Target Store

This Target and I have a love hate relationship. I love how close it is, I hate how they are always low on stock. When it first opened, it was very well stocked, produce was awesome. always clean and amazing.
The last couple years, their produce hasn’t been as nice as it once was. They are always stocking and leaving big carts in everyone’s way. I don’t mind if they are stocking, but when they have 4 – 5 carts of products blocking an entire isle… that is just frustrating.
Most employees are super friendly and helpful, their are a couple who could use some customer service training. One cashier in particular needs to mind her business and do her job. She is always on top of me about my baby. «He is too cold!» «He looks too warm!» «You shouldn’t use those bottles!» Lady… this is my second baby, the first is 9 and still alive. back off!
Most times I come there are at least 2 – 3 things on my grocery list that they are out of. It’s always something random… like corn syrup? Sometimes if it is a weekend, I just give up completely and go else where. I really believe they did not anticipate the growth that would happen when they built this location. We could easily use a target twice this size.
Overall, I’m still going to shop here. Excited for Hyvee to open next door and give me a little more options.

This store has an issue of being out of many items in the grocery section. I always have to stop somewhere else to complete my shopping because this store is out of so many items. This store is also short staffed on cashiers and not very clean compared to other twin cities Target stores.

This is my favorite Target store in the Twin Cities area! It is always clean, organized and generally well-​stocked. What I especially love about this store is the availability and friendliness of their employees. I am almost asked at least once per trip if there’s anything they can help me find. If I ask an employee for help and they can’t help me, they stop what they’re doing and find someone who can. Their cashiers are engaging. The only thing I wish they would improve upon is their management of the checkout lanes. There never seems to be enough checkout lanes open and the wait times can be long. That said, it has improved some with the addition of 4 self-​checkout registers. Overall, I love this store.

More often than not this location’s grocery section is commonly sold out of a lot of merchandise. Its very frustrating when you need to shop and they don’t stock themselves enough product to keep at least some product on the shelf for demand instead of enough product to commonly run out and people have to wait till the next shipment or shop elsewhere for their products. I heard that this location is their 2^nd highest grossing location but it seems weird that they wouldn’t stock properly for that.

Always packed, screaming children and frazzled parents everywhere, and it never seems very stocked. I’ve been there at various times during the day and it’s always the same. I honestly check online for an item at this location to see if it’s stocked before I think about going there. It usually seems the groceries aren’t stocked either. Normally, I can get half my list there and I’m still running to the grocery store if I need something specific. Thanks to the staff who DO try to help if they can when you need something though.

This is a great target! The produce is always fresh and the variety of this store is really good. This has quickly became my favorite Target!

This is a followup to my previous review, and there have been some small improvements. Less waiting in checkout queues, and restocking of products has improved. I am hoping that it gets back to where it once was. Competition will soon be opening up across the street, which may benefit the consumers more than reviews can!

My favorite Target store… A nice size and easy to access off of Pilot Knob. So much easier to get to and far less busy than the location in downtown Apple Valley.
And as with many Target locations, there is a Starbucks conveniently located inside.

Best target in this area. It seems like no matter where you go though, there are never enough registers. I don’t understand the concept of 24 checkout lanes, with only 6 open at any given time except maybe Black Friday?
Clean store.
Seems like they need someone new in charge of inventory, often out of a lot of things I purchase.
Discontinue carrying regular purchase items. weird

I love Target, and Target loves my check card. They always know what I need but to much of what I don’t need. LOVE there organic and natural sections in their grocery area. But they could stop moving things around, as soon as I figure out where things are they move them.

What can I say, I am a Target fan all the way, and the best part is that they are a Minnesota company. I shop at Target for everything, I shop for my groceries there every Friday morning, and stop about 3 other days of the week for other stuff. This store is always very clean, and the staff is usually really friendly, and they are usually really good about calling additional cashiers to the front when it gets busy. However, when you visit a store that often it it impossible to have 4 and 5 star service every time. My main gripe with this location is that I can never seem to finish shopping for my groceries without them being out of at least one item, it’s usually the 1 gallon market pantry brand purified water, I buy this for my espresso machine. I would normally rate this store a 4 star Target but I have to adjust my review as I was there yesterday for printer ink. I needed to print something out and my printer told me that I needed ink, so on my way home from work I stopped by Target, (my second trip there of the day, (now that I think about it, I think that when I got there I forgot to check in…)) When I went back to the printer section of the store, they were out of my ink, the Kodak 30 combo package. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but this is the 3^rd time in the last 4 months that I went to Target for this ink and they have been out, seriously Target, what do you have against the Kodak 30 combo printer ink? I really do need to do a better job buying this stuff before it runs out, kind of like toilet paper, I would never run out of that completely before buying more. The next closes store is 4 miles away, so I came home and ordered it from Amazon, I can always count on them, and as a prime member, free 2 day shipping, the ink was also $ 4 cheaper their. For the most part, this Target is a great store to shop and I would recommend it to anybody.
