I am so pissed! Richard needs to be reported or locked up taking people hard earned money! I have two kids and it was freezing in my house because my heater wasn’t working. So I decided to call Richard up to fix the issue! My mistake! He came to my house was gonna charge me 280 $. instead charged me $ 100 and said he would fix it. Than once he left my heater didn’t work at all… I tried to get a hold of him more than once and nothing. He than text back saying he will return after a service he was working on… hours later. nothing! So pissed and highly upset that my money went to complete waste! This dude needs to be reported and stop taking advantage of people!

I am writing this to warn anyone that has a heating or air issue to stay clear of Richard Booth from R. B Heating & Air from Adelanto, CA. At first he comes out to get the job, very responsive, talks as if he is an expert in the craft but soon in to it he has charged you so much and the work is not done. He first came out to repair a hot water tank, telling me that it needed to be replace but it was working, saying that he replaced the thermocouple and pilot tube assembly. I paid him in cash $ 280.12, $ 139.00 in parts and $ 130. 00 in labor he gave me a invoice. He came at night, I’m a senior and didn’t understand why he waited so late, but I want and needed the hot water. In two days I was back to no hot water! I called and texted him for two days on and off. He would say«I’m coming, I will be here in an few, I’m eating a will get there in a few.» He finally showed up, now I need a new hot water tank. I contact my landlord and it is approved and he can do the job. This is another two days wait, but he is asking about the monies that he needs. He came late it was dark. He puts the tank in asks for his money and leaves the old one in my driveway. The money was transferred into my account by my landlord to pay him and he went crazy. I told him the next day he could get his money when he finished the job, picking up the old tank. There were text messages that were very harmful and disrespectful for a business man or a man in general to my landlord as well myself. He was paid the next day after he picked up the old tank. Well, a couple of days later there is a leak and the water is all over the floor in the wash room and now two days after calling him and text him the water is in the garage. He sucks, he texts now I need a new pipe that my landlord didn’t want to do in the first place. A new plumber was called, he came right out and fixed his mess. This has cost my and my landlord greatly, time and money for me and money for my landlord! This guy was paid $ 1110.08 for two messed up jobs that someone else was paid to come and fix. I packed pot of water from the stove for days and the water that has been wasted my bill is going to be outrageous. He is unprofessional and a liar. Please, please stay clear of this guy! He still hasn’t showed, texted or called to this day. He is not a person you should trust, don’t give him money up front and for sure no credit cards. He will deceive you and he is a liar. I have never experience anything like this in the 60 + years I have been on earth. A very bad experience that I wouldn’t want anyone to go through!

Bad News ~ Bad News ~ .I am 70 years old and this rascal never did what he took hundreds of dollars to do. I am filing small claims and will also report him to the State Contractors board as I do not think he has a contractors license.

There are HVAC companies all over. Many are okay, many aren’t. I was completely impressed with the promptness of service and the knowledge demonstrated by Richard when he looked my system over. Many«techs» act like they know everything — but DON’T(which is probably why my system has the wrong fan installed). Richard has the rare ability to say«I’m not sure.» That is HUGE in my book. My system is a little out of the ordinary, so Richard researched it… AND… showed me what he found, and where. He is my go-to guy for future service requests!
