving by here for over a year now. Never remember it’s there when we want to go out. We have only lives in the HD for 3 years. My husband is a diehard Chilli Verde person. We have tried multiple places and always end up back down the hill in Banning, yes it is a long drive. After last night I’m sorry to say no more trips down the hill for us. Husband has found a new place for his love of Chilli Verde. The staff was wonderful, very good team work for a busy Friday night at peak dinner time. Definitely a new food relationship has been made here.

I’ve lived a block away for 6 years. The food is NOT authentic. Even so I could deal with that if their staff was more polite. Every single time I go there the staff is so unwilling to help you. The vibe is all off. Not fun. Not nice. Don’t go here unless you’re used to bad attitudes and subpar Mexican food from a can.

The food is awesome! My husband and I keep coming back and no matter what we order, we’re very happy with the dishes. We’ve brought visiting family members and friends who have very good things to say about Los Domingos. It can get very busy sometimes, especially on weekends. So you can expect the occasional wait, especially when they have large parties in the back. But the food doesn’t suffer during the busy times. Every time we come in Isaac finds his way over to check on us. He’s a super fun guy who can always get a laugh out of us and he’s really good about taking care of customers. I can strongly recommend this restaurant!

Los Domingos has excellent Mexican and top of the line customer service. Their fajitas are delicious! Living in the high desert, there are not many authentic Mexican food places around but Los Domingos is really all we need since it is the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this establishment.

I love Los Domingos restaurant! I’ve tried their enchiladas, their chicken fisher, their tacos, and a lot more! Their customer service is always great! The owners and employees are super nice! I go there often when i am in the area and this is the best Mexican food restaurant there is out here! I highly recommend it to everyone, local and tourists! They also have a full bar if you want to go have a cocktail after a rough day at work!

Second time coming here. The food is outstanding but the service is horrible. Both times our waitress and waiter came to our table once maybe twice. They are not polite and our food and drinks are basically thrown at our table. If it continues this is way we won’t be coming back. 5 star rating just went down to a 2.

My Mom, Esther Gomez turned 70 yrs old on Jan 21^st I was referred to Claude at Apple Valley Los Domingos to reserve an area for 15 – 20 family members to celebrate with her. I couldn’t have made a better choice. Our group grew to over 40 and he accommodated us in the bar area. The buffet which consisted of a green salad, dressing, rice, beans, enchiladas, 3 types of tacos plus garnishes & salsa & guacamole, chips, water, tea & coffee. We were pleased with the reasonable price of $ 11.95 a person plus tax & gratuity. Claude & his staff were very hospitable & attentive. The food was ready at 230pm as we arranged & the guest were treated with utmost courtesy. The temperature of the food was perfect & the rice & beans had such an authentic flavor. It was great 2 season such a memorable day with a delicious meal. I would definately schedule another event here. Thank You Los Domingos. thank you Claude

I would recommend this to anyone that loves Mexican food. The always have fresh seafood and it’s always great service anytime day or night.

Food was good. But when you order an appetizer and it comes after your meal, and is not even close to worth the wait, it’s a little disappointing!!!

Very nice waiters and staff, but the food was overpriced and took too long to get to the table. The food was pretty good though, also a great place to watch a sports event!

Went here for dinner on ⁸⁄₁₈. Came during happy hour and the place was pretty packed. I found a seat at the bar and the bar tender came right away and took my order. Drinks were $ 1 off and appetizers were 25% off. Plus I came on «Taco Tuesday».
Ambiance: More of a dive bar/​sport bar type of feel. TV was playing a number of different games. Pretty happening for a Tuesday evening.
Service: Pretty good. Food came out at a decent pace. The server asked a number of times if I needed anything else.
Food: I was hungry so opted for 2 carne asada tacos and the shrimp cocktail. They start you off with chips and salsa. The salsa was good but they gave you a pretty small amount. The carne asada tacos were pretty good. They were a big portion and even had guacamole. The hot sauce that came with it was not spicy at all. It was a corn-​like tortilla. The shrimp cocktail was big, actually a tad too big. Full of shrimp. The sauce was really watery. I would have preferred it more chunky. The first few bites were good, but then it got to be too much.
Value: The tacos were $ 2.50, but were a good size. I think the place was a pretty good deal during happy hour.
I would come back.

This is a wonderful place to go to. It’s cute.
The servers are attentive and welcoming. You get the feeling like you are at your Tita’s house. She wants everything to be great and for you to roll out of the booth because you tried to eat as much food as you possibly can.
My friend ordered the special. When you are told what the special is, you get the special. Today’s special was a hard shelled taco (shredded beef or chicken) with a side of rice and beans, along with a house salad. The taco was bigger than an average-​sized hand. They call this a regular taco. You definitely get your money’s worth.
I had the taco salad. It came with shredded chicken (or beef), lettuce, beans, cheese, and huge dollops of sour cream and guacamole. This was all placed in a flaky tostada.
The size of their entrees is more than decent. It’s difficult to finish the entire plate in one sitting.
Remember, always get the special!

We have eaten here many times and are I guess, considered regulars. The food is always good and consistent with an authentic Mexican flair. The staff is attentive and greet you with a smile, hoy hoy. The majority of the staff know us and bring out our drinks immediately. David is especially attentive and cool. He even makes the extra effort that Dan’s Mazookie Is ready for desert. This place is certainly worth dining at. Muey Buen

What a hot little find!
Since I was here a few years ago, they’ve expanded into the unit next door and made a great bar. Very tastefully decorated and great service.
The Desert Pear Margaritas ate really tasty and the salsa is fresh and flavorful. Guacamole is made tableside and was perfectly seasoned. I had the steak and grilled chicken tacos, ala carte, and they were huge for $ 3.95. The chicken is fantastic! Can’t wait to go back for their fish tacos and ceviche which I hear are amazing as well.
I was told taco Tuesday is the hook up, those same big tacos are just $ 2.00, and this girl just loves a deal.
We will most definitely be back!

Great place! First off, I LOVE their chips and salsa! they have good prices on their beers and food. Have a lot of draft beers you normally do not see. Its a cute little spot that seems like a great locals hang out spot. I sat up at the bar, so dont have much of a dining experience as I just met some friends here for a few beers and to hang out and have some fun. Definitely wanna sit down and enjoy lunch or dinner here, I think it will be great!
